Baptist Health Bethesda Hospital West, Boynton Beach FL

Bethesda West was wonderful. The staff was very kind and caring. The doctors were great. They explained everything.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lee, the anesthesiologist and the intake girls. I stayed over after my surgery and pushed the button to go the the bathroom several times and no one showed up. I was told that the case manager was supposed to come to the room to answer a fews and she never showed. It seems that no one was available to answer my questions.

Worst source of care you could possibly get in Florida. Had stuff stolen from me in the ER, poor health care treatment during the stay, idk how they only have 1 doctor that visits once a day on the weekends. Absolutely rather go to a back alley doctor than this place.

The doctors here do not care about their patients at all. The nurses are wonderful and caring. The doc, particularly Dr. Adil M. Sanaulla was FORCING me to do a blood transfusion that I was not comfortable doing. I came in with severe pain from 3 very large and impassible kidney stones. I am genetically anemic and run very low hemoglobin levels. If the doc would bother to look into my past medical records, he would see that. In addition, as soon as I got the X-rays that determined the stones, I began menstruating, which in turn did not help my low hemoglobin levels. My urologist came to hospital that morning and said there was no need for blood transfusion and there are other avenues we could take, but early that evening Dr. Sanaulla INSISTED! He insisted so that he even went on to say, if I don’t do the blood transfusion, then they are unable to help me any other way. This is my only option, otherwise I can leave AMA” (I soon learned that meant Against Medical Advice). I tried to speak, but my voice was never heard. I cried and left this dump against my will! Do not come to this place… you are not a patient here… you are just a dollar sign $! God bless every nurse and patient in that hell hole

I admitted myself last week due to kidney stones. Pain was absolutely unbearable. From the moment I walked I was cared for by the admitting nurses and then by Dr. Levy and his nurse Victoria. They both took such good care of me and I want to thank them for doing a great job!

The staff was AWESOME! Everyone made me feel at ease while I awaited my first surgery. Nurses were GREAT!

Every thing from the girls at the front desk to the girls that did my test were outstanding. I felt so at ease except for my nervousness at having the test. It was a very good experience.

My experience for the most part was very good. My only problem was with the nurse who took me into the procedure room and took me out of the procedure room when I was done. She just seemed to be rushing me with everything and just coming out of anesthesia it's very difficult to be rushed. She was just saying things like - come on come on let's go -we need to hurry because we have other patients that need to come in. She was very impatient with me. When I told them where to go to put the IV in, is there only have one vein that works, they still try to put it in my arm and of course it did not work. They finally listened to me after not being able to get a vein in my arm. I think they should listen when they're putting in IVs as I believe a patient knows their own body

What a great experience! I went for a minor procedure, and from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctor; everyone was super professional, caring, and compassionate. All my anxiety disappeared when I encountered such a great group of people. If I need it Bethesda West will always be my first choice.

I had a horrible experience with my husband. We went to the hospital on 4/16/2023, to the ER. We flew through the ER (5min) which was nice 5/5 then sent to the room for the doctor. We waited probably 1-3 min, Dr Nathan Dvor came in asked my husband and said well we don’t have a doctor her so do you want to admit or see your specialist, didn’t do a thorough examination or gave pain medication or barley touch him (3 min in the room). We left and a lady was outside already to collect the $250 copay for that day and gave us the print out of prescription. Me and my husband went to CVS which they open two hours later we waited for medication that was supposedly prescribed and find out that it’s an over the counter medication. At this point we were very frustrated and we always have good recommendations from this hospital. We’ve been receiving text messages regarding to another payment of $214 for the provider alone. Supposedly it is a deductible, but he was there for 3-5 minutes. The doctor didn’t even do anything which is unbelievable and this shows that the provider/doctor just likes to collect the checks or doesn’t have the compassion to help those in need. Makes me sad how this happened. We had to pay the EMBCC today but this unbelievable by Dr Nathan Dvor.

The hospital is very clean. Staff is very friendly. Only problem I experienced after my procedure was the very, very long wait in the recovery room. After 15 minutes I was ready to rejoin my spouse who was patiently waiting for me. I kept asking the attending nurse what the problem was- she said they were understaffed with no one able to come and bring me back. It took about an hour and, this was totally unacceptable! I suffer from asthma and this unwarranted stress surely was unnecessary……

Those i met during my emergency room experience were very professional, yet kind and understanding.
Those who helped me during my hospital stay were very helpful meeting most of my medical and personal needs.
I cannot say enough how much i appreciate the service rendered at Bethesda West.

Minor heart procedure done outpatient. The staff were all friendly but professional, and most important, respectful of my time. They were apologetic about a delay of several minutes while they rustled up paper for an EKG machine.

The nurses were most accommodating. They couldn't do enough for me.
The anesthesiologist was incredible as well.

I have had nothing but a Great experience in West. The nurse are like no where else.
The compassion and confidence they give the patient is amazing.
I am glad my drs associate with Bethesda because it’s the BEST HOSPITAL from the moment you walk in the door till you leave

Do not go here unless you have an entire day to waste. I went in there for abdominal pain and was waiting 4 hours just for the ultrasound. Then another 2 hours for them to read my results. I checked in at 8: 47am and didn’t leave until 2: 30pm. Do not go here if you have a real emergency you’ll die before they figure out what’s wrong
