I had an experience at this vet office, and it's safe to say that if you have time to waste, then I'd recommend this place. The waiting times are consistently frustrating, with long holds on the phone, extended waits in the lobby even for quick pickups, and appointments that feel like a lost cause. I once spent 3 hours there for what felt like a rushed 5-minute chat with a veterinarian. They really need to improve their efficiency and staffing to provide better service.

I find it unacceptable when businesses disregard the value of their customers' time.

I am cancelling the membership and finding another Vet.

Love the service and wellness plans are great way of saving. They always take care of my dog very well.

They are absolutely clueless about international health certificates. If that's what you need I recommend you to go somewhere else.

Been coming here a very long time, today has been the absolute worst. Had Jose as a nurse specifically he put no notes in the computer for our first visit. He tells me my dog has a heart murmur. No type of explanation of the issues or care, So today unfortunately they gave me him again. Which whatever, he was very unfriendly, when it was time for him to take my dog to the back he puts a leash around his neck, I told him to please utilize our harness I’m not comfortable with him wearing that around his neck.
He then cites his experience and that the dog would be fine. Which I don’t GAF how long he’s been in his profession, my dog coughs and I don’t want him being choked by the leash they wrap around his neck. He takes the harness out of my hand like with an attitude. I come back later and to be funny he comes out with the harness in a bag and the leash around his neck, I go to my dog and he drops the leash on the ground. And doesn’t even explain what was done. Unbelievable awful mannerism very rude. I asked several people before I wrote this review because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy. I will never understand why people work in professions where maybe a little empathy might be needed and they’re just cold and mean. Try using Dr. Donita which is a Nobel vet she’s very friendly and knows what’s going on.

I had to drive to this clinic to make an appointment. I tried calling for 2 1/2 hrs before going in. They wouldn't answer the phone. After going in, I thought that maybe I have the wrong number. So I called the number again (while standing in front of them) and it rang. They were just deliberately ignoring it, and giggling amongst themselves. They never answered. I told them that was me that had been trying to call, and they just looked at each other acted like it was no big deal that I had to drive there just to make an appt. Very frustrating. Honestly, this is the first time I have had a problem with them. Because of this, we had to make a drop off appt because all of the regular appts were just filled. My dog has severe anxiety, around strangers. So, a drop off appt is going to be difficult. Now unfortunately it is my only option.

I brought my 9 month old puppy to banfield because of green mucus coming out of his nose. They looked him over, took a sample of the mucus and gave me medicine for 7 days. They said they found nothing alarming from the sample and it is easily treatable. He started to get better on the meds but once the 7 day supply ended he started getting sick again. I called to schedule another appointment & they told me they could not see me until Monday, it was Friday. He started vomiting, not eating, and had trouble breathing. We rushed him to the emergency vet where they saw us right away and put him on oxygen. We were terrified for him as he was clearly so sick. After xrays and blood work we found out the mucus turned into a bad case of pneumonia. If we waiting until Monday he might not have even made it! The ER doctor said that Banfield should have prescribed 2 weeks of antibiotics and not just for 1 week. Banfield was negligent and did not prescribe the correct dosage for him to get better and almost costed my baby his life. I paid $210 for the banfield visit and $1350 for the ER visit. I would not recommend.

Banfield has been attending my dog for 5 years and the disregard that was given to my loving pet when she was literally fighting for her life is appalling. I can not believe that the particular vet my dog was seeing showed such little empathy and care for a pet that was under her care since she was a puppy. It saddens me that so many people trust this company with their loving family members only to have them turn their back on you during your time of need. Please be aware and know that they they only care about money and do not operate ethically.

Our experience was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a vet. To start, the person at the desk genuinely sounded disgusted that we had a cat and made remarks about how all cats are angry. In the room, the nurse was kind enough, but throughout the stay she seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing or what she was talking about. The vet was the worst part though. She actually said “I have no idea what the issue could be” when she saw a scratch on our kittens ear that we were inquiring about. She became almost offended when I asked her if we should do testing or just treat the issue. She also demanded that our kitten needed a booster even though the system was put in with the wrong birthday. The doctor also freaked out when we said we had other cats. The nurse asked us afterwards what dosage the doctor recommended, which is awful. If she had put in the wrong amount our kitten could’ve died. To top it off, a dog began bleeding in the lobby was taken back. There were two employees at the front desk who sat for literally 7 minutes before cleaning it up as if it wasn’t a literal biohazard. Truly an awful experience. We will never be returning.

Will not be returning to this location
Took two times complaining and an over an hour and half waiting for doctor to come in the room then an additional hour for the appointment to even be checked out.
Unacceptable wait times with an appointment.

I had a appointment placed, with evidence. I took work of today just to bring my puppy and all they said was “were sorry” and didn’t handle to situation what so ever. I don't recommend this place for any pet.

Calling all pet owners and aspiring pet royalty! If you want a place where your furry friends are pampered with love, look no further than Banfield Pet Hospital. Trust me, they'll make your pet feel like the four-legged monarch they truly are.

First things first, let's talk about the follow-up game. These folks have truly mastered the art of pet stalking, in the most caring way possible. After every appointment, they don't just say goodbye and wish you well; they turn into furry detectives, checking in on your pet to ensure they're feeling like the kings and queens of the animal kingdom. It's like having your very own pet paparazzi, minus the intrusive cameras and gossip magazines.

Now, let's address the staff. Oh, they're as friendly as a golden retriever at a tail-wagging convention! From the moment you step into the hospital, you're greeted with smiles that can melt even the iciest of pet owner hearts. They're the kind of people who genuinely care about your fur baby's well-being, and it shows in their warm demeanor and gentle touch. I'm pretty sure they've mastered the secret language of pet whispers, translating barks and meows into delightful conversations.

Flexibility? Banfield Pet Hospital could moonlight as a contortionist. When I had a feline emergency, they sprang into action like a cat on a laser pointer. They waved their magic veterinary wands and managed to squeeze my cat right into their schedule. I was in awe of their ability to make things happen, as if they had a secret hotline to the cat universe.

The ambiance of the hospital? It's like a pet paradise in disguise. The soothing colors, the comforting sounds, and the pet-friendly atmosphere make it a place where even the most anxious of pets can feel a sense of calm. It's like they've created a parallel universe where pets rule and humans bow down to their every purr and wag.

So, dear pet owners, if you're searching for a veterinary haven that goes above and beyond, Banfield Pet Hospital is the place to be. They'll shower your fur babies with attention fit for royalty, follow-up like pet paparazzi, and make you feel like a cherished member of their pet-loving family. Your pets will leave with a smile on their snouts and a skip in their paws. Long live the reign of Banfield Pet Hospital!

Brought my baby Sherlock here for a teeth cleaning and they were so nice and professional! I was able to upgrade my plan for him so the teeth cleaning was completely covered! Great services and very kind staff:)

Banfield is the worst. Take your money and your pet else where. We have taken our dogs here twice and they never have a diagnosis and knickle and dime you for an X-ray to only make you pay again to send the results to a specialist. Ok so you keep my dog for 4 hours with no diagnosis or answer and for me to pay 500 for an X-ray and have another vet look at it? ! This place is a joke, what’s the purpose of any of their veterinarians there? Like all the other reviews Banfield has no respect whatsoever for your time. And to take as long as they do with your pet they should have plenty of answers as to what’s wrong. Wasted 4 hours of my day for them to tell me I needed to pay for an X-ray to find anything out. Safe to say I will definitely be canceling my plan with Banfield and if you have one SO SHOULD YOU. I honestly don’t know how this place has 4 stars because if you scroll down all you see are 1 star reviews. The person who answers to this review would have no words or explanation to make them look good or change my mind about them.

The very BEST vet I have been to by far! If you're looking for a vet, definitely come here! They are all very kind, and they are mindful of the cost of the things your pet needs. You can tell that they actually care about your pets needs and not just about raking in as much money as they can from u. And that is a rare thing, especially in a large city like Orlando.

I have mixed feelings about this place
pros for me: staff was sweet, they got me in, and saw a nurse right away. Nurse was caring to my new second baby kitten and made her feel welcomed

cons: my kitten got her vaccine 5/27, but then she started limping and not eating. So i got work off and I went to another vet and they told me she has a 104 fever and a viral infection. Thankfully got her care and antibiotics

also the appointment was at 10 am.i didnt get her until 4pm, because of emergencies, but when i called them about my cat limping they said the earliest appointment they had was 3 days after, so how does emergencies work if i asked to be seen right away?

she is an indoor cat and when coming to the vet, the area was not cleaned before. So unfortunately that may have been the case.

Hopefully in the future there is better cleaning

This is the saddest review I've had to make. May 22,2023, we had to put our fur baby to rest. Doctor Marina Sebastiao, the branch manager, and staff were all so amazing during our time of loss. I pray you never have to go through this pain. Thank you all so much for being so caring, patient, and understanding. Of all the vets Thomas ever visited, he liked you. R. I. P.
