19Horrible. The lady at the front counter was very short and rude, more interested with her phone than helping the next customer in line. I booked an electric car that was not fully charged when I picked it up. So before I could start my trip I had to stop and charge it, which made me late. Which is unacceptable, if I picked up a gas powered car, I am positive that the tank would have been filled. Just absolutely unacceptable and disappointing.
Worst service you’ll ever have. Pay extra and go anywhere else. Not worth the headache or time.
Don't rent from this disaster company. Every time I rent from them it has been a mess. They try billing me for fuel when the tank is full. Or previously on my other rental they booked it out to someone else and charged me. $2,000 rental said that I had the car for 27 days when I had it for 7. Currently trying to get me for fuel charge good thing I got pics but u waste my time
Had a horrible experience on vacation with my wife and 4 kids.
Our assigned vehicle was cosmetically rough dents, dings, scrapes. We were in a hurry and running late so we just went with it. After getting on our way we started realizing how filthy the inside of the vehicle was too. I don't think this thing was ever cleaned and the upholstery had several tares. The brakes squeaked horribly loud, sometimes even when not using them. The wheels or drive shaft are out of balance so any speeds 70 or more resulted in shaking of the vehicle.
We spent hours on the phone trying to get through to anyone to help! We always use Avis, and this is the first time that we have been utterly disappointed! We have a vehicle that is shaking as we are going down the toll road. It makes you feel car sick. It has a full granola bar and napkins and all kinds of disgusting things between and under the seats! We tried for days to get a new rental. This one is unacceptable. We leave now the day after tomorrow, and we are very disappointed that this is the vehicle that we have had for our vacation! Your phone service keeps getting us back to the corporate office. We were told that we would be able to swap it out for a mechanically and cosmeticlly acceptable vehicle. We spent at least 4 hours between JJ and I trying to get a hold of an actual person that would be able to help. One person gave us 20% off and was told that we would get a new vehicle. We were unable to get ahold of anyone, and NO ONE called us back. Avis is our go to car rental for personal and business. My husband recommends your company to all of his colleagues to use and he is in charge of hundreds of people. We are very disappointed.
The staff at this location was lovely, if it was just them I'd leave a 4* review. However the cars left a LOT to be desired. Of the 3 we rented, we were only able to drive 1 off the lot that day and had to return the next day to pick up 2 replacement vehicles.
Fatima was so kind and courteous while helping us find the best deal to extend our rental! We recommend this Avis to anyone traveling to this area!
RUDE and SLOW! Stay AWAY from this place! NEVER RENT HERE! They are rude and so are the people waiting in line.
Easy to pickup, located in the Wyndham hotel lobby. Have to check for dents before leaving b/c the cars are parked in same lot as hotel guests, so lady at counter said guest might have hit cars & they don’t have it down on there records. The car have a lot of dents & scratches, inside also wasn’t clean, so I had to go back inside to confirm dents. Only needed car for 2 days & to go back to the airport.
Hidden fees, paid extra to cover tolls, paid tolls in cash as there was no ez-pass in car to collect the tolls. Car was nice and newer, staff friendly but too many hidden fees.
I can say about this place that at first I was doubtful because of the reviews that did not help much, but I still made the decision and took the chance and I rented a vehicle online and my experience was positive. The transaction was easy and quick, the people who took care of me were very friendly and courteous with me and gave me the help I needed and in the end everything went better than I expected.
If I could I would give it 0 stars! The worst of the worse. Don't hire them, don't use them, don't do anything with them. ALAMO choose without hesitation 2 times. Don't think that it is a few pesos cheaper. They ask you for deposits of 250 dollars that they charge you and say that they do not charge you but they do. It is awful!
Do not even bother with this rental place, maybe it’s specially this location but just go somewhere else! Hidden fees and they gave us a car we didn’t reserve. I plan on calling corporate offices to file a formal complaint. Go to hertz this place is so so bad
Thieves work here. We left a bag in our rental car on return to Orlando airport terminal C. When we realised and returned to retrieve it, the attendant gave us the bag but Airpods and a wallet (containing cash, credit cards and driver's licence) had been stolen from it. We could track the airpods and see they were still in the rental garage and now we can see them at an address in Kissimmee where the thief clearly lives. So far Avis/Budget have not been helpful in escalating this and suggested we claim on travel insurance rather than addressing the issue. I'd avoid this company that condones theft. We were able to collect our car from a local hotel and then drop to the airport on our way home which was so convenient. The staff at collection and drop off were so friendly and helpful. No hard sells or sales pitches and gave really useful advice. We got a great car, exactly what was described in the booking. It was one of our best rental experiences, definitely recommend
I hate i didn't get her name. She was amazing and had a great attitude even at closing time!
When I booked the trip, the rental car pricing was quite high. I had to make two changes and as a result, I was credited about $245. This was huge in my book. There is no way I would've known the difference if the price had remained the same. I am grateful for Avis' doing this. Honesty is paramount!
Update: Several months after the car was returned, I received a phone call that I’d done damage to the vehicle to the tune of $795! Luckily I am a smart consumer and had pictures of many angles of the car on the day I picked it up from their lot. It was old, existing damage. I retract the “honesty” comment I made about Avis! They are crooks!

Old cars, without Apple Car Play. Few options. It's fine for returning a rental car, but not for picking one up.
If you have the option to go anywhere else, even if it’s further away, like the airport, go there. This desk was the most disorganized thing I’ve ever seen. I was told the computer system was down, but the communication was horrid. I arrived at 1155 for my 12 pick up. The person in front of me at the desk did his paperwork, I go up, she says there’s a person in front of me, go sit down and she’ll call me up. I sit, she calls a man up and while she does four parties get in line. After finishing with the man I was told was ahead of me, she took returned keys from two people, talked to one party about renting a car, but ultimately had them sit down, then immediately helped the next person in line. A man gets in line and I get behind him because at this point it’d been 30 mins, why was she helping someone before me. The man returns his keys, she doesn’t even look at me she looks at the women behind me and asks if they’re returning keys. They say yes, but I was there first. She says “yea but she’s not returning keys come up here”. They return their keys. It’s me and now another woman walks up. I get to the desk and she asks my name again. I give it and say that she had asked me to sit now 45 mins ago. She says ok, I need to help this woman she was here first and her pick up time was 12. My pick up time was also 12 and I had not seen this woman the whole 45 mins I’d been there. I understand that the system was having issues. I honestly would have had no problems waiting if Fatima had offered any communication. I was told there was one person ahead of me. Instead six people were ahead of me and she refused to communicate, didn’t meet my eyes, and talked about me as though I wasn’t there. I cannot imagine this place is much better with systems running if the employees are trained to not communicate to the people waiting. Go anywhere else and save yourself an hour of frustration.
