Jeff and his staff helped me with my chapter 7 bankruptcy case. I initially attempted to do the process on my own and failed at it. After looking into getting legal counsel I came across the Badgley Law Firm. The reviews were great and very informative. Upon my first consultation via phone I was offered an in person interview with Jeff which was a nice change because other firms wanted to do virtual meetings. I met with Jeff and he explained how things worked and reviewed my case. He was upfront with the process and cost and then said he would be able to assist me with my case. The first 341 creditors meeting had to be rescheduled and the second one was successful. I was able to be in the office for the meeting with Jeff right there in case I didn’t understand what the trustee was asking me. That helped me so much because I tend to get confused when doing the virtual meetings. Gisel was great as she kept me informed about my case and gathered all the paperwork needed to proceed with my case. I’m forever grateful for Jeff Badgley and his team for assisting me. A huge stress relief for me and my family.

If you are reaching out to Jeff's firm for help chances are, you are in a very stressful situation. The kind of stress that causes weeks of lost sleep. I was in this exact situation. When I contacted Badgley Law they understood my situation, and unlike some firms i called before i found Badgley, they literally dropped everything to help me. After explaining my situation was very time sensitive they went the extra mile to schedule a meeting with them for the same day, that ran well after 5,6,7pm. No one even noticed the time, we were in the office until my case was created. They explained everything about bankruptcy law, and the process to get finances back on track. They also explained everything in such a way it was easy to understand.

Here is where the service with Badgley Law gets even better. Once the case was filed with the court, and his staff was managing the case, to say the staff is on top of things, is a huge understatement. Should you have a question, and email or call his team, you don't get a response in days, you will have your answer in hours, and in some cases minutes. And you feel more like you are speaking with a friend than a business acquittance when discussing your case.

This is a fantastic firm but what made the real difference is Jon Masters. He has been so patient and extremely caring. Also, he’s so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend them.

I contacted this law group prior roughly 11/29/21 about chapter 13. Agreed to use them for the filing. On 2/3/22 I made my first payment towards filing. A total of $2290 was paid towards filing. 8/7/22 I asked for a refund, not just because this was taking forever, but because I was planning to move. Spoke to Mr. Badgley and was assured that things would be filed by the end of the month. 8/25/22 Michelle was assigned and all the paperwork was sent over. I did the course online, went to the office to do the paperwork asap, and surprise, it was too late to file for that month. 9/16/22 Mr. Badgley finally responded with corrections he wanted made to monthly expenses. 10/4/22 after being advised I should file my taxes prior to filing Chapter 13, I haven't heard anything back until today, 5/11/23 after I sent an email requesting a refund.
The response to my most recent email was immediately replied to, surprise, and I was told I won't be receiving anything back.

The takeaway from this is, if you want to have to babysit this firm every step of the way, this is for you. I don't see why I am expected to pay a large amount to a law firm and still have to push the process along.

I do want to point out, Stefanie was great to deal with. She was nice and attentive to any emails, phone calls, and when I had to go to the office. I understand she isn't the one who makes any of the decisions and to be honest, feel bad for the amount of leg work she does.

I have only great things to say about this group. From the first meeting to the very last communication everyone was very friendly and provided detailed information on our case.

4years ago I gave Badgley Law Group a 5star review. I'm only editing this review to put into words how my opinion hasn't changed. Google needs to add platinum stars to reflect my true rating.
Bankruptcy can be a negative experience if not prepared for what lies ahead. I'll never forget reading our rejected self-prepared modification from the lender over the weekend and knowing we needed to aggressively protect our home. I called on a Saturday, left my information with Badgley's live answering service and worried for what awaited us come Monday.
We were in Badgley's office before we knew it. "The Team" made us feel at home, educated us on the bankruptcy process and what they needed us to do and provide in order to save our home.
We followed Badgley's script, the Team kept in touch on our case throughout 4 years, they made comfortable modifications surrounding any financial changes and we're now in the home-stretch through this experience that didn't have the negative impact many say comes with bankruptcy. I bet you won't regret calling them.you'll realize this day one.
