Banfield Pet Hospital, Coral Gables FL

I was overcharged for the medication, was given pain/seizure medication for my dogs anxiety just to give her a pedicure and was told that one pill would calm her down which it didn't she was more stressed leaving then she was when I dropped her off then they tried to charge me extra money for more medication and said the next time give her one pill at night and one the morning of the appt. I was told One banpentin 300 mg pill cost is 11.38, two pills is 11.78 and three pills is 13.48. This is not acceptable when online at chewy r anywhere else u can get 60-100 pills for the same price with a prescription their reasoning was they r charged one price and they sell them for another. But I guess that is the way this supply and demand goes with different companies! I will take her elsewhere for care that won't try to rip me off!

I was very well attended by a guy called Juvianny (Juvi). He should be training assistants from other branches. Polite and extremely helpful.

Called to make an appointment for both my cats for their rabies shots and to get health certificates for them. Was given an appointment for the next day by Juvi at 5: 15pm. Showed up to the appointment on time and was told they did not have an appointment in their computer for me. Confirmed the number I called and made sure I was at the correct Banfield. Was told the only thing they could do was for us to wait until 7 to see if someone else didn’t show up for their appointment so they could squeeze us in but couldn’t guarantee we would be seen. Also when I made the appointment and asked about the health certificates I was never told they take three hours to complete and you also have to pay for them. Extremely bad customer service and the manager did not seem to care that I had to leave work early and waste two hours of our day to make it to these appointments that were made the day before. Will never use any banfield again.

The doctors are very good here. The staff are friendly and caring! I bring my puppy here for all her medical needs! I Highly recommend this place!

This is the best Banfield Pet Hospital to go to.
They attend very fast, honest & very informative. This is my second time bringing my small puppy and she always gets the proper treatment that she needs. DONT go to the band field pet hospital at pet smart in CORAL WAY they were charging us for a flea and tick prevention my puppy never received the Vet here told us she is clearly too small for that. GET YOUR PET CARE HERE <3

I've taken my dog to multiple banfield's and by FAR this is the best one. The staff is great. ALL of the staff. I trust them fully with my dog. I drive 25 miles JUST to go this particular one. I HIGHLY recommend it.

AMAZING! Staff is great, so friendly and helpful all of the time. Been coming here for over a year now and always a great experience. They really care about the animals and they are magnitudes better than the banfield in midtown, stay away from there. This is a great place with honest people that will take care of your dog without ripping you off.

Vet and the 5ech we're really great with my dog bid that is afraid of the vet. They were able to get her to.come down and let them do their exam.

They were so nice and friendly to my dog. Dr. Chavez was the sweetest and they did a thorough check up. I have yet to get their monthly plan, I've always been scared of those.

This is the only Banfield we've had positive experience with. Dr. Chavez is very professional and did a great job on our puppy's spay surgery. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. Do not get the Wellness Plan if you can avoid it; the Banfield network as a whole is awful, and if something happens to your pets, they'll keep charging you.

Everyone seems super nice until you are trapped in their monthly plan. They just want your money and could care less about your pets. I regret ever setting a foot in this place.

Fantastic place! After being a Banfield client for more than 5 years and going through all sorts of not so good experiences in different Banfield clinics, I am extremely glad that I finally found this place. The entire team is amazing and they really made me trust Banfield again.

To Banfield: I sincerely hope someone from corporate visits this location and compare it with the other hospitals in Miami. The differences are remarkable! This should definitely be your benchmark/model!

I have been to every single vet you can think of: Coral Gables Animal Hospital, Sable Chase Animal Clinic, Red Bird Animal Clinic.they ALL are awful and will diagnose your pet 1000x over so that you spend more money. Dr. Chavez was amazing with my dog. She is gentle, kind, and discusses all options. The facilities are spotless and staff is very kind. Finally at peace that I found a reliable vet.
