Art Ovation Hotel, Autograph Collection, Sarasota FL

The hotel provides a particular decoration. Talk about the experience: the venue is full of artsy arrangements, paintings, and furniture that stimulate your senses and capture your life imagination. As an added plus, you can walk to the Marina for beautiful sunsets.

I loved visiting Sarasota. My daughter is attending Ringling College, so I chose this hotel because it is close to the campus. After booking it, I learned from colleget literature that Ringling students were involved in designing this project. I've stayed here for Orientation Week as well as Family Weekend, and both stays were wonderful. I chose to use valet parking, and they could not be any nicer or more helpful if they tried. Andrea is also fabulous at the front desk. I highly recommend this property. The artwork around the property is beautiful and fun to look for throughout the hotel. I love the sketchbooks in every room.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Good staff, great vibe. Paper thin walls - great for sleepless nights, hearing random people’s conversations. Drunk people screaming in elevators and hallways. Doors slamming constantly. Rooftop bar blares loud music that you can hear in your room. Loud loud loud. Did I mention it’s noisy?

Good spot stayed several times check is amazing.

Perfect location near everything.

*A few small issues with each room. Maintenance definitely needs to step it up before people start talking during season and paying big dollars.

From the valet to the hotel staff, I was extremely delighted. My welcome cocktail was delicious and the checkin was easy.

The room was nice, but the remote didn’t work so that had to replaced the same day and the room gave me a slight headache…. Not sure why - but I hadn’t planned on spending much time in there anyway.

The rooftop was nice despite on of the guys running it wasn’t very welcoming.

I love the art on alll the walls and the art related activities. The hotel is close to everything and easy walking to bars, restaurants, and other art galleries.

I will definitely be back

Gorgeous views from the minute you get to valet. Lobby of the hotel feel and looks like a spa. Clean white and modern decor. The rooftop was beautiful and the service was top notch

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was very good. Like the whole vibe of the property. Beautiful roof top bar and pool. Will be back when I am in the area again. One of the better hotel gyms I have used in a while.

The rooms were very nice. Shower water pressure was not that good. Lobby had horrible smell like someone dumped cheap gross smelling perfume and NO TVs in the lobby bar or on the rooftop bar! Smh!

Let's just say it's very well located, everything is pretty much in walking distance.

Special thanks to the shuttle drivers, Allen and Kevin! Made our stay very pleasant. Recommend hotel 110% except staff at pool need to do their job and clean up, offer hospitality-anything of that sort. Was a mess up there! No one at pool swimming and all but 6 chairs without used towels, cups and dishes, etc. Had to visit the bar to get and get a drink and rude Staff. It felt like the rooftop po on 8th floor wasn't event a Part of Art Ovation! Highly Recommend otherwise! We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Art Ovation Hotel. Kaydee at the roof top bar was just amazing. We connected over Taylor Swift and I was so excited to see her and chat daily. I can’t wait to come back to the hotel some day!

Typical hotel with hotel amenities. Location is near the marina to see the water and cute little shops around. Staff were informative and friendly! The rooms were decorated with artsy fun things like art book, ukulele, and artwork. Great rooftop pool!

10/10. East and affordable. Love the new renovations. Wish the roof had diff (not loud techno) music at night. Maybe a more chill vibe. Lots of college kids up there

Rooms are clean but bathroom had mold.
For services I would give 1 star. I booked Non handicapped room and they gave me handicapped and didn't even tell me. I had to msg them and ask them for room change and finally I got normal room. If you are Marriott gold, go to Diff hotel because they don't give upgrade. I would suggest to book westin Sarasota.they got good option for room and you get upgrade. The morning staff was super nice they help me with room change.

All the restaurant are right next to hotel so its easy to go out and walk around.they do provide shuttle services within 3 mile radius for free.and The best thing i like about hotel is that they give you ride to the beach and provide chair and umbrella for free.

Valet left my vehicle interior damaged. Hotel refuses to do anything about it. Wondering if there could be a lawsuit here since so many guests have had problems….

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Really, really good.
Great service, comfortable rooms with great use of space. Clean. The shuttle to and from places is worth every and many pennies.
This is a gem of quality service offered at a reasonable price which equals a miracle in these times). Very happy. I will be back.

We celebrated my 60th birthday there and I really must say that the service and friendliness of the staff was over the top! This is a first class hotel and in addition to the staff, they sent a bottle of champagne with chocolate covered strawberries to the room which was a nice touch. To top it off, the champagne was named St. Michelle, after my name:) I would highly recommend and we will be back!
