2I tried to donate a ton of shower items donated from hotels, water bottles and boxes of snacks and granola bars for the the children on intake and they refuse to take the donations or even give me a phone call back. I am shocked! Being in a childrens shelter previously I know how much care packages it meant when you have so little - getting a gift from someone can mean so much. The fact that they would deny and refuse these children more help and resources when that’s what they are in the business to do is completely shocking to me. I am so discouraged and my heart is truly broken for the children inside. Someone else needs to be running this facility!
Both my daughters have stayed here. It was a safe place to be while taking time away from home. I can't thank the staff enough
