Legit worst birthday party experience.

1st- my party was scheduled to start at 12: 30 at 12: 10-15 when trying to enter the skating ring to set up I was told that my tables were not ready and I needed to wait outside or pay to enter early… My kids were not allowed to start skating just 15 minutes early. We needed to wait outside then by the time it was 1230 and time for us to enter most of my party guest had already shown up, and I had nothing set up… by the time it was my turn to enter there was three parties in line and at least 30 people in the line to get through the door meaning a wait.

2nd- When I called to schedule my party it was horrible! You can only call to schedule parties on certain days they take your name and phone number and tell you they will call you back but I had to call them two or three times to be able to schedule… I asked if I was going to receive an email verification that I had put a deposit down and had a scheduled party but I received no acknowledgment or confirmation.

3rd- I told them I would be bringing my own tablecloths plates and cups when scheduling. There was no need to put party supplies down… When I was able to enter into the skating rink, they were just placing plates on the table. I told the manager there was no need to continue doing that. I brought my own stuff and didn’t want to see it wasted. I was then told I had to keep that stuff on the table. Just put my stuff on top of it… What a waste? The tables are way too close together, and I received one long table for 23 children… There’s just no set up time and parties are scheduled to close together.

4th- Food…. What food? I was supposed to receive 3 pizzas for the kids and I ordered an additional 3 pizzas for adults. My party started at 12: 30 and about 1: 15 PM I had to go to the counter and ask them for drinks because I still did not receive any… At 2 PM. I finally received one pizza which was cold and undercooked. I had to spend my whole entire party walking back-and-forth checking on food Receiving one pizza at a time… Every single time I needed soda refills I had to go to the refreshment station and get them myself. It doesn’t make sense to me that you cannot bring outside food in. Are these kids really supposed to just eat pizza? Why can’t you bring in chips or a fruit bowl… It takes forever to get your pizza if you get it at all! There was not one adult at the refreshment center. It is a bunch of teenagers, who just don’t know what they’re doing… Totally not their fault.

I never received all the things that they talk about. There was no party attendant. I set up my own cake and cupcakes, I cut my own cake did my own candles filled all of the cups with soda over and over again distributed pizza myself, and clean the table… while I was in the process of cutting my kids cake one of the young girls came up to me and told me she was ready to take my payment… we never received anything like bounce house, time or hairspray or anything like that… I have had parties all over Palm Beach County at entertainment places like this, and I have never spent so much money and receive such a horrible party! $436 for what?

Music was pretty good and the skate ring itself was fun but, the food… the fryer wasn’t working and I was in line to get food for nearly 30 minutes.kitchen needs to be better. The person helping me was very nice and it wasn’t her fault

The food court here is a disaster and unsanitary. They're disorganized and don't seem to understand how to work efficiently with the demand.

They also don't have a system for what people have ordered and are waiting on.
For example, I ordered a pizza and was told it would be a while and was given a buzzer. I waited for 30 minutes and when I went to check on it they were running around trying to fulfill randomly the orders people were shouting at them and had no idea mine was even on their queue. I appreciate them returning my money, though!

Astro Palm Beach is amazing. I love coming here for adult night. Great music and crowd. Staff and management really make you feel like family here. Big time recommend!

Adult night was all around amazing. The rink looks great, the floor is great. Met the owner and he is truly one of the coolest humans I’ve met in a long time. He truly cares about his rinks, his employees and his patrons. Had a great conversation really enjoyed meeting him. Wish him all the success in the world. Diane is doing a fabulous job as well!

Staff was nice and friendly. Kids had a great time and parents enjoyed themselves as well. Lauren was my hostess and she was outstanding!

Only reason they didn’t get a 5 star is because the party package described on the site didn’t quite align with what we actually got - party table not a party room, bounce house, face painting, hair spray we didn’t get, they are called over a loud speaker and you’re party is supposed to go to the station when it’s announced. Kind of hard to hear that over the music and kids screaming. A couple of other items missing such as points & tshirt.

Loved that they had security.

The skating rink has a policy that is unfortunate in renting out the pcv helpers first come first served. Seems fair except there is no waitlist for when they are unavailable allowing those who come in later to rent them ahead of people, like in our case waiting for over an hour for one.

I had an overall great experience at Astro Skate. The new renovations are really nice, great floor, cool wall art, and fun lighting. The line to get in was about 5 minutes long for me which was good and the lady you pay at the front was super nice! Staff at the roller skate rental spot were awesome - they were really fast with servicing people and knew exactly what size you needed. Since this was my first time visiting, I asked if I could try on a size 7 and they gave me a size 6 because they knew their sizes ran large and what do you know: it fit perfectly! On the rink was a little nerve racking because of how crowded it was and there were a lot of experienced skaters going pretty fast around me. Got bumped into a few times and had some kids I didn't know holding onto my arm as they passed by but other than that I really enjoyed skating here. They played cool remixed music and had a neat session for shuffle skating. Security seemed on top of things tonight which was really nice, and staff were wonderful to me and other customers. It was my niece’s birthday. It was really cute and for her and 9 other friends. 5: 30 to 8 ran me about $200 that included skates and food and my niece got some free points to get something out the prize shop

They need better music, need to control all the people who are skating too fast because their are people who can’t skate, too many people falling and bumping into each other.

Took forever just to get in the door, half of the games were out of order, waited entirely too long for service at the snack bar, there was no one at the prize counter to take my credits and then even after being told they would be right with us they still never showed and finally the girl came to help us pick our prizes, and lastly the cost of everything is just insane- $1 refill for fountain soda? Especially after standing in line for several minutes and wasting skate time just to get charged for a refill is ridiculous. Charging people for the walkers is also just horrible, “oh you can’t skate safely, let’s charge you $5” … never coming back, I’d rather skate in an outside rink or literally anywhere else. I can make my own PVC walker on wheels, thanks.

Happy to see Atlantis saved by Astro and renovated.

But this was the most poorly ran snack bar I have ever seen.

45 min wait just to get to the cashier to order a drink and there were only 4 parties ahead of me.

Step up your service and efficiency so we can enjoy skating instead of waiting smh

Other than that, good job on renovation. The place looks great.

Very nice people nice clean facility granddaughter loves going there to take the skating lessons

Very nice staff. My little one is 3 years old and taking lessons. Instructors are patient and kind.
