Bangalore Dhaba Kabab & Karahi reviews
17Honestly I get that restaurant business is hard but the atmosphere of this place is not up to par. The food takes a long time to come out and the taste of the food is bland. The name is clickbait. If this restaurant wants to be successful it needs a complete overhaul. Until then it is not worth of the money. The customer service was the only thing that was good.
Is hard to find Pakistani food specially Karachi taste. I strongly recommend you to get beef pulao, chicken karahi, Handi, malai chicken boti, and chicken biryani. Two people should be able to eat plenty of each dish.
The food was the worst and the service was horrible. The owner was very rude. He won’t say sorry. They used bad oil for cooking. We’re not going back in there.give you one star.
The worst experience ever. We were at the restaurant by 7: 30 pm with 3 diabetic senior citizens and a kid. The server came to get the order at 8: 00 pm and a very horrible food was served around 9: 00 PM. Dosas were thoroughly burnt. Biryani was half cooked with uncooked eggplants. We had requested for plain dosa for the kid and it came with masala dosa. Upon complaining the server very rudely said no, it’s plain we did not add any sauce. For the burnt dosas he said no this is how dosas are made. I am very sad as this was a first ever dine in experience with my in-laws in US. Horrible service, horrible food.
Worst vegeterian food that you can taste 1. They dont how to make Uthappam
2. Masala Dosa was burnt and horrible in taste
3. Missed giving Sambhar and Chutney
I would give them less than a Star
Food was bad and very poor service. They didn’t even check what we order. I ordered 2 dosas and some other but they gave me dosas without chutneys and sambar. I called to the restaurant and I didn’t get proper answer.
Food was beyond delicious. We got a chicken tikka masala meal and a dal mash Hindi meal with garlic naan. Server was very friendly. Hidden spot but definitely recommend
The service is bad with no one around to take orders. You have to knock on the kitchen door before someone pays attention to you. But that is okay if the food is good. But unfortunately that is not the case. The place is very unhygienic and we saw many flies and cockroaches when we were there. Also, the food is very oily and not tasty. Will never be coming back. Also, for the sake of your health, please stay away. The visit us feeling icky and with a stomach upset.
Avoid this place. They sell pulav in name of biryani. Very unhygienic also. The samosas we got looked like they were refried in oiled used for days, loaded with carcinogens. I am not going back again and also will not recommend this place to anyone.
If you want authentic Indian/Pakistani food, you will not find any other place better than this one. The food is way beyond good and you don’t mind the service. They don’t have enough staff. Hey. I don’t mind getting my own water, or napkins, but the food is totally mind blowing. Simply love this place. The owner is a wonderful hardworking man.
Don’t fall for this restaurant’s name bait. TRUST THE REVIEWS. It’s not even near to any South Indian cuisine. I tried the food and it was oily, old, and just bad. I was not able to gulp a single spoon of food down my throat. The Dosa was thick like brick. I had very difficult time digesting the food. No water was even offered or served. Sambhar was smelling bad.
On top of it, the server had audacity to take more money than the menu price and had no explanation as to why he did it. SCAM!
I tried giving this place a chance despite my boyfriend's protest that they had too low of a rating to even be considered. "Don't be so obsessed with reviews, " I said. There was a whole fly in our soup. Intact and gloriously fresh. Service was non existant, and the place was grody. Guys in the kitchen were coughing all over, probably on the food
Believe me I neglected the reviews and tried the restaurant anyways… but it is the worst restaurant I tried near Miami, the dosa which we ordered was awful, and very oily, it was written 9.99 in menu but they charges us 10.99 without prior intimation… 1$ extra is not justified especially after tasting the food. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Not worth a single penny.
The biryani was all bones I tried to not swallow any but still probably did. The price and lack of quality of meat more so bones is not worth it even my friend who picked up the food thinks it’s a scam and he is from Bangalore.
Waited forever to order. We were the only people there. When we ordered they didn't have what we wanted. There were 3 different prices.one on the web menu. Higher in the restaurant menu and then even higher at the time of payment. Did not appreciate paying $4 for a small bottle of publix water and soda the prices were not listed for these on the menu. When l called back for the itemized bill the person on the other end was extremely rude.
We had breakfast here. Masala Tea was great. Dosa was crispy! Food was fresh - they ran out of chutney so lady asked us to wait for a few minutes, got coconut from
The store next to restaurant and made it fresh for us
Food was good but the service was terrible! There was only one waitress, they badly need more staff. Their chinese cuisine was good though.
