Staff was amazing although location didn't look like the quality that hid behind those doors that lead to the quality staff they have hidden away. Great place for sugery and staff would recommend.

My wife insulin depended diabetic and we requested an early appointment but she was given a 11: 15 am appointment. She was being put to sleep so she could not have any food after 11 pm the night before. We arrived at 10: 50 am a little early allowing extra time if traffic was bad. The waiting area was full with many being patients waiting to go back. We started talking to some and discovered their appointments were later than ours. However, even with later appointments these people we being taken back while my wife and I sat waiting. I asked the ladies at the front desk why this was and she said, "If they filled out their paper work before their appointments, they get put ahead. This means appointments mean nothing. Just come in when you want and get ahead of people keeping there appointments as scheduled. I also noticed every employee was Spanish speaking and most of the people going ahead were also Spanish speaking. One old man obviously not Spanish told us he was still waiting and had a 9: 30 am appointment. Finally, at approximately 2 pm they toke my wife back. At 5 pm I finally went again to the front desk and demanded to know the status of my wife. I was told she was just coming out of surgery. She told me she was put in the back and left until 4: 30 pm when she told them to take her IV out because she was going home. Her blood sugar was dropping and she had a migraine due to no food or water for 17 hours. During the time she set back there waiting she watched the nurses who i guess decided the order of surgery send the Hispanic patients first regardless of appointment time. I notice you have many bad reviews all stating excessive wait times and the names are in the most part are people not having Hispanic names. This favoritism is blatantly racist. If your staff continues to favor only Hispanic patients we may have to find a doctor that practices elsewhere. This would be a sad state of affairs because we love the doctor.

See below the response from Armenia Surgery Center.
This is the same response they automatically give their customers who complain. Of course they never correct the problem. Note That there are 22 negative reviews out of 43 reviews covering a 2 month to 9 year time period all complaining of the same thing, all got the same answer. Obviously, senior management doesn't give a damn that 52% of customers are mistreated. Consider that most people don't take the time to complain, this is no doubt thousands of people.

I have undergone, seriously, just under fifty of these “Procedures” and “Interventions. ” I practically receive mail at Dr. Leal’s office. I get it, pain makes you impatient and being a Caregiver makes you feel helpless. I see the impatience virtually every time I’m in his office each month these last ten years. Perspective, people. The hours and hours of suffering if you don’t get the medication or procedure versus the hours of waiting. FYI, I’d venture that if you storm out of the office, or won’t wait for a procedure that you probably aren’t in as much “Pain” as you say you are. Bless your hearts, Caregivers but from the moment you sign in, it isn’t about you. If you’re here, then you know seating anywhere is treacherous so bring a pillow. Do your homework, read the literature on the medications that come from the pharmacy. If you don’t do that already, get with the program. You aren’t taking cold medicine or a statin, this stuff is serious. The literature tells you what you need to know and I guarantee you when you scheduled they handed you a piece of paper telling you what to stop. Be a grown-up. The meds are common sense. They thin your blood, and these people are piercing your skin. Not rocket science. Don’t be passive, but don’t be a pain in the neck either. You have a lot of responsibilities as a patient, particularly if you’re under an Opiate Contract. I have never seen the Center anything but spotless, and I’ve been there many times under multiple owners. Final thing, for those of us that WAIT for availability with these wonderful Professionals, when you take a spot and don’t have the fortitude to not eat or drink for EIGHT HOURS, then you get sent home, we really want to kill you for your selfish lack of self-control and complete disregard for every single person in that building and praying to make it there. I am sincerely sorry that you are at the point where you are needing to read this, but this place will help make life better. Don’t make it more uncomfortable by rating them like you would a restaurant. Technically, you’re their main course anyway. Vulnerable is okay, they see nothing but unhappy, afraid people (and me). Tell them how you feel, create a relationship, that forms the backbone to communication. If you’re blessed enough to have Dr. Leal, he’s doing it there over Tampa General because he didn’t like how they treated his patients. He’s an Attending there, so that’s a remarkable stand to take. He’s under contract too. This is PPOA in-house. That creates a closer ownership from your record and filing on up. Good luck and keep moving!

We went there May 10,2023.a few days ago. We were stuck in traffic and tried to call to let them know we might be late. No answer. When we did get there, we waited over an hour before my husband went in to surgery. While waiting, he went to the restroom; it was filthy. Feces was on the side of the toilet and floor. He told the front desk, but nobody came to remedy the situation. I had to go, too, but decided I'd wait even if I burst, rather than use a nasty restroom.
When he did go in for his operation, he was out in 20 minutes without surgery, because the nurse that called him for pre-op never told him to stop certain medications.
The waiting room was not very clean with straight chairs that can only be described as brutally painful to sit in for more than five minutes. One patient told us she had waited 5 hours in her uncomfortable chair the last time she was there before they called her in for surgery.
Just basic cleanliness is ignored here. The glass windows and doors were all smeared and needed a good Windex job. If my husband elects to continue with going to this third world establishment for surgery, I'll bring some cleaning materials and spend my numerous waiting hours trying to sanitize the place.
To me, no matter how nice or talented the physician is, one has to consider if the outside of the surgery center is so filthy, what's the operating room like? What infection might one get from an unsanitary place? One star award is a gift.

No communication, just like Physician Partners of america, the surgery center follows suit. I several times I have asked questions pertaining to my husband's health and whether he could take medications and never received an answer. I've asked to speak with someone. They just took him back from surgery, and I hope he does okay and there's no repercussions to his health due to unanswered questions. We had tired calling before we came, and all we got was the run around. The patient forms they have you full out have blanks and I complete spaces they want you to sign. This is just not how you conduct business. I'm sorry if your staff is upset because I won't sign blank forms.

Our appointment was at 6.45 am we came on time, now it's 8.30.not seen yet.
When I asked the front disk about reason for bringing us so early and waiting so long, she said that she is working alone and had so many patients to enter at the same time.
Suggested to have anther stuff person to help her
