The guy at the office was nice but the car was really dirty and empty of gas and washer. I will not go back to this avis.

My 2nd time here- and this time walked away- after nearly an hour. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location- they don’t have cars for peoples reservations. And they are dishonest and unethical on how they then proceed.
Please read all the below reviews that say the same thing; I wish I had done that.
And when I mentioned that I had already been there 25 minutes waiting, I was told: “you’re not being charged for your time” True story!
I rented here two weeks ago for the first time, the SUV was filthy, and I didn’t “charge them for my time” when they told me to take it to the car wash myself and that they would then reimburse nine dollars off the rental! This place needs to be shut down or needs new management.

Staff here are very eager to help. Even with unexpected circumstances they manage to stay professional and try their best to provide solutions.

Worst experience ever! Do NOT book with this company! To extend ONE day they wanted $862 however online i could rent a car for one day for $85. So I called and checked if they could honor that - nope. Took the car back to pick the other one up. Had my license in my husbands wallet back at the hotel - wouldn’t let me rent after I had all the paperwork showing I was just dropping one off to pick up another. Asked if my husband could send a photo of my license - NOPE! All of this could have been avoided if they would have just honored the same price as online to extend the car rental one day! PATHETIC COMPANY!

What a wonderful experience here - Kari and Anthony did a phenomenal job and treated us like royalty with a surprise upgrade. The car was clean, new, and was perfect for what we needed.

Horrible service. Got there, took the keys, got into the car, it was a hold Toyota 4runner. Did the walk around, full of dents and dirt. I took pictures of all of them. Get inside de car, start driving, i notices an antz on the dashboard then another one on the shifter, finaly it was full of antz, i checked the gas level, it was in the red, EMPTY. So i cameback to avis, the girl said oh ok, we will wash it again it wont be long. I said hell no, i dont want this car. She gave me another one, and again, the gas level was at the 3/4, i took a picture then when i came back returning my car, i told the lady, when i reveived the car, the thank was at the 3/4 with picture to prouve. She answered « ok ». Thats it… never again i will rent there, i recommend people to never rent any cara there. Really bad!

My brother just went to pick up a car I made a reservation with his name his valid driver's license, and his credit card. He was denied because he has temporary driver's license, they must not know their policy because it clearly stated on their website they accepted it if it has no restrictions and it valid for the entire of the rental period. He has rented cars in various states we traveled including miami, with the the same license, he gets it renew every two years because of DACA.

I strongly believe it was discrimination against my brother because he did not look like the typical renter in that rich area, there can't be any other legitimate explanation. Really disappoint in this location, won't be recommending Avis to my friends or family.

This is a horrible place manager just sits in the office does nothing young girl in the front probably has never held a job before doesn’t know about customer service! Go to hertz in sunny isle so much nicer this is the second time I had to cancel a reservation it’s sad because I am right across the street and hertz has a better app for reservations

I should have read the reviews before I booked here. I booked a reservation, show up to pick my car up and they claim there is no reservation for me. I pulled up the confirmation that Avis sent to me and still the girl claims there is nothing she can do to help because they have no more cars. I would be more understanding if we at least got some kind of update about there not being cars but this is completely unacceptable. I will never book with Avis/budget again.

Negative customer experience when interacting with Te'a. Arrived to location and doors were locked during work hours (4 customers waiting outside), no one to be found, no "will return shortly" sign. When Te'a finally opened the doors, she insisted that despite Avis not having my reserved car class, the only way for me to get a car was to pay more for the higher class (which I declined to do). Her unhelpful demeanor and negative attitude made it worse. Had to escalate to supervisor and she was able to resolve my situation quickly. Would recommend reevaluating training policies at this location to ensure a more consistent customer experience. Two stars because supervisor was able to appropriately address the situation.

Greedy company. They don’t hire enough staff and they have 1 person returning 13 cars at a time. HIRE MORE PEOPLE AVIS! Show your customers that you care. I returned a car and it took over TWO HOURS. Waste of my day and time for nothing except Avis corporate greed. I MISSED WORK because the employee was missing for like 30 minutes

I made a reservation and received a confirmation. Went to pick up a car and was told they don’t have any cars available. They never offered to help find me a car near by or simply offered an apology. They basically just shrugged at me. This has happened to me before with Enterprise but they found me a near by reservation and put me in a Uber to the new location. I called Avis and they were no help either. Never renting with Avis/Budget again.

Yes, it wasn't an easy 'hi I am here to pick up my car ' and I was in and out within a few minutes with my car rental. There was a mix up in the system and it turned into a complicated challenge. But whatever had to be done to help me and stand by my side to give me the best possible support, Kari, the manager, and her team mate Te'a didn't try to get rid of me or send me to call headoffice to talk to some callcenter employee. No, they were there for me a
every step of the way and really showed that they cared.
If you want really great customer service, this is the place to be. If ever I needed reliable and responsible team members on my team, Kari and Te'a would be my first choice. Ladies, a big thank you for everything you did and for an exemplary customer service. You turned a serious challenge into a manageable task and always had my best interest in mind. You guys are phantastic. Avis is very lucky to have you as a partner.
