Took a friend on her first cruise on this ship, it was dirty, food was horrible! Staff was nice but this ship was old and had a bad smell!

I recently had the best value getaway one could imagine! For under $500 for two people we escaped to the floating paradise of Margaritaville at sea! The moment we finished the check on process and stepped aboard the ship we were greeted and "leid" by some performers. The cabin was ready as we entered and a great lunch buffet was waiting! I definitely recommend grabbing a hotdog or cheeseburger, but everything on that buffet tasted great! I loved the variety of options.
The room was very comfortable onpar with a Margaritaville hotel there's so much good to say about this and very little to truly complain about The entertainment was wonderful. The comedian was super funny. The only thing that is true about the complaints is that the ship is older. However it's super well maintained.

The ship was Margaritaville at Sea and Jimmy Buffett should be ashamed of this ship.
This was my wife and I first time sailing and it wasn't good.

1st. The bathroom in our room wasn't clean. Luckily my wife decided to bring cleaning wipes on this trip because she used almost the whole container in their. The toilet had urine under the seat, the sink had dried up spit from when the last customer brushed their teeth. And we had to put towels on the floor because we could clearly see it had dried urine and soap stains.

2nd. The fuel and service charges we wasn't aware of when we booked the cruise.

3rd. We wasn't made aware of the first responder sail free when we booked the cruise. (We finally got a refund after three phone calls.)

4th. The receptionist was rude when we asked about a refund because of the first responder sail free offer deal.

5th. We purchased two refillable drink cups for $20 each and wasn't made aware that there would be an extra $5 charge when we get it refilled using our drink wristband.

6th. The female bartender that got mad and gave u a hard time because we didn't know about the extra $5 charge for using the refillable cups. Because she gave us a hard time we told her she can throw the cups in the garbage and make regular sized drinks.

7th. We paid for the License To Chill package and.
1. We didn't get bathrobes.
2. We didn't get the chocolate covered strawberries.
3. The only time we got to skip lines was when the cruise was over and we exited the ship.

The JWB restaurant waiters and house keeping crew was nice, polite and always spoke when we past each other.

The name of the ship was celebration. They were ported out of Cape Canaveral or West Palm Beach I don’t remember which.

Absolutely horrible I knew was I started of the walkway when I saw 20 layers of gray battleship paint. The entertainment was cheesy the last morning before we ported I became sick with the smell of petroleum fuel seeping through the walls. The room across from me had a sewage back up issue also. We were served dinner in a very cramped cafeteria style… The tables and chairs were so close I was not able to get up from the table and go anywhere during the dinner there was no room to move. We were given only a few choices of dinner plates, chicken, fish with no flexibility or options for the sides. I went to bed every early because I was just so disappointed and so disgusted. But I just couldn’t say anything because it was my sisters first cruise… Since then we travel to Alaska and the Mediterranean on Norwegian cruise lines. I hear Royal Caribbean is another great option.

Where can I start? I had went on this cruise March 2019 for my birthday and had a great time. When I tried to book again February 2020 (pre Covid 19) I didn’t expect anything else. Well Covid hit the weekend I was supposed to leave for my birthday in March. I was promised a future credit until December 2020. I called prior to that. I was told it was still good. Cruises we’re not allowed to sail in Florida due to covid 19. I reached out to them January 2021 was told by Gretchen my reservation was canceled and I should get a refund. I didn’t get anything for months. I changed my card from my bank, the account number was the same. I called and told them this. It’s been hell ever since. I have contacted the better business bureau that opened an investigation. The cruise like never followed up on the complaint or tried to give me back $1090 dollars as I was promised. My bank cannot do anything because of the time period. I have called every week as I am writing this. I have been in the que for 45 minutes to speak to the billing department. 12/15/2021 I spoke to Jayla she told me that manager Maria will send a check in the mail. Called on 2/25/2022 spoke to Henry that told me Maria will send check on 03/04/2022. I called again on 04/11/2022 spoke to Fernando told me to check back on that Monday since she was not there. Called back 4/27/2022 was told by Yvonne to call back 4/29/2022. I am so tired of calling. I need my refund back. I am exhausted with getting no help. I didn’t get services that I paid for. I want my money back now! The next thing I will do is contact a lawyer. File a claim with small claims court. I’m tired!

Update: Margaritaville gave me a full refund. Although I had to be on their case a lot. Got refund last week. Was away and got it earlier this week.

DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THESE FRAUDS! MY CRUISE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID & THEY HAVE YET TO REFUND ME. IVE BEEN WAITING 1.5 YEARS FOR A REFUND. ALL THEY DO IS GIVE THE RUN AROUND OF “ WE PROCESSED IT … YOULL GET IT IN JULY… “

This is kind of like the wish.com of cruises. What you see on the website and what you get in real life are totally different.

I will start with the pros
-The staff is really good and attentive
-the views are awesome
-can meet some cool people
-the drinks were strong

Now that the pros are over I’ll go over some of the cons
-the check in process is kind of a mess. I took and Uber to the terminal and watched as people had to pay $22 a day for parking
- Everything is an up charge… want WiFi? Upcharge
Want soda? Upcharge, play games? Upcharge. There is always something they are trying to sell you
-the automatic gratuity on everything… like I ordered the drink package and every drink I ordered had a gratuity added to it… why not just add it to the drink price?
-The food was hit or miss… I didn’t do the premium dining but the buffet was alright
-They we’re painting the railings on the top deck while out at sea and didn’t have tape or anything around to warn people. Many people including myself got sticky hands because there was no warning
-the boat is showing it’s age

Like I said it’s fun but they up charge for everything. Being it was my first cruise I don’t have much to go on but hopefully the next cruise will be a little better

Buyers Beware!
While I had a good experience with them in the past, I can no longer do business with them or recommend them to anyone else again. I book a cruise in the beginning of 2020 and requested a refund in August of 2020. It is February of 2022 and I have still yet to get that check. Every 2-3 weeks I have to call in and jump through the hoops all over again. Weirdly enough in that 1.5 year span, no manager or supervisor has been available. I've been told to call back on other days so I could speak to the accounting department, only to be told that there is no way to be transferred to them.

Beware if you book with this cruise line and the cruise gets cancelled due to COVID you will NOT get your money back. My cruise was booked in July 2021 and we are still waiting for our money back. I have called multiple times and no one helps or cares. They try to get you to reschedule so they don’t have to refund the money.
I was told 90 days I would get my full refund and it’s been 7 months. Do not book with them.

I’ve done cruise with Paradise before I recommended it’s for my brother and his friend from Lima Peru a lot has changed since I’ve taken their cruise they nickel and dime you the cost to put your car at the port is ridiculous $22 a day when you get to the Bahamas you have no Wi-Fi service you have to pay extra for that everything is extra shows r nothing great the music was terrible so there wasn’t really good dance music they only have two hot tubs four people capacity. I will not recommend nor ever take this trip again

My husband and I booked a cruise with Bahamas Paradise- biggest mistake. Its literally the most ghetto ship, there were couples screaming and fighting with each other. We were given specific instructions on when to get our Covid test's for the boarding. We were in line and they rejected our tests saying that it was a 48 hour time frame from the time of the test and boarding of the ship. It was originally 72 hours, we were told from a employee and from our email on when we signed up. So we had to take another Covid test on site. They charged us $ 75 dollars a piece! We were never notified of any policy change! I called them when we got back from the trip to see if we could be refunded- and no we could not be refunded! Absolutely crazy that we got the tests for free to begin with, then they charge us $ 150 to get them again! Nothing on that ship is luxury! They charge your card for everything but the meals included. The meals that are included- it takes 2.5 hours to get the meal. And it says to have a collared shirt for their dinners. LOL people had sweatpants on. We paid $ 25 dollars for the WIFI per day, and the WIFI never worked! Very upset and dissatisfied is an understatement. Do not book a cruise through these people! You will REGRET IT.

Great job! I just got back this morning this was my second time cruising with them 1 pre Covid. We had a great time the ship is super clean that staff is so pleasant and attentive and the food was good best part was it was super affordable.thank you guys for a great time and a pleasant and peaceful weekend

I paid for a cruise just before Covid. After seeing the difficulty with sailing? I canceled on June 2nd of 2020. I have yet to receive a refund and no managers are returning my calls or emails. I will be going to the BBB.

They canceled my cruise over 100 days ago…Emailed service like they suggested 3 times no reply…called a few times since it was a 60 to 90 day wait. Nothing except it’s taking more than 60 days…then at 90 days well could be 100…now 105 days have past. I have left 3 messages for the customer service manager Maria Sorrentino since day 90 with no return call. Company is a joke I’d say…but actually the joke is on me…they still have my thousand bucks. Won’t ever book with them again with service like this…

This cruise was an amazing value. The staff was very helpful and nice. The food was excellent and plentiful. We did upgraded dining at Admiralty on one night, trust me, spend the $33 extra as this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. The drinks were all top shelf throughout the ship. For $69 they will sell you a drink coupon book for 10 drinks - we bought 2 books and it was plenty for two of us. I can not say enough good things about this cruise. What are you waiting for? Book it!

I started having problems with this cruise line when I would email them and I never heard back from them. Three emails that went unanswered but what makes me give them a one-star review is the fact that my cruise was today and it was cancelled. They never let me know. We arrived to the port of palm beach to a sign on the door saying the cruise was cancelled. Ridiculous. Not even an email or a phone call. Very upsetting!
