I love a very unique and historic, full-service barbershop. Frank did a great job and was a very pleasant experience.

Very thankful I was recommended to visit Frank. I wouldn’t consider myself overly picky but having worked with some great barbers while living in other areas of the country certainly know what a good haircut does/doesn’t look like. After bouncing around several places once I moved to Tampa, it was clear after the first cut that Artisan’s Edge would be my new home. Highly recommend this barber, it’s a great experience as well.

Frank is excellent at what he does. He takes a picture of the haircut after you’re satisfied with it and saves it to your number, so when you come back it’s consistent every.single.time.

He’s an old school dude, so I can see how some of these reviews make him out to be rude. But he does have a lot of clients and he is the most respectful person to you once you get your haircut. When I first started going to him (2012) I had a similar experience, I called in expecting a same day appt.and he was firm on the phone and gave me one 2-3 weeks out. Was nervous about it because we all expect the white glove service all the time. But once I went in everything was for the best. This old wood decor, to old school classic music, to his tuxedo that is never out of place. He is a true professional.

Listen to all the 5 star reviews take his Cuban hard working attitude with a grain of salt and relax a bit. Once you’re in you’ll love every time you go in. As for the price.go somewhere else and get 1 bad haircut for $12 and tell me how you feel. He’s a master barber and deserves every penny. You’re the man Frank!

May be the best barber in Tampa, but let’s be honest, it’s just a haircut. Not worth being condescended to while trying to set up an appointment (after you walked by a closed shop with a locked door in the middle of the day). Respect yourself, and find someone who treats you with respect.

The best haircut I have received since I moved to Florida in 2002. The owner, Frank, is a gentleman and a true old world barber with an excellent eye and fantastic skills. A truly great barbershop.

Great place, true Barber experience and customer service. I would recommended Artisan's to anyone no matter what type of hair style you have. Frank is a master Barber and someone you will want to go back to over and over again.

Let me start off by saying this is not your ordinary barber shop, frank handles your hair with percision as if he was a sergeant, he's by far the best barber in town hands down. Not to mention he's a funny guy that will keep you cracking up then at the split of a second drop some real knowledge. If your looking for the old school feel of exclusivity and elegance this place is for you. The only problem is after you come here you will be disappointed anytime you get a haircut somewhere else!

I've been getting my hair cut at Frank's since he opened up shop 7 years ago, he's the best in Tampa Bay hands down. He has a large and loyal client base, so book your appointment in advance. There's no one else in the area I'd trust at this point. If you're looking for a barber, I would very highly recommend Frank.

Just as the majority of reviews have stated. Frank is the best Barber in Tampa, probably in Florida. On top of that he runs a very authentic classic shop. I highly recommend making an appointment with him and enjoying a great haircut, his cool personality and a very high end experience at a reasonable price.

Good at cutting hair, but he will cut your hair the way HE likes. Too expensive (even with student discount) and the last time I was there he acted very very unprofessionally.

I walked over in the rain and found a locked door. The barber was inside and simply pointed at the sign outside, which read "by appointment only".

He wouldn't even give me the courtesy of opening he door, making me stand in the rain. Needless to say, I won't be calling for an appointment.

When I moved from Manhattan last year I was in need of barber. I was lucky my girlfriend suggested Artisan's Edge because of the great reviews it had and how close it was to my work downtown. I can say this without any uncertainty, that Frank is the best barber I have ever had. When you book an appointment with Frank, you are the only other person in the barbershop with him. He spends close to a full hour making sure your haircut is perfect, while also making great conversation. If you get a haircut from here, you will not be disappointed. I consider Frank not only my barber now, but my friend.

Today is the first time I have been to see Frank and I do not plan on taking my business anywhere else. I have been looking for someone like him for quite some time. The haircut and experience is worth much more than what he actually charges. I feel honored to be his client.

This is the best barber around. The business name is accurate, Frank is a true artist. In a day where everything is fast and cheap, be reminded, you get what you pay for. To get a haircut here is a gentleman's experience, from the hot towel to the straight edge shave and everything in between. You show up at your scheduled time, are brought in to the shop, where you are the only client. There is 100% attention given to your haircut and it shows. I called for an appointment before my daughter's wedding and every time I look at the photos, I am thankful for the haircut I received from Frank. He'll make you look good.
