Athena Greek Street Diner (Jukebox Diner), Pompano Beach FL

My local favorite. I have brought my disabled mother here many times for breakfast and lunch and I have quite honestly never been disappointed. The service is excellent, the staff and ownership make guests feel genuinely welcome. The food is high quality and incredibly consistent. I would recommend this place to anyone in the pompano/ft lauderdale area.

Amazing breakfast, probably the best I’ve had in the area! I definitely recommend the skillets, both me and my boyfriend had one—absolutely delicious!

We come here all the time, from the moment our daughter was only couple month old (she is 14 month old now) and we really love this place. Delicious food, excellent service, perfect location, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended

The owner Helen has such an attitude and is very rude it’s not even funny. I was sitting one time eating and this lady and her daughter went to the restroom and a light tile feel on her head and of course no matter what it is light or not the owner should have asked if her daughter was okay when the mom told her about it she just said it’s fine it’s a light tile and kept serving other customers the mother started crying I am assuming it’s because she couldn’t believe how rude the owner was to her and once they decided to leave the owner went outside to tell them they left something which they didn’t she started being rude and acting out at them again that even one of her workers had to pick her up to take her inside.

Now today I was served a gyro and it was cold, fatty, rough pieces and when I told her she was rude and had an attitude for no reason and started arguing saying that she doesn’t understand she saw it come out they have different size pieces and how the meet may be different every time and to be honest it didn’t even taste like gyro to start off with so then she had an attitude to take it off the bill once my mom had to ask her instead of her saying it to us since she noticed we didn’t eat our food she should have known, but in the end she just took mine off since I ate one less bite then my mom did even though we were complaining about both of our foods. She even said that she asked me twice which she did but the first time I wasn’t even started since I was on my phone writing a quick email and the second time there was only one piece bitten out of it which was basically me eating the lettuce and tomatoes and then afterwards I told the waitress not long after that being when everything else started.

To know that we have been customers of hers since she was affiliated next to holy cross and she has this attitude and rudeness is just sad she needs to take a class on how to treat her customers right because without us she wouldn’t have a business.

Food is very good. California Eggs Benedict was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Prices are reasonable. This is a place you must go to if you’re in the area.

Beware that the parking lot is a Pompano Beach public lot, and the city patrols it closely. You aren’t allowed to back into spots and saw numerous people getting tickets for this.

Phenomenal food and service with a variety of gluten free options to boot! My father-in-law has discriminating taste and he loved his order of Corned Beef Hash and sausage gravy. My husband devoured his quiche and side of super fresh fruit. I got the Grammy Winning Special with eggs that were cooked to perfection, along with gluten free pancakes, which were great. We also ordered a side of the most incredible breakfast potatoes we've ever had!

Very clean, efficient and an overall wonderful experience that will make this gem a new staple for breakfast and lunch when we're visiting the area again.

Had a salad with grilled chicken, sat outside in the shade. Service and food were great. Prices very reasonable. Felt like a good value. Will be back again.

Ordered food, Potatoes came with a small stone in them. Almost broke my tooth. When I brought it up the Server, I was told I wouldn't be charged extra for it! Second time I have been to this Establishment there will not be a 3rd. Steer clear of this place.

First time here for breakfast and everything was delicious. Will definitely be returning soon.

Had a great day bagel and lox this morning, cc, let, tom and capers on the side. Double toasted bagel just like I asked for. I will go back and recommend to a friend.

A more warm and welcoming environment then one usually finds in South Florida, Jukebox Diner does not disappoint. Their recent renovations are on trend, table seating is spacious for the cautious diner. Irish eggs Benedict were fantastic as well as the spinach and feta omelet. However, the breakfast potatoes must be given their own review, phenomenal!

My family and I are visiting Pompano Beach from New York. We chose to eat at this restaurant and I am very happy that we did. This is one of the best diners that I have ever eaten at. The staff is extremely friendly, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the breakfast burger, and it was delicious. My plate and my family’s plates were completely empty after eating here. The vibes are immaculate and it is a great place for breakfast or brunch!
