6The Auburndale Trail is of an extended trail system. The Auburndale Trail, Auburndale Teco Trail, and the Van Fleet Trail is over 50 miles in length. This section of the trail is thru Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. The are several large parking lots. The sport's complex have multiple soccer and baseball field. Multiple locations for restrooms. Highly recommended for walking or running.
Nice place to walk or ride bike. The parking lot has bathrooms and water fountain. Is very close to my store so hopefully I can take my clients to do some cardio before
Great trail, lots of shade and runs alongside a large park. This trailhead has full facilities including a water bottle refill station and lots of parking. If you're going north you do have to cross a 4-lane divided highway with no traffic signals or flashing pedestrian beacons, so use caution. The trail connects to the longer Van Fleet state trail in Polk City.
Great trail even better dog park. Dog park has separate sides for different sizes. Lots of land to run around and benches and chairs for the owners. They even have a little pool area for the dogs to cool down in!
Very well maintained smooth trail. Didn't see any wildlife at all.
It's got very little shade. Be prepared for the sun!
First time riding my E-Bike there, it's a beautiful rural trail that takes you to Van Fleet Trail in Polk City which goes another 29 miles. I'll be going there again.
