Asian House reviews
19Purchased egg fu young, hot sour soup, seafood delight, and egg drop wan ton soup all was delicious and staff was very friendly!
When I picked up this order the staff was friendly and the restaurant was about half full. Half of our order was wonderful but the other half was not. Everything that was fried was extremely over cooked and inedible. For example the sweet & sour chicken was so hard you couldn’t bit into it, crab rangoon filling gone from over frying with burnt wantons. Not sure whats going on with to-gos but this is the 3rd time we’ve received chicken like this so from now on we will dine inside instead of ordering togo.
The sushi is always great, the ramen bowls are great, and it's the only place my husband can find peanut butter chicken that is yummy. They alway are so nice when we dine.
Food pretty good. Some prices not so good. I understand the increase but the portion was small.
Arrived about 20 mins before closing and could only purchase to go.could not eat in.
They slyly added at 20% service tip fee in the bill and then asked for tip. I couldn’t stomach the soup because it tasted like dirty sink water. The food tasted dirty and like it was heated up frozen food. Our server didn’t come around or do much then added that 20% and it ended up being $23 for a small combination meal (12.93) and drink (2 something). Not pleased and I won’t be coming here again, and would not suggest it. I am very very upset, I did not have the budget to spend 23 dollars on a small dinner.
Can never say enough good things about this place! Love the owners and the staff. Food is always delicious and served perfectly.
Food here is excellent, and so far the service is good. I'm continuing to come back with the family!
Update: 5/1/23 Unfortunately this place has taken a turn for the worse. The food is still good tasting. However I’ve gotten food poisoning twice now and the restaurant was closed temporarily for rodent infestation not too long ago. I’ve also spotted a cockroach. I am afraid I will have to start dining somewhere else for Chinese food.
Best Asian/Chinese food I've had in a long while. Good pricing and friendly staff. Thank you for being my new go-to spot.
They only thing I've tried from there is their spring rolls. And they are delicious! I suspect their other food is good too.
So we wanted to go grab a quick bite on a nice Friday night. Arrived at 8: 30pm. Was greeted with “Sir we close at 9: 30”? ? So…. Why close the dining room before the restaurant is closed? That was possibly the most idiotic greeting ever. ️ needless to say we went to the next establishment. Thanks for nothing.
The food used to be the best in town. Ever since they hired a new chef, it's like nothing can go right. The sushi falls apart, and the platters are about as seasoned as English food. The fish is frozen, and the place is inhabited on weekdays with loud crackheads accusing each other of theft.
I used to go to school with some people that work here, and they look like they haven't felt a moment's peace in years. Please stop enslaving your family members
Typically when you order chicken and veggies tempura it comes with a variety of vegetables not this place I had the whole green pepper. And 3 chicken half tenders, also ordered super California roll i didnt expect such tiny rolls the cucumbers was just the skins, (Publix $8 dollar sushi is better then this place) i definitely will steer clear from this place.
I was expecting great things by the glowing reviews. I always order something basic on a first visit to. Chinese Restaurant. I ordered Chow Mein and it really wasn't very good. Maybe the cook was off that night or something. I've had better at the takeaway places. Not impressed at all.
So five years later…. I’m not sure what changed (chef?) but I’ve changed my two star review to five stars! My kid and I ordered from the Japanese side of the menu and we were thoroughly impressed! The Chinese dishes that we saw go by as we waited looked and smelled wonderful too! Glad Asian House has improved so much! Bravo!
I had really high hopes for this place. I thought that since it wasn't a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall, their food would be more toward the quality of PF Changs than that of #1 China Hut. I honestly think this food is worse than the strip mall Chinese food. It was bland, the chicken had too much breading, the portion size was adequate not great and nothing tasted fresh. I will not be back.
Looks can be deceiving, on the outside this place doesn’t catch eyes, or look that great, but the interior is fairly nice and clean. Great service, very friendly. I got the dragon roll, VERY different from standard dragon roll but in a good way.
My order consisted of one dragon roll one order of fried gyoza a sweet tea and a milk tea to go for a close out of $26.38 / 31.66 after tip. Prices are decent, not cheap but not downtown expensive either. To owner: Put some love into the exterior of building. Camera wires hanging, run down look.
If the exterior was as clean as inside you’d get a lot more new customer flow.
I only came in today because on of my friends recommendation here. But glad I did, I’ll be back for more. 4/5 stars THANK YOU - Mason
This is amazing. 10/10 would definitely recommend going there. Sushi quality is amazing and fresh. The prices are also very reasonable. My family and I were very satisfied.
I’ve been here twice and will never go there again not because of the food, although overpriced, the food isn’t horrible, but the service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. The server spilled eel sauce on her and instead of apologizing she told her not to worry about it as if expecting her to clean up her mess. Then on top of this she tried to charge extra for the same sauce that she spilled on her (which she obviously never got to even have any sauce as she was wearing it) When I asked to speak with a manager the server told me “no” multiple times until she realized I wasn’t going to pay extra for sauce that she spilled on my niece. The manager tried to explain that there is an extra charge on the sauce again without acknowledging that the sauce was spilled on her. Then the manager even went as far as to comment on my nieces clothing in front of us. The service was horrible and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever be back, we all make mistakes but trying to make someone pay extra for sauce you spilled on them is just disgusting.
Sweet and sour shrimp.
Shrimp had more breading than you can imagine, but so hard to chew. The shrimp was the smallest I've ever seen.
Best Chinese food I've had in years! Stopped while visiting KSC, and I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. We dined in, and the seating and atmosphere is good. They also do a great takeout business. We ordered Bourbon Chicken and Chicken with Cashews, and both were excellent. They also have a solid sushi menu, but I can't speak to that.
