Very pleasant to work with. Little miscommunication between open and closed casket, makeup was not complete and food was VERY expensive and it was not good at all. Thought we couldn’t go wrong with the sandwich platter. Other than that the place is very clean and the staff were very very kind at such a difficult time. Would be a much better option to be able to bring your own food. Even for a cost.
Aycock provided sensitive and professional assistance at a difficult time for our family. They met our needs without being intrusive. I would recommend purchasing a package ahead of time, as my mother did. It helped the process go quickly and smoothly when the time came for us to deal with her death.

We were impressed when we planned the funerals for my father and mother. On 'his' day (and the day after) there were many errors and frustrations between staff and family (not noticed by friends who attended, but with family). A family member must be the spokesperson and on top of all details for a near perfect Celebration of Life, as staff do not communicate well with one another. Just be on top of staff and request frequent itemized receipts. The food buffet quality and generous in amount. The facility itself is great for a service.
