Bahi Hut Tiki Cocktail Lounge, Sarasota FL

Walked in with my family, wasn’t greeted by the person at the bar, didn’t know what to do, so we just sat down at a table. Sat there and waited several minutes at our table, bartender didn’t even look in our direction. After waiting several minutes of no acknowledgment or service, we got up and left. Absolutely terrible service, zero stars.

This place is a nice relaxing spot when waiting for your flight. It close to the airport. The bartender was friendly and able to accommodate any drink we requested.

Love then hut! Stayed at Golden host on our trip to Sarasota 3 years running. Perfect little spot!

Just barely even pulled into the parking lot and a tall man came approaching the car very angrily and asked me very rudely can he help me repeatedly. I was soo confused and kinda of nervous. I asked him was this the Bahi Hut and he said yes it is but we are closed for a private event. I responded how was I supposed to know This and he said I’m sorry but…I let him know how rude it was but the fact that he assumed I wasn’t apart of the private event made me assume it was because of my ethnic background which was very stupid of him…I never in my life had a bad experience here until now!

Just stopped in for a drink. Bar staff were super friendly. Next time will check out happy hour and food

Place is cool but the bartender sucked. Didn’t care and was rude to everyone. Regret tipping him after the way he talked to me. People were still having fun though. Cool place overall. Don’t let the bad employee spoil it

I used to frequent the Tiki bar regularly, in the late 1990s. My mom and I are coming Wednesday, National Rum Day, August 16,2023, on our way to Lido beach. I hope you have T-shirts available. Mom and I visited on 8/16/2023 an it was great, see updated pictures.

After the face lift and remodel, this has once again become a favorite among many. With their great selection of cocktails and live music, The Bahi Hut is an awesome place to start or end your night.

What a great experience! We’d been looking forward to it for quite awhile and Megan was a fantastic host. Definitely a required destination for anyone who loves tiki!

Took a business trip and stopped by near the airport to have a drink. Wow! Kristina can really make a fantastic Bahi Aloha! I also had a Rum Punch! Phenomenal! She was very friendly and made my short trip there worth coming back!

Meaghan the bartender has made Bahi Hut a truly five star experience. She makes great drinks, she listens to the needs of the customer, and she takes time to learn peoples names and interact with them. I’ve loved this bar for a long time, and Meaghan fits in perfectly with what this bar has to offer, and elevates it as well.

This place is so cool. I absolutely love the ambiance. I’ve not been on Drag Queen Bingo night but I want to soon because it sounds so fun. Megan is a gem very sweet and great attentive service. Love Bahi Hut!

Megan made a great recommendation of an old drink the rhubarb old fashioned… it was great. I highly recommend adding it back to menu. Megan was very professional and great!
