Bahama Breeze - Orlando Airport reviews
18Had lunch here recently during a layover and firstly the hostess rolled her eyes when we asked to see a menu prior to entering. Then she told us it would be a 15 minute wait when there were 4 empty tables which stayed empty until we got seated. Staff seemed very miserable except for our male server. We were seated next to the wall which the decorations were covered in dust. When our food came out there was a hair on it. Our server gave us a replacement. The food quality was decent so thumbs up for that. Overall value for airport food is decent if you can tolerate a dirty environment with unenthusiastic staff.
Enjoyed a great meal I shared shrimp tacos and jerk chicken with my lovely voluptuous wife while wasting away in the worthless Orlando airport. Bahama Breeze could be the only good experience at the airport.
First time trying this place and will definitely be the last! Firstly the cocktail I had was so weak and had no alcohol in from what I could taste which is awful for the $14 price! I ordered the jerk chicken pasta which was cold when it arrived and had to send back for the waiter to advise “I’ll get it heated it up”. It returned and tasted like it had been still sat there for a while with a slightly warmer temperature, the taste wasn’t any better! My partner asked for a condiment in which she said she would be right back with and we still never received and she never even questioned whether it was still needed! Never would I go back again, please take my advice and don’t waste your money!
I did not leave a tip as I was basically ignored.
I crossed out in pen for tips on the receipt. The next day they stole £11: 00 from my account as the tab was left pending and not settled.
Make sure your account is settled before leaving this restaurant!
The food was delicious and the drink was great until I noticed hair and other pieces of dirt inside the salt shaker that I had already used. The waitress took the salt shaker away and didn’t apologize on the restaurants behalf. I’m beyond grossed out, but it was nothing I could do since I noticed after finishing my food.
You can’t get a beer here and leave the restaurant space. No sign indicating this. Any other airport I have been to allows you to leave with a drink. I also might add that in some cases at MCO you have to leave the terminal and re enter security. This airport is a hole.
Perfect spot for delays and layovers. Food was great, service was great, better atmosphere.
Came here after exhausting all other breakfast options early in the morning at the airport. To my surprise, they had a breakfast menu! I ordered the breakfast sunrise empanadas. There were 3 large empanadas served with fresh salsa and lime crema, and stuffed with eggs and bacon. The dish was served hot and came out quickly. Very delicious, especially for airport breakfast- and comparably priced to other fast food options in the same area. Great service as well and clean dining area.
Ask for a medium rare burger and they’ll just crisp up the outside and leave the insides completely raw/cooked unevenly.paid that much for a burger that mooed when it should have been cooked
Ok, maybe 5 stars is too enthusiastic, but I had the BEST Blackened Mahi-mahi Tacos! The fish was fresh and had just the right amount of spice and the tortillas were soft, the avocado just ripe and some red cabbage on top. I look forward to ordering them again.
My wife had the burger. Don’t. It was grilled to death, woody and tasteless.
Great place for a quick bite and a drink The beef patties were great and hit the spot just right, since the beer was so good.
Awesome lunch experience at Bahama Breeze. It was my first time dining here. I came here to eat while waiting for my flight. My server Matthew was pretty cool. My food was absolutely delicious and so was my drink, the Bahamarita. Great time, thanks Bahama Breeze.
Ordered the black fish tacos and they were cold. Finished my beer and then food came. Waited and waited, and no waitress came to check on us. Put my card on the table. She was right there.
First bite of decent food I've had in Orlando and we were here for 5 days at a Disney Resort! The cocktails are just lovely and the coconut shrimp is the bomb! (Just don't say that, it is the airport after all.)
Moody servers who should stay at home if they don’t want to work here. A 20 min wait for a table and the sticky tabled dive is half empty? Makes no sense.
This is for employees — Pros: Union, fun at times, good equipment; Cons: harsh management, perpetually understaffed, underage-drinking and THC-vaping among staff goes unchallenged, but don’t you dare wear the wrong shoes, be politically incorrect, have an opinion, or question managers!
Probably the best place in the B terminal. Joshua behind the bar was very attentive and personable. Prices were fair for an airport. I didn’t eat, but the portion sizes looked good from my neighbors that did.
Came here for breakfast instead of burger king expecting a nicer breakfast. Very dissatisfied. Dried eggs, poor quality breakfast, plastic forks? Save some money and go to burger king, same quality.
