Bagel Shop Bageland reviews
19The highest of praise for Bageland. The food is always excellent, I adore the side of fruit (try your watermelon with a little bit of salt!). I appreciate the low prices and I will be coming back and recommending this establishment to everyone I know.
Above average egg salad. Bargain prices. My kids love it.
14Oct2023 - Above is my review from gosh knows when. Bageland was a staple of my family for as long as I can remember. I can only guess the place has finally been sold. One of the car side delivery people just ran out in front of me, gave no consideration, and just stared. When I stopped to exemplify consideration in a friendly manner, the person made mocking faces and gestures towards me.
I'm not cut out for this world anymore.
We did not enjoy the food here. It was not good! If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all …. That is all!
The family and staff are always so nice. Their food is AMAZING. Fresh and delicious bagels. I am now very spoiled with how great their bagels and no other bagel compares. They are super quick and lovely people! Will go no where else for a bagel EVER!
This place is definitely got all the hometown feels, but that food is banging. Super nice people, simple things.
They are so nice when I go in to buy one plain bagel lol
The bagels are AMAZING and I don't even really like bagels.
We discovered this place when we saw it on maps while looking for our pool supply place hours. We are so glad we found it. They have been in business for 48 years! The bagels are very fresh. Not stale or hard or too chewy that you have to rip it apart to get a bite. The outside is just crisp enough and the inside is light and fluffy. I got a toasted salt bagel (not many places make salt bagels so I was thrilled) with jalapeño spread and my husband got a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagels were delivered very quickly to our table. They were split in half and the spreads were thickly spread on BOTH sides of the bagel. Also the salt and the everything seasonings were on the top and bottom. Perfection. The coffee was good too. There was a nice, polite young man who served us. He engaged us in conversation without holding anyone up. Just about all of the tables were full on a Sunday around 10: 30 am. I met the owners too. They thanked me for coming in. Very sincere. Don’t wait.
Brought my sons here for lunch. This was a huge hit! And these are picky boys! They said the food was SO good and they can’t wait to come back. Thanks for a great experience!
The food was yummy, I got an omelette with fruit, potatoes and a bagel. It’s really cheap for the amount of food you get. The place is really clean and staff is friendly. We will be back:)
Friendly breakfast, lunch venue. Like going to a friend's house to eat. VERY reasonable prices. Asian dishes on Tues and Thur. Order one thing and it comes with a side dish you may not have expected. More for your money. Bagels are the best in town.
Always great bagels. Normally, I buy bulk bagels for the household. I had a bagel sandwich and ate in, for the first time today.
I like going on Tuesday or Thursday for the Vietnamese food. BBQ wonton soup is my favorite. My buddy had a bagel sandwich he liked. Breakfast is solid too.
I recently visited Bageland for the first time and was so impressed! Great food and good service. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of Bageland sooner—and can’t wait to go back again and try more menu items! The location is a bit tucked away from the usual hustle and bustle of Gainesville, making it an ideal spot for a pleasant brunch.
Hit and miss, my husbands plain bagel was dry and hard, even after being toasted and cream cheese. My raisin bagel was great, dense, moist & tasted perfect.
Decently priced and still had a few options within 45 minutes of closing time. The cinnamon roll was better than the bagels.
The bagels and cream cheese are delicious here. I don’t typically like cream cheese but theirs is amazing.
I've been going to these guys for years. The daughter knows my order by heart. The owners are so sweet and cool with love.
Really good everything bagel, but the lox spread had maybe a dash of lox! But it was less than seven for a large coffee (only regular and decaf). 4 stars because they were nice and it was less than $7. I would suggest you go for the bagels to go, but not for anything else.
Great breakfast, smiles, coffee, atmosphere, sandwiches, salads, secret Asian food on days that begin with a T, and of course bagels.
A true Gainesville institution. Family owned and operated for almost 50 years (check out the sign on the wall for a yearly update). I agree with a previous reviewer: it's called "Bagleland" but should be called "Bagelandsomuchmore"
The Beyond Bagleland write up in Atrium Magazine gives a good history of this business.
