Arepa Mia Bar & Restaurant, Florida reviews
15It's clean, the food is outstanding, and staff was kind and prompt. Chill atmosphere. Food is served hot. Good portion sizes and pricing. Overall the best PR restaurant experience I've had in Florida. Go mid week if you want quiet. And yes, they make excellent Mofongo.
Everything we’ve had here is delicious! My biggest recommendations are the Chicken and avocado arepas (fried), and the fried pork meal with rice and beans.
Nice small restaurant with great food. The mofongo with pork and steak along with the alcapurrias were very tasty.
Best Puertorrican Venezuelan restaurant so far. Delicious food, specially the " Asopao "
Well, what are the rules of reviews? 5 stars for the food, 5 stars for the service but the atmosphere for ME is not 5 stars but 4, should I put 5 stars so you think it's 4? I will never go back to this place to eat again, for your information there are about 5 places that offer reina pepeada con chicharron in the city.
They must learn that not just because they are Venezuelan they will always get 5 stars.
This place is overpriced. The quality of the food is even below the health department standards. They served me the food way undercooked. And the customer service is terrible. If you want to waste your time & money, definitely come to this place.
Omg is all I got to say. The food was amazing I ordered rice, plantains, tostones, beans, fried cheese and a passion fruit drink. Owner was very helpful to me and the food was just soooo good.definitely will be back soon.
Very bad attention when I get to know the place or the greeting, nobody asks you anything or attends to you, I could not try anything or experience the place more thoroughly, it was literally painted on the wall
Arepa Mia was recommended to me twice by a couple of trusted friends, in a week's span. They both were raving about the food and I thought, "what tha hell? "
I've never felt so betrayed in my life and I won't be speaking to either one of them ever again.
However, I do recommend popping in here if you get the chance. I ordered a Cuban. I don't know what they gave me but it was pretty good. I gotta brush up on mi Espanol.
What a fantastic find! Great Cuban food! Beef empanada, meat platter, beef arepa.
I tried the in-house sangria, TRY IT!
THANK YOU!
Excellent service, a very nice place and first-class attention, by the way, I recommend the cachapa with fried pork with closed eyes
My husband and I had a delicious and fresh meal here on the way to the MidFlorida Amphitheatre. We had the shredded chicken and ground beef empanadas with a side order of mofongo. The empanadas were fried to perfection in fresh oil and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The mofongo had the perfect amount of garlic. We would frequent this establishment if we lived closer for sure. If you are nearby, don't pass up your chance to taste for yourself.
Ordered a delicious bowl of sancocho, pina colada, beef empanada, and alcapurrias. All was appetizing and the atmosphere was great!
Wow! Food and service are FABULOUS! Want authentic Puerto Rican food? Here is your place. Move over Rice and Beans in Wesley Chapel, you have some STRONG competition.
Nice and cozy place. Food was good. Service was friendly. Place was clean. José, the owner, really knows how to run his business. Thanks for everything!
