Banfield Pet Hospital, Jacksonville FL

We love Banfield, wonderful staff and our golden is always excited to walk through the door.

Worst experience I could of been through with my dog. I made an appointment for what looked like an eye infection. I was told it would be $65 plus medication if needed. They gave him a eye scrape test and a tube of cream that was about less than 1/2 and oz for $50. I did not have the money to pay for all of this stuff that was not even necessary as I am on leave from the Navy ship. So over $200 later my dog has an infection that’s worse and his eye is BALD and BLEEDING! Keep in mind you don’t get to go back to the room with your animal. You don’t get to speak to a tech, let alone the Vet! I was told very few details and pressured by the RECEPTIONIST for upgrades. This is a very unprofessional and rude clinic. I will make sure to let everyone that I know to never visit this facility! What a shame!

This place is a Rip Off! They want test when Not Needed! My dog went elsewhere and she was done with a surgery that did Not require test. This place and the British doctor is a total Rip offf! Run from this place! Go to a local long time small doctor. If you take your dog here you will be Upsold And Rippped offf. Good luck

Convenient appointments, friendly and patient doctors and staff, and great clean offices. I love Banfield!

Stacy is our girl! We were having a couple billing issues but stacy ultimately resolved it and THEN SOME! She seriously made the best out of the situation and left us feeling confident in this banfield! So sweet and considerate

I have been taking Cody to Banfield for 7 years now. He is on the wellness plan and is a very healthy dog because of it. All the girls there are really great and the doctors are awesome. I highly recommend.

Waste of time

I called the day prior to set up an appointment for my dog to receive a cytopoint shot. At this point I was told I would have to drop off my dog. I agreed. My wife brought my dog in the next day as scheduled. The vet tech told her he had to check to see if they had any cytopoint in the fridge. He came back and later told her that they where out and a shipment would come in at 3pm. My wife showed concern of leaving our dog locked up in a kennel for 6 hours for a single shot. Your tech and representative would not allow us to bring our dog in later for a drop off. If your team knew the day before you did not have this in inventory we should have been told before hand and we could have made arrangements at another facility. Total disregard for the customers time. Also my wife had concerns for the overall cleanliness of the frontend. Coffee station was dusty and not maintained, dog hair all over the floor and floors not mopped. For having an appointment this early in the a.m its hard to believe this wasn't left this way from prior day, if not multiple days. If the front end looks this way, how does that back end look?

The veterinary staff went above and beyond to make both me and my cat comfortable. Dr. Powers takes the time to sit next to me and thoroughly explain what is going on, and all of my available options. I didn’t catch the veterinary assistant’s name but she told me that she held my cat while they waited on tests to be conducted and even gave her a “reward. ” It made my day so much better. I highly recommend Banfield on San Pablo.
