Very rude girl at the front desk for Banfield! Doesn’t know how to do her job! Prescription was provided this year 2023 and she tells me last script was from 2021 and how come you have been printing me cards and I have a card set to expire in January 2024.
So I had to drive home get the card because she refused to print me one. Train your employees to do their job right! And she gives me attitude tells me I can buy my food now. How rude and unhelpful she was! Will not step into your store again

I have had banfield for 10years and between change of plan costs and out of pocket costs, banfield has received more than the services I have received. I have had to go back to vet repeated times for the same issues. The lack of knowledge from some vets mixed with miscommunication among the staff I have wasted a lot of time and money. Most recent events is my dog back legs having issues and was told she need a X-ray but most likely need a neurologist, which I later found out is another cost and service banfield is not capable of. I went to two locations on this matter and was told many things. The nurse at the Causeway location told me she needed an X-ray and I had to pay out of pocket for half and the remaining added to the plan. The vet that was onsite told me she believed it to be neurological from what she examined on the X-ray but it will be sent to radiologist. They told me it would be 24hours and then I called 3 days later and the X-ray was never sent. They offered to refund the out of pocket cost. I still had my plan upgrade cost which is unfair. Not to mention I still don’t know what is wrong with my dog, I ask to have the X-ray sent and they found nothing, saying I need a MRI which is another cost. Why make me do an X-ray at all if they knew she was going to need a MRI. Each time I go to banfield there is a different vet on-site. For a long time my dog was seeing the same vet until she left banfield. Now there is no structure and lack of communication amongst staff. I was given medications for my dog which has not helped and now I’m being ask to pay $740 to cancelled after I have paid over the last almost 10years over $6000 between plan and out of pocket cost by banfield. You guys have already drafted $90 from new plan after I was on a plan for $60. I paid $240 from the last visit on 8/29 which was out of pocket cost of X-ray. To pay $740 or another cent is unsatisfactory and unacceptable. This location on Causeway is rude and unprofessional will not being coming back.

We have been fortunate to rescue two amazing, loving, and personable cats. I know not all cats are this way and I am a realistic person when it comes to taking them to vets and we have never had issues at our old vet prior to moving. We brought the first cat here last week-who is the more outgoing of the two- and were in total shock when we got a call that he was hissing and not letting anyone touch him. We figured he was stressed due to a new vet and didn’t think much else of it. This week we bring the 2nd cat who is admittedly much more shy and we get another call they can’t help her because she was hissing & acting out. Also took over 20 minutes each time just to pick my cats up who weren’t even fully seen. This can’t be a coincidence- idk what’s going on here but I will not be going back.

Took my nephew Oreo for a physical, and the staff was great. He doesn't like strangers, but they made him comfy and took great care of him. Thanks Team

UPDATED REVIEW: 08/14/2023
Ever since they’ve lost a few of their veterinarians, they’ve gone absolutely downhill. There is no personal touch with the veterinarians there and they’re just there to collect a paycheck. Checking in and out takes over 30 minutes! It’s absurd! I’m not renewing my plans and I’m not going back to Banfield. They’ve been up-charging me $4-$8 a month with no notice or explanation except that it’s inflation. My pets go there twice a year for their shots, what is driving up the cost? ! They can’t offer a legit reason and don’t think I’ll notice the extra charges so I’m done with Banfield. They’re charging more for less services. No thank you, I’m going to the SPCA for my pet’s needs! Now I understand the bad reviews.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 5/5
Dr. Sean Brady has been nothing short of great! He loves seeing my dogs and he remembers them every time. It saddens me to see the other negative reviews but I haven't had a bad experience and the location is perfect for me. We are always well taken care of and it's been going on for four years since we joined the Banfield plan. I see the monthly payments as pet insurance just like how humans have medical insurance and it definitely has cut the costs down for some care. I do wish the plans included more but it is available at an extra cost so I have no complaints here. The team has always been professional and kind to me and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Brady!

I do not like their model where you must leave your pet there for any sort of medical service. All other vets allow you to remain with your pet (s) during treatment of vaccines, so I absolutely refuse to use them as my vet, and ONLY use them to have my cats nails trimmed. The employees are excellent but the corporate drop off model really is stupid, and completely unnecessary.

I’ve been with Banfield for over 15 years. My lab, Bucky was a patient of Dr Manning until her passing. Then my dog Wrangler was seen by Dr Manning. Since they fired her, the best veterinarian we could ever have hoped for, everyone is leaving. Just tried to make an appt today with Dr Doms, to find out she is no longer there. I miss the “family” environment that we used to have. What the hell is happening there to make everyone leave? As of today, they have NO doctors there. Only outsiders filling in. I want to cancel my wellness plan and get my dog out of there. I am so sad and disappointed! Does anyone know where Dr Doms went?

Rip off. They tried to provide other shots already given to my dog to drive the price up. I won't be going back.

I am so grateful to this place they helped me get my little oddie with his medicines when no one else could or would help me i am unable to work and they didn't care about that they cared about my kitten and helped me i definitely recommend them to anyone who is struggling like me. They 3ven found he has an ear infection when the other hospital apparently didn't even do a checkup like they said i don't remember the doctor name as i am only good at remembering people faces but she was so nice to me and explained to me about his ear ache and sneezing then they helped by giving me detailed instructions on how to give him is medicines so THABK YOU SO MUCH TO BANFIELD HOSPITAL I AM TRUELY GRATEFUL FOR YOU ALL

Suddenly closed Causeway and shunted all appointments to other location which was total chaos and still doing drop offs despite pandemic being over. Long lines at drop off and dogs all crazily barking. Wellness plan is a joke. Nothing more than payment deferrment plan.

I actually was at Pet Smart which has Banfield pet hospital inside. I was just doing food shopping for my furbabies. I give Pet Smart 5 stars because the place is clean, team members are professional and very willing to help you find what you are looking for or even just answer any questions you may have. Their prices are comparable to to other stores that sell cat food. If you go into their app you get treat points on purchase that turns into cash to use off of next purchases.

Have the Wellness plan for my dog. However next to impossible to get into this location. Try to call in and get put on hold for 20 minutes. End up hanging up the phone and call another vet.

Their moto is.will do anything anything for your pet. What a joke!

Great service, first Banfield I went to that helped my pups alopecia without recommending intrusive diagnostic like blood work and biopsies which I've done for him. Glad their first approach was an antibacterial shampoo which not only saved me money but actually worked. All his fur looks shiny and no more dry/bald spots for him. Great staff only downside is how difficult it can be to get an appointment sometimes.
