Wonderful place! I needed to rent a bass guitar for a couple of weeks while in FL on business. Melanie made the whole process simple, got a hold of a top-notch bass and made sure it was in the store when I arrived. Very reasonable rates, excellent and friendly service. Six stars!

Amazing people and super friendly. Service was unbeatable and won’t be going to guitar center or Sam ash ever again to get a repair. Will 110% be going back to them for any of mm musical needs. Prices are awesome and really care about the customer!

Backstage repaired my cavaquinho (a small 4 string Brazilian instrument) recently. At first I thought they weren’t even going to be familiar with that instrument but they knew all about it and guaranteed they’d have it fixed. A few days later my cavaquinho looked as good as new, they even replaced the strings which I’d typically order online. Excellent service and kind people!

I cannot say enough great things about this shop. The staff is kind, educated, and engaging. The store is well maintained and has a great selection, including some lovely PRS Guitars (PRS makes amazing guitars!). I have now brought 5 guitars in for a setup and each one has come home in the perfect playing shape. It is the only place in the area that I would trust with expensive guitars (and inexpensive, cause all guitars are awesome). Thank you Backstage for all of your great work.

Excellent service! Thank you for doing a fantastic job with my daughter's music lessons. We appreciate the friendly, caring, and kind service that all the staff gives. The music instructor is amazing and his devotion and high musical knowledge have truly enriched my daughter's enthusiasm for learning instruments. Also the instructor clearly explains and demonstrates concepts fundamental to playing music that gives my daughter the confidence and skills to succeed. As a parent, Backstage Music gives me a good feeling that the staff cares about their customers and their employees. It is obvious how your place has a genuine concern for supporting a positive, safe, and healthy environment. Thank you!

Backstage came to our rescue. Our daughter's tenor sax was badly damaged and she desperately needed it for her school's upcoming musical. Backstage drove it down to the repair person in Fort Lauderdale and it was repaired and returned within a very short period of time. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness and ability to get it done so quickly. The instrument is as good as new and you would never know there had been a serious problem. Thank you!

My 6 year old grandson enjoys his music classes, says "it is so much fun" as soon as he walks in. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, could not ask for better instructors.

Had an older Fender Princeton Chorus amp that was DOA and needed some work. Backstage Music brought her back to life! She sounds amazing.and the work was done at a really fair price! I highly recommend Backstage Music.

Backstage Music is the perfect mix of high quality instruments, lessons, and supplies combined with the personal touch of a knowledgeable staff that cares. My son needed to learn jazz guitar, and we sought out Backstage for assistance. We are so pleased with the expertise of the staff and their flexibility to meet his busy schedule. He also plays trombone and recently needed a trombone repair with a tight window due to an upcoming performance. The staff beat our deadline with a quick and professional turnaround. In a world of online shopping, it's nice to know that true customer service still exists!

I’m seeing all of these fantastic reviews, yet my guitar I took in came out of the setup in about the same condition than before, except with new strings. There are still issues like fret buzz and a faulty bridge pickup. The action was set up inconsistently, with my high E string choking out when I bend it higher than a half step. I’d never try to talk down on a small business like this, but this was just the case. With my poor review being an anomaly however, I’m sure that my guitar was a fluke or a bad day for the tech. No disrespect or hard feelings towards him.
