This whole lot is super nice and super clean. Love that they let me fly my drones here as long as I clean up after myself and respect the lot and the people who work here

If I could award zero points I would. Almost 9 months and no settlement of our damage claim from Ian. I realize at the beginning they were overwhelmed but there was no communication until at least 3 months past filing claim. It is a good thing they are leaving the residential market so others don’t endure the frustrations we have. Very poor customer service.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. Incompetence beyond belief, terrible response time and truly shady practices. I built a brand new home in 2020 and have been insured with Bankers since it was built. My renewal increased drastically but we paid anyway. I then actually had to use my insurance due to Hurricane Ian and submitted my claim on 9/30. First and foremost, I had to have two adjusters come out several weeks apart because the first one who took photos of all the damage immediately after the hurricane quit and our photos and claim info seemed to have disappeared. Secondly, our desk adjuster couldn't seem to remember what she told me week to week and gave complete contradictory statements every time we spoke. She held my approved funds for ALE for 30 days. She held my approved funds for my pool cage for 73 days because she kept insisting she needed a breakdown of materials. I provided this on several occasions and even verbally confirmed receipt of that information with her over the phone while I sent the THIRD email. She also insisted my roof contractor asked to be on the check which is completely untrue (I have proof). I had to pay out of pocket for the pool cage because of this. She then told me, my husband and my roofing contractor both in email, over the phone and in voicemail that she was allowing my contractor to do the roof replacement but would do so using the estimate from their resources. My contractor agreed to settle for this amount but she then flip flops weeks later and says I CANNOT use my contractor and that I was being forced to use their contractor who is a storm chasing contractor based out of Orlando that "popped up" a branch here in Lee County immediately after the storm. It has been three months and I still have a damaged roof and can't get a response from Bankers contractor on when it will be repaired. I looked up this contractor who boasts of lowballing vendors and contractors to save insurance companies money. Bankers posts on their website about the importance of having local relationships and empowering their customers but it's BS because they hired a non local company to fix MY home. What they REALLY care about is how little they can pay. They care not about helping you get back on your feet, protecting your investment and making you whole. This hurricane was a traumatic event for me and my family and we trusted Bankers to help us. Instead we were treated like a transaction with incompetent claim handling and strong arming, lowballing tactics. They have pulled out of Florida and made sure to screw as many as possible on their way out and to the bank. Absolutely shameful!

First off I want to commend Brian Feidtr. (claims adjuster), He is very professional and easy to contact and he protects his company and I respect that, but when it is time to pay a qualified claim, this company will pay it on time and in full and i respect that also, so I am 100% satified with EVERYTHING about Bankers Insurance Company. I have never seen a Ins Co that is as good as Bankers and I highly recommend them

Horrible customer service and assistance with our home damages from Hurricane Ian. Our claim has taken many weeks and their process is very unprofessional. Run away from this company!

Our experience with Bankers Insurance has been fantastic. We had the great fortune of having Michael Stewart from Bankers get in touch with us after we had some questions regarding our claim for damages from Hurricane Ian. Michael has been the absolute best helping us navigate the process. He has treated us like we are his only concern and responds to inquiries almost immediately, even nights and weekends. I know this is supposed to be a Bankers Insurance review but individual excellence needs to be acknowledged, especially in the world we live in where no one seems to care about customer service anymore. I can only speak to my personal experience and Michael made that experience as painless as possible during the aftermath of the hurricane. His guidance through our insurance claim has allowed us to focus on the many other issues that need to be addressed. Hopefully Michael's extremely high standard is representative of the entire company.

Horrible. Had about 10k worth of damage during huricane IAN and Adjuster missed most of my damage and insurance company gave me $240. On top of that. The company is exiting florida.

I received my renewal notice and saw my premium more than double from last year, but then a few days later I see that Banker's is pulling out entirely from Florida of course due to the hurricane. Just another company trying to save money and not take care of it's customers. I have zero claims and have been paying for 2 years, along with many others in this same situation.

5 1/2 weeks after Hurricane Ian and still no adjuster assigned to our claim. Banker hired field adjusters who disappeared with all our info/pics and the 2nd adj they sent Bankers said hasn't submitted the report yet. 3 weeks later! We paid thousands of dollars to mitigate the damages and expect better! And all phone people are working from home and 2 laughed when we asked if there was on office we could go to. Bankers did not come to the Insurance villages that were set up after the Hurricane. Need help from somewhere.

Terrible response time and service, policy clearly states 14 day turnaround on claim reports. Every agent gives the same canned statement and responses. Rebuilt the entire lower level of our home in less time than it has taken them to give us updates. We are at five weeks into our claim and counting and still being told that they do not have the correct documents to review.

This morning an agent (I assume) came to my residence, knocked very loudly twice and when I answered he lied and said he was here visiting another person and thought he'd just stop by. I told him I did not like the random visit, please close my screen door. He did not apologize for the uninvited interruption - in fact he seemed rather annoyed and told me to be kind/have a kind day. Really? Seriously? You want to try to guilt me into submission? SHAME ON HIM. Shame on the Company. I can tell you that this company will not be under my consideration ever!
