Bahama Breeze reviews
13Great service, drinks and food. I don't understand why they can't have better sound equipment for the live performer because it gave me a headache with the distortion.
Want to share how bad experience we had large family all protected with mask. We went with a family group that had just came from a funeral we invited people that came from other places. We had made reservations.
Manager was very unpolite not professional sirlion steak rough. Coconut shrimps burnt.
We graciously tipped however as we were walking out management showed displeasure. Awful treatment. We were not a roudy crowd or disrespectful.
So sadd among us doctors designers business owners military plus yes regular working people. Nothing like the bahama breeze in causeway in Tampa.
I enjoyed a wonderful meal with my husband and grandchild. The food came very quickly, the server Tamar was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. I will definitely return!
Pictures speak louder then words.it was so raw wen I cut into it, blood was dripping.on my b dayyyyyyyy
Unfortunately not a 5 star experience, but easily a 4.5 and due to the niceness of our waiter I'm rounding up. To start with, we asked for a table/booth combo, which they had plenty, but was misunderstood and only got a table. Also asked for lemon water that came without the lemon, and coke with no ice which came with the ice. Not a biggie, but hence the half star off. The half rack ribs were a huge size and it was phenomenal and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. However I thought that paying $3 for a few steamed green beans another $3 for a bit of broccoli and $4 for a few asparagus was a bit on the excessive side. We also had black bean soup, which was saltier than expected for our taste, but still very good. Our 9 year old loved his mac and cheese, but thought the chocolate mousse cake had a toy moose on it.lol. Overall great place, nice people, great food. We will return.
I have a significant seafood allergy, but didn’t realize how many potential cross-contaminations there were on the menu until searching the allergen menu online. Our server, Lauren, was very open from the beginning about the potential risks. She reached out to her manager, Danny, who went out of his way to personally discuss the menu with me, and went the extra mile to make accommodations so that I could get food that wasn’t cross-contaminated. It meant a lot to me, so thank you again to Lauren and Danny - I am grateful for your hard work and customer service.
Most of the staff was wearing their mask incorrectly. We had to wait awhile even though we had a reservation and the food was very bland.
Great food and atmosphere. If you like island music, then you definitely have to check this place out!
Billed for something I didn't order. Waitng for a credit back. Service and food was good.
Food was pretty good but my Paella could have used some more spices; smoked wings were a bit leathery.
I think for this restaurant to be name after one of the tropical islands their Jerk item on the menu should have a “jerk” flavor/ seasonings! I’ve tried 3 of their Jerk items on their menu and none of them tasted like jerk. Everyone of them were bland and their new Jerk chicken in a pineapple was absolutely insulting to the Islanders. I will say though, their Pina cola mix drink with the strawberry ice in it, is delicious. This is a honest review so anybody saying that Jerk chicken served in that pineapple is good, they’re out right lying. It tasted like rice and a load of sweet pineapples.
Limited menu. Was told we had to reserve a table on line, the host couldn't do it for us. I'm not interested in playing restaurant games, so our entire party left and spent our money elsewhere. Poor restaurant hospitality.
