Always great food, great atmosphere and, great cocktails!

My wife and I go here at least once a month for a date night. I would recommend making a reservation. One of our favorite places to sit is at the bar and watch cocktails be masterfully crafted.

Sweet N Sour Meatloaf

Everything on the menu is Amazing, however those are my go-to’s. My wife loves the Skirt Steak and the Salmon.

For dessert try the Bannofee!

Baker & Wife is yet another amazing restaurant in Sarasota tucked in a strip mall. You would never guess that location, thought, as the entrance is lined with beautiful potted palms and the interior is decorated with interesting housewares as well as old white window frames on the main wall and ceiling, with interesting industrial shaded overhead lights. The menu has wide variety of foods prepared in interesting ways with delicious side dishes. I had their black prawns, which were amazing. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. We will be back!

We had an excellent meal! The only miss was the truffle burger.service was attentive, but not overbearing (thanks Cannon - I kept wanting to say "boom! ")

We really love coming here! I love the atmosphere, the service is good, the menu is good, it's just a fun spot! It's a great place for the family or a date. The wine menu is great. The ambiance is so fun it's very pretty. They have outdoor dining. Although they don't have a huge menu they certainly accommodate requests! The pasta is made in house and is super delicious!

I have lived here in Sarasota for 12 years and this is the BEST restaurant I have ever been to! Cute great staff! Most flavorful food ever! The cocktails OMG! Delishly made!

Always one of best choices in town. Creative vibrant menu items. Always changing so it never gets old. Truffle burger is best burger you will ever have. Watching the bartender work is a treat in itself.

Pleasant place with great drinks. A little noisy. I ordered Pan Seared Salmon. The menu stated tomatillo sauce haricot verts. It came with arugula no sauce and salmon was coated with too much pepper salt maybe a type of rub. They were kind enough to cook a plain piece for me. No haricot verts seemed to be there either. We are local and probably will return but ask many more questions.

Fantastic food and service! It was my daughter's 21st birthday, and we were looking for a place with a relaxed vibe, cute drinks, and good food. We loved everything about our experience. We will be back!

Had a marvelous experience at Baker and Wife. The staff is wonderful and the chef is so talented. Everything was absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to return. Every detail was amazing.

I stumbled onto this gem when I was just having a “take care of ME” day and it made my day even better than it already was. The service was amazing, food was delicious, and I have to give a particular compliment to the cocktails and the bartenders - it’s been a few months so I’ve forgotten their names but one is a very nice woman (I think she’s a manager) and the other is a funny and friendly man from Eastern Europe (I only mention that because I asked when I heard his accent and name, and he told me his country of origin but I forgot!) but I was so impressed with their signature cocktails. It was such a refreshing experience. My husband and I just moved back from San Diego where there’s a lot of innovation in the restaurant industry, and it felt like being back there with how progressive this restaurant is in their style and detail. I can’t wait to come back and recommend it for everyone and especially for someone like myself who never knows what to choose, this place has variety!

Absolutely charming place, with a great ambiance, service, and food. Cocktails look amazing but could be a little bit less sweet. The food was excellent. All of the dishes we tried would have a 4-5 star ratings.

We love baker and wife! It’s our neighborhood regular spot! Try the old fashioned and the grilled chicken bowl. Or maybe the pizza! It’s all yum!
