Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent's Primary Care - Oakleaf reviews
18 My daughter was supposed to start a new prescription on Wednesday. We went to the pharmacy at 4: 45pm they advised they have no prescriptions on file. I called the doctors office and the lady told me it could take 72 hours for them to get it. That is not correct. I questioned that since I work in an office that prescribes medications daily and our prescriptions go through immediately. She then told me to call back in 5 minutes. I made her aware of the time and that their office will be closing soon. She said yeah call back in 5 minutes. So I called back and she said yes the prescription was sent in. I checked with pharmacy again and they had not received anything. I waited until 6pm and checked with the pharmacy again, still nothing. The pharmacy was closed for Thanksgiving. I called Friday and Saturday the pharmacy still has nothing on file. This office completely failed something so simple for them such as calling in a prescription and left my daughter without needed medication. Monday I will call again 6 days later with hopes we can get actually get her
prescription.
Dr Divine has been my PCP for almost 10 yrs now and asked him to be my son’s PCP and he willingly accepted and he said he loves to take care of family. Very professional and proactive when it comes to your care. Staffs are very nice and pleasant and most of all, they are very professional. Great job…
Dr Divine and his staff are the best. Every time you go you have a good experience even when you get bad news, because Dr. Divine will do their best in getting you what you need. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
The whole staff is there to help you in anyway that they can. Dr Osbourne is the best. Thank you for helping me to get healthy.
This review is specifically towards my experience regarding the team handling prescriptions. I wish I had better words but they’re terribly slow and disorganized. My husband has type 2 diabetes and is/was on ozempic and trying to get this office to fill out the necessary form to send to our insurance company or now, change his medication due to the shortage has been a nightmare. This office takes literally 10 days minimum to do anything and my husband has been over a month without his prescription for diabetes because of how slow this office responds to their patient’s needs. We’re switching to Baptist as we’re tired of paying urgent care fees for things this office should be doing. If you have urgent medical needs, please steer clear of this office because they’ll take their sweet time helping you.
Nothing to share that's not already known, From the moment I walked in. To the minute I left to head to the hospital. Everyone was attentive, caring, informative, and calming. Which is what should be the standard for "any" medical visit regardless of the urgency or lack of. As a senior citizen a trip to the doctor is concerning. At "everyone" at Oakleaf went above and beyond.
I was really impressed with the service overall. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. I really was amazed by My Doctor Ms. Louis she's Awesome.
Good doctor that listens to my concerns. I feel like an actual patient rather than just a number on my medical chart.
Had suspicion of a ear infection I go in and was told “no infection just looks like pressure must be allergies” then prescribed me allergy medicine after i told her i dont have allergies. Anyways my ear got worse so i visited a urgent care where they said i do in fact have an ear infection… annoying to be misdiagnosed and not even told what i had going on in my ear.
Dr Divine is great, nurses are fabulous, service is nice also. Everyone there very helpful.
My experience was very good, welcome received with a smile. Service professional with Love.
Thanks
My first visit was a very nice and comforting. Everyone from the front to the back was kind and friendly. I saw the Nurse Practioner; Andjie Louis. She was amazing. She was kind, patient and thorough. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions and I felt cared about. I am happy and grateful to have found this medical practice.
Excellent experience. Great visit from beginning to end. The staff was great and Dr Devine is terrific.
This was my first visit at this location. I was extremely pleased with Dr. Odigie. She has a great bedside manner and asked many questions while reviewing my records. The staff is very friendly. I’m very happy that I changed to this location.
I won’t be back to the St. Vincent’s system. The lack of empathy shown by PA James Osborne to someone in distress could have been life threatening to another person. Seems to be the going theme with a lot of physicians within St. Vincent’s. Absolutely appalling. Do better.
Andgie Louis, APRN was very personable and thorough Answered all of my questions and gave referrals for extended care needed Hope to see her my next appt
Carol is rude and not sympathetic and makes curt remarks. I do not recommend coming to this office. The staff will not treat you kindly or with care.
The office manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional, to the point that the nurse apologized on her behalf once we were alone. Dr. Odigie was super friendly and I enjoyed seeing her. My only complaint was that I wish treatment would have been more proactive. I was immediately put on medication with no real inquiry into underlying issues or guidance on how to correct the issue naturally. Also, I was told when I first came here to message in the portal with any questions or concerns but yet every time I did I received no response. I liked Dr. Odigie well enough that I would have continued coming here, however, the office manager's behavior was bad enough that I decided to find another provider.
