If I could give less than one star, I would. The nursing staff has gone completely downhill! My mother has been utilizing St. Catherine's care for rehabilitation/PT for years when she has had surgery. She has gone THREE days without medications she needs literally every single day. Some of them more than once. She has a PICC line that she is supposed to be receiving antibiotics from. Transferred to the facility and three days later she's still not receiving the antibiotics? So I guess it's okay to just let her go septic? Also, they not so wonderful nurse, Karen lectured her on not calling them when they do reports. My mother has been a nurse for over 30 years. You better believe she never told them not to call her when she is reporting.

She told Karen "If I don't call you, I will pee myself and I don't want to do that. " In which Karen told her that is to be expected. My mother should not have to worry about soiling herself because a nurse has to stop doing her reports to take care of her well-being. It is literally your job. Then explains to her that this would be the case anywhere she went, I know for a fact that is untrue. Is this really okay to treat patients like this?

My grandmother had cancer, she was sent there from st Vincent hospital, the day she when in she was joking and talking, 6 hours after arriving there she when in to full cardiac arrest and died a few days later, i dont know what had happen but i think something was done to her there, this happen in nov 2011, she remained in a coma like status until her death, i really think something happen to her there, Also when we when to claim her stuff her stuff was giving away to other patients, even a fan i we brought her was taken to the nurses station, i would had not mind that her stuff was given to people who needed it but they should have ask, i have a very negative view of this place and after what happen i wouldnt suggest anyone to have their relative taken to this place.

Great facility and people. I think sometimes they could use a bigger budget for more staff but they really make an amazing difference in people's lives. We visit regularly and it's always very clean and the staff are wonderful. I forget yhe one lady who helped us with an issue had, but she was extremely helpful and cared.

So far, St. Catherine’s nurses and CNAs have proven to be very caring and supportive of my mother, who has advanced dementia.

When my grandmother needed her pain medicine, she could never get it on time. She had to wheel herself to the nurse station to remind them that she needed it. When time came to release her, they refused and said the person responsible for signing a release form wasn't even there. My grandma felt like she was being held hostage. The food was usually cold. They also ignored her call button most times, as well as her roommate's. They called all CNAs into two meetings, one an hour and a half long and the next 45 minutes long leaving the nurses to have to tend to everyone by themselves. Poor management is ruining this place. As nice and charming as this facility appears, I would not recommend it to anyone.

Really bad place they lie on how long your love one is going to be here the staff doesn't do a good job they don't make sure that anyone needs medical attention from a real hospital they don't call you to let you know how your loved one is doing they expect you to wait for them to get out of board meetings everyday just to try and figure out anything I wish I could give this place a lower amount of stars because it deserves way lower than 1

My grandmother needed care and we placed her in St. Catherine's hoping she would be given that care. Sadly she was not. In truth, I'm not sure there is a nursing home that provides quality care anymore. St. Catherine's is a beautiful and clean building. They have a great therapy department. There really is a lot of potential but there aren't enough caring CNAs/nurses to make it happen. Don't get me wrong, there are good people working there but they are few. My grandmother's experience was traumatic despite having advocates. She was humiliated on multiple occasions. She experienced skin breakdown and was told they do not change people before meals. She ate dinner sitting in her own urine just about every meal and in her own feces twice. Everyday she was there was horrendously stressful for my family and myself. We all live out of town and were in constant worry for her well being. She became very depressed. I'm so glad she made it out.

Our grandmother was here and now we’re reviewing places for our aunt. But recently we discovered that one person in particular [FALLON EVANS] is still there so we said no. No way. This person had very minimal knowledge, was extremely unprofessional, rude, heartless, constantly used profanity even the worse words, shockingly the one that starts with N. We were shocked that they allowed this behavior. We were more appalled last week to find out this person is still employed there. Most of us relocated to TX so we can’t risk it. That person’s behavior and attitude completely overshadowed some of the great staff there. Some of those staff members really care about their patients. But sorry we just can’t do it.

I am Katherine Carter’s uncle, and I called the executive director twice over two days (the most recent call was at midday yesterday) and have yet to receive a reply.

I have been to St Catherine's many times over the years with my In Laws and now with my own mother and it is always very clean and the staff is amazing. When we hit the call button they come in a reasonable amount of time even if they can't help right that second they still come and see what you need and then see whoever needs help first but you never feel forgotten like at other rehab centers we have been sent to. We all but begged to get sent to St Catherine's for my mother rehab for her spinal surgery she had Monday. We were given a list that had many many facilities on it and there is no where that is better than St Catherine's. I'm so grateful they had an open bed and even more grateful that my mother is now in it. Thank you to all the dedicated amazing staff at St Catherine's I am so happy my mother is with you. I can rest easy tonight knowing my momma is in capable loving hands.

This place used to be amazing. But now it’s like every place else. Cold food, takes an hour or more to get medications.
The staff is nice but they are just extremely short staffed.
The doctor must be half deaf because he really knows how to use his outside voice. But he must be good because and I quote, I’m the doctor.
But on a footnote, there are some great Pokémon go spots.
The view is amazing. It’s prime real estate right on the river.

The staff can be very lazy on most days! Giving my mother her meds and dropping some on the floor and leaving them their for me to find. I take pics and show them to the Head of nursing. But you still have to wonder if she is receiving all of her meds? And when I do complain about there neglect! They want to get argumentative! When they know their doing wrong! The nursing on my mother's floor when you call to make sure her needs are being met will hangup and refuse to answer the phone! Making me get in my car and drive over to the facility to make sure my mother is safe and well.how sad and careless! I can go on and on about the neglect in St Catherine's. Some of the stuff can be good and very helpful but the bad one's make you loose focus on the good! Wow after reading all the bad reviews about this place and I've seen and been throw myself with them maybe I better get my mother out of their! And also call the State of Florida health department!

My visit to see a friend was pleasant today. I am very impressed about the safety coming into the facility as well as leaving the facility. I would like to know if it is possible to have all the residents be able to purchase a morning newspaper. Is it possible that this could be done and those that want to purchase one could receive one. Do the facility give out birthday cards to recognize them on there birthday. That would be nice. But otherwise for cleanliness and friendliness I give you high ratings.

I worked there thru agency since February and when I tried to contact the DON Rachel to tell her about the conditions of the facility, staff and poor treatment to the residents. She did not respond. I called the Values hotline and went to several people to let them know of the conditions. They lack integrity, compassion, care, faith, patient care, patience, communication and the list goes on. It's been a month and no A/C for some of the residents. Once I started speaking out about the inhumane conditions. I was reprimanded in the aspect of termination of my contract and to top it off the withheld my last paycheck. They will not even respond to my agency for verification of pay. I hate that patient care has turned to this. God bless those patients. The staff are there for money but the love of profession has dwindled.

So just visited a very sweet 90 year old friend who is rehabbing here. This place was warm and inviting, clean and smelled nice! She was well attended to and looked better than ever! They seem well staffed and she said she was able to sleep soundly there. So happy!

NEVER HAVE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! They will lie and try to take your lived ones money through financial services. As long as Wade Taylor is the Director nothing will change. He had 2 certified letters on his desk and never responded to our concerns during Covid! They will try to ruin your loved ones finances so they can benefit. BEWARE!

All the employees and caregivers here have been friendly and helpful. I feel my friend is getting very good care here. I also like that they have been patient with me and all my questions!
