Associate could not look me in the eye when he was lying to me regarding availability. I can only imagine how these individual sales are accumulated and reported behind closed doors.

My new fiance surprised me with a beautifully crafted solitaire diamond ring from Arthur Yates & Sons. He told me they offered amazing service as he didn't really know too much about precious stones and ended up making multiple visits.

Since then, I've been back a few times - for sizing and a minor adjustment - and they've made me feel very welcome. I can confirm their service is amazing. I know I can be be a bit demanding sometimes!:)

I wanted to sell off my ex wives engagement ring and wedding band since the divorce was final. I read online this place has fair prices and treats people well. Someone must have been having a bad day. I brought the rings down to see how much they’d offer for the 2 white gold rings with diamond inlays. Yes the diamonds are small I know. The buyer takes out one ring looks it over with that eye thing and offers $100 for the ring he looked at and the one he never even took out of the box as well. He said they’d buy mostly for the gold. I have the original receipt that was maybe 4 cents on the dollar if my math is right. And he didn’t explain anything. He was nice enough to give me directions to two other places though. Not trying to get a better deal or even get a call. But you may want to think about this experience if you ever decide to even come near the door here.

I was selling some of my jewelry, and the experience at Yates was superb! They were extremely pleasant to work with and I was treated respectfully and fairly. I had been to a few places before them (2 pawn shops and another jeweler) to get a ballpark estimate on what my things were worth, and Yates offered me more than twice the amount of the other highest offer. I would highly recommend to anyone with nice jewelry they want to sell.

Took some gold coins to sell, promptly greeted and assisted right away. All questions were answered and prompt service was provided. Me Yates himself came over to look at the gold coins, however did not introduce himself or say anything.
Overall was an easy experience.

Customer service so nice. Usually I get looked like “one of those teenagers” Because I look young but here I didn’t feel the judgement. Went to various pawn shops and they tried to low ball me. I came here and they were so fair. Would highly recommend.
