Atlantic Self Storage, Callahan FL

The front desk staff are very friendly and polite, good people. They answer questions via phone or email quickly and fully. The company itself, terrible. Unless locked into a contract, rates change with no real notice (less than 30 days) often. If you sign a contract, you pay a penalty for leaving early.

STAY AWAY! Purchased this unit April 2020. Roughly six months later, my rate was increased. I spoke with management ("Beth"), and she could not tell me why. I asked if she foresee any more increases in the year she could not give me a definite answer. My patronage would have ceased that day. Well.lookie here.just got an email from them today (Sunday Mar 7) that states my rates are going up again. So in one year (Apr 2020 to Apr 2021), two price increases at a total of 57%. Guess we trying to capitalize on stimulus checks, can't fault them for that. Not recommending this company to anyone. EVER. Use another company.

Stopped by to inquire about renting a unit. I stored here years ago and enjoyed the staff. They didn't have the size I needed but Lena and Elliot were very kind and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing a storage shed. 5 stars from me!

We have a unit there and the staff there is some of the NICEST people we have ever met. Callahan needs more people like them

Very disappointed in the Callahan location. Have two units there and one is climate controlled. The a/c has been out since early May. No idea on the date of repair. Still paying the same and our furnishings are cooking. Very unlike the usual treatment at other Atlantic Self Storage locations. There is no customer service, just excuses. Would not recommend renting there.

Disgusting the way my daughter was treated tonite. She is current on rent. Code access was accepted to enter. Gets to her unit. Lock has been changed. Confronted "management". Was in the process of calling NCSO. Woman admitted my daughter was current. Man changed lock. Someone snuck out side door, replaced her lock, which was put on backwards. Previous management was great to deal with. Will think twice before I recommend this place.

Unfortunately I used to love the property manager at this location (been renting for well over a year). Since the new people have moved in I have had nothing but issues, including the fact that I had to threaten to call the police on them. Well they are a power trip company and have now non-renewed me due to their incompetencies. I have things missing from my unit, they’ve placed one of their locks on my unit & are very unprofessional. I will not recommend them to anyone, at least while the current people are there. Spend your money somewhere that they are competent enough to do their job & appreciate a quiet paying customer.

The staff here was very nice. They made sure that we got our storage unit taken care of and that we could get in and out of the facility easily and knew the codes for the gates. I feel like their prices were fair and the facilities were clean and well protected.
