Avis Car Rental, Hialeah FL

If I can put 0 stars I would, l made a reservation on 3/5/21 for 3/9/21 for a large van. Upon my arrival the person at the front told me they didn’t have any vans available. The person in the front (Martin) didn’t even bother trying to help me or give me a good explanations he kept repeating they just didn’t have any vans.
At no point did he even try to help me locate any other possibilities. My family trip was ruined and we had to find other resources. Keep away from renting a car here you will probably end up with no car and having to change all your plans.

Absolutely the worst service I have experienced trying to rent a car! Employee not focused on task at hand, dealing with 2 people that came in after us first. 52 minutes standing around waiting and no car yet. Cars are not ready, after all this and now they are cleaning the car.turn the corner to see what's taking so long and the guys on his phone. Never again!

Great location with excellent customer service. Carlos is truly amazing and has always offered me a great experience. Carlos is very attentive, professional, and friendly towards his clients. Positive attitude with great customer service. He takes the time to make sure the customer is taken care of. I have rented twice at this location and will definitely rent again due to their great service. The cars were clean and in good conditions. The rental process was very smooth and efficient. Highly recommend renting from this location especially with Carlos. HE IS THE VERY BEST IN AVIS/BUDGET. Thank you Carlos for making my car rental experience enjoyable!

I had a less than pleasant experience here. We arrived on time, but there were two people waiting in front of us and only one worker on duty. While he did acknowledge us, it took over an hour before we were even able to be fully addressed. Then we were told that there were no cars available. The worker was then going to give us a car that someone was waiting to return because "it ate up too much gas". Never mind that there would hardly be any time to have the car cleaned properly before giving it to me, and I was already running behind schedule since we had to wait so long. I ended up leaving without a car. While the employee was friendly and had nearly no control over the situation, this is still an unacceptable way to run a business. If there are no cars available, customers need to receive notification before they get to the facility to pick up a car. There are also need to be on call staff to help expedite the process of getting people in and out or redirecting customers to locations where they can actually rent a car.

Junior Laguerre is rude has no customer service demeanor and doesnt speak English. This location has no common courtesy ethics nor does there employee's. Do not rent from AVIS. They are not worth it!
