Avalon Heights, Tampa FL

Had a great tour of the place, it’s very nice. Shout out to the tour guide Jared, you did awesome!

I currently live at Avalon and have since August of 2021. I have yet to have an issue with anything, I really like it here.

Moved here from 4050 where I didn’t have such a good time but I’ve been extremely satisfied with Avalon, gym is pretty decent, neighbours are lit, pool is sweet and hot tub is a nice touch. Staff is helpful especially my boy Jared. Only thing I wish for is that the games room stay open late.

I been looking for a house for a while and been stress out about it but Jared made it less stressful with his excellent customer service

Avalon Heights is a circus being fronted as an apartment complex. They consistently find ways to work against residents by creating fees out of nothing and claiming they don't know the origin of utility charges so that they can justify charging extra at the start of each month. They frequently close amenities for weeks at a time and take months, literally months, to fix any maintenance issue. Once the elevator was down for 6 weeks and after it finally becoming operational, it broke again a week later. Avalon Heights does not have the interests of residents at heart for any decision.

Was looking for a place to stay and had some questions to ask. An employee named Jared was straightforward and gave me all the information I needed. I will definitely consider moving to Avalon.

Apartment hunting has been very stressful for me but i spoke to Jared at Avalon and he was incredibly helpful. My mind has been made up!

Horrible representation of ACC! The constant lies and falsified information is ridiculous! No one cares for the residents, they’re solely looking for a cash out! Some CA’s are compassionate and understanding but that’s a rarity! Management is pure trash! Let’s not discuss our GM & AGM hooking up w/ one another on property! Avalon Heights, PLEASE DO BETTER!

I needed help understanding how the automatic payments worked, jared at the front office helped me tons and helped me understand where I needed to go online

The workers were very patient with the numerous amounts of questions I had, and very polite. The apartments are very nice and are at good rates. Victoria H.helped me out so much with giving me a tour and answering my questions with details. I am looking forward to living there soon.

During my lunch break I went to the bullmarket to pick up a quick snack and I noticed a booth was setup nearby representing Avalon apartments. Out of boredom i checked it out, the staff there (Jared) was very informative on the apartment rates and mentioned the many great amenities Avalon has to offer. I definitely will be taking a tour in the near future at Avalon apartments!

I was looking for housing for next year, and Jared helped a lot with the questions I had. I am thinking about considering Avalon due to him informing me about the asc in the back. Can’t wait for next year!

So I’m not a resident there or anything (at least not yet) but I was looking for a nice student housing near the area. Out of all the places I went to, Avalon was the best. First and foremost I wanna give a shoutout to Victoria. She is just awesome. She gave me a fantastic tour. I highly recommend avelon heights and If you’re looking to speak to someone, Victoria is the one for ya.

This apartment complex is extremely low tier for the amount that they are charging to live here. They take advantage of students that don’t know any better and over charge for these terrible units. The rooms are not spacious at all, the apartment you get does not look like the apartment they show. The leasing office is run by little kids that know nothing about the real world, they just do what their told. Maintenance is terrible. They have mold in their vents. Parking is garbage. Elevators don’t work. They charge you for anything and everything even when it’s not your fault. They will slip random charges onto your account and no one will call and tell you it’s there. They don’t have the capability to show you your units utility bill, probably because they’re lying about how much they’re charging. They are unethical leaches that deserve no business.

NEVER SIGN A LEASE HERE
The office staff lie and take advantage of college students. They overcharge and randomly charge you for things that are not your fault. They won’t call you to tell you what you’ve charged for. They sneak in charges on your account and make up lies trying to validate it. All of the staff are incompetent. The units are tiny and roach infested. They have mold in their ac units and refuse to properly clean them out so expect to get sick constantly throughout the semester.they are terrible landlords that overcharge for a terrible living situation and old dusty furniture. If you want to live near USF campus pick ANYWHERE but this retched place.

I come into the office a lot to pick up packages and ask questions and Steph is always really helpful and friendly! She’s very kind and always helps me as soon as I come in.

I spoke to Jared when I did tours of apartments near campus and he was so helpful and enthusiastic that it made Avalon one of my top choices for next semester!
