Visited Bank of America branch on Bird Road and 97th avenue this morning to withdraw money from my savings account that I have had for over 30 years.

The assistant vice president and financial center manager Addison Burrows informed me that in order for me to withdraw money I had to have my phone or let him know when the last time I withdrew money or when the last time I opened my bank account on my phone was.

After not being able to recollect when that took place and because I had left my phone at home by accident I was told I could not make a transaction and withdraw my money. I presented my valid Florida ID and my debit card and entered my PIN on the terminal.

I'd also like to receive an explanation as to why I was able to go to a different branch after being bothered to drive 25 minutes home to pick up my phone and able to withdraw money without the necessity of having the phone at this other location on 117th avenue off of Sunset drive.

I feel discriminated and singled out and require more information about why I am being put through this I have never had to have my phone on me to withdraw money in over 30 years of banking with you.

Is it required to own a phone to open up a bank account at Bank of America? If so why?

NEVER coming back to this branch again.

Been a bank of america customer for 15 years. Last week I had a very bad experience with one the teller Sara for respect to privacy I will not publish full name. But manager at this location must send her to training with customer service. It has been difficult to do business with bank of america during that difficult time because many of the branch are closed while other banks like chase are still open. This branch was open but service received from the teller was horrible. Extremely rude with attitude.that is not acceptable. Already transfer one of my business account to different bank and plan on doing so again at the same branch.
I told her that I will express my though she didn't care less at least it is done and hope that the bank can review and pass the message to her that happened Wednesday august 19th in afternoon time

Always an issue trying to get transactions or cash my checks, if they don’t even explain the reasons or try to help you find a solution, they simply say sorry and call the next in line.
