Took my sister to the Bardmoor ER and she was treated so nicely. The staff listened to her and took excellent care of her. I can't remember all of their names, but I remember Susan, she is a RN, and everyone should have someone as nice and comforting as she is during an ER visit.
I can't express how impressed and thankful I am for the staff there.

The staff and doctors are amazing! I've never been to an er that had such caring doctors and nurse's. The doctor actually took time to call and see how I was healing weeks later.

Very fast nurses and doctors. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. My nurse Laurie (or Lauren, sorry was grabbing your name walking out) is a very amazing nurse. Has such a sweet soul and personality. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Charity was the best ER doctor I have ever come across. He took the time to explain what he was ordering, why he was ordering it, and what the outcomes were and who to follow up with. The ER staff was great as well, Melissa was quick to triage me, their EMT Jake was quick to get me situated and got my ekg and labs done pretty quickly, and my nurse was quick to get me my anti nausea meds and fluids. Everyone was super caring and asked what I needed while being attentive to my medical needs. Overall best ER experience I've had in a while.

This place is nothing more than a 3rd world urgent care. Do not go here. I actually left the ER and went to Bayfront health ER. They got her back in front of a Dr in 15min. This place should be closed. Bayfront could not believe they did not see her. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the state. Do not go here.

Impressed with how quick wait times were. Doctor was friendly, same as the nurses. Testing was done promptly. Thanks for a great experience when I was feeling terrible!

UPDATE: I went to Bardmoor ER at 5: 30 AM on April 24th with a severe allergic reaction that was not responding to prednisone. I encountered Dr. Lawrence Seymour again.

He barely stepped one foot inside my ER room. He virtually did nothing for me but give me verbal instructions to stop my prednisone dose pack and take the prednisone he was prescribing.

When I picked up the pills the label said to complete the dose pack then take the newly prescribed pills.

I was the only patient in the ER, but God forbid don’t come as the shift is finishing up. I was treated as an urgent care patient.

My rash and other symptoms are considered a SERIOUS reaction. Later that day I took an ambulance to Morton Plant ER. I saw a PA who did right by me. I wish I remembered his name, but a PA recognized the seriousness of my situation and treated me appropriately.

If I ever go back to Bardmoor it will be during the day shift to avoid another encounter with Dr. Lawrence Seymour.

I did speak to the medical director of Bardmoor ER about my experience.

Original post:
Tonight I received exceptional care at the Baycare Bardmoor ER. From security who screened me to Carrie (I think that was her name) who discharged me. From the female respiratory therapist who weighed me and put me in a room and took my vitals to Jodie the nurse who checked me in to the female PA who saw me to Dr Seymour who put up with me and truly had my best interest at heart. I wasn’t the easiest patient due to my intense pain and even though I tested their patience they remained professional. Kudos to Dr Seymour and all the staff. Even the young man who opened the locked doors for us. I am sure they were glad to see me go. One 5mg Methadone of my own helped to calm things down a bit. Unfortunately strong pain pills seem to be my lot in life. Thank you for being there for me Baycare Bardmoor ER

I went in yesterday for a kidney stone and was checked in and called back into a room with in five minutes of walking in. The entire staff from guard, financial rep, patient care tech, nurse, radiology tech to doctor were fantastic. They all worked well together which makes an uncomfortable situation as pleasant as it can possibly be.

Do yourself a favor and never go here for anything. My friend broke her humourous in half and they ran a catscan on her and told her to contact a bone specialist tomorrow. Worst care ever.

Took my daughter here for severe stomach pain at 4: 45AM, we got right in! Security guard at front door, front desk check in, nurses and Dr Hyman were absolutely professional and amazing! After a couple hours and tests they determined it was her appendix and we needed to be transported to All Childrens for surgery. Definitely recommend and glad it’s so close to home

If i could give this facility 0 stars I would and only because of unethical and horrible treatment of a nurse there. I have filed complaints against this nurse to all agencies. She tied to put a IV in my arm and I have been to the other ER in Clearwater and been sent there twice because of the damage and can't use my arm for several days. I have not yet heard from Patient Services but I expect to get a call soon. I would be very careful and ask for the paramedic to put an IV in your arm if you need one.

I had to go in to the er yesterday for a gnarly infected cyst on my back yesterday. They were absolutely slammed, but honestly wait times weren't horrible. Total time spend was 2 hours from walking in to walking out with prodedure complete.

The security guard that checks everyone in was a sweet heart and very professional. I wish I had gotten her name.

The intake nurses were a little befuddled and I think overwhelmed. The lady that checked me in refused to answer my questions bc of "legality issues", but wasn't necessarily rude.

There was a white female with short black hair that brought me to the back for weigh in/BP. This is the lady that was rude and really should of went home an hr before i got there.when I asked her what my weight was (scale read in Kg) she rolled here eyes and said, "idk that's not part of my job, just let me do my job so we can get this over with. " With a roll of her eyes. Decided to shut up and just let her do whatever she needed to do to keep the peace and awkwardness to a minimum. This lady is the reason for the 1 missing star. Even her tone was off putting.

The actual nurse that did the procedure (cut/drain and bandage me up) was absolutely PHENOMENAL. She was so caring and made sure I was OK throughout entire procedure. She happily answered all my questions and was seriously the best. Her name was Jess, and she wears glasses and has blonde/light brown hair.it was around 5: 30pm when I had this procedure done. Even though they were slammed, she ensured I was taken care of and any questions/concerns were answered. Please give Jess a raise. Imo she's one of the best nurses this location has (atleast when I went in) overall, I am marking this off as a good experience with a minor hiccup. Thank you to Jess and the security officer for being personable and such a support system in a scary time. I really can't praise Jess enough!

Thank you for the kind, compassionate, and professional care from Susan, the Physician Assistant, and many others. My wife was the patient and she is thankful. Hopefully we won't have to go to an ER again anytime soon but if we have to we'll be back.

I have never reviewed any place online before, but today, I went to the hospital and I feared that I had miscarried. When I got to the hospital, I was in the back within less than five minutes. Everyone was so kind: Susan, Malone, Rebecca, Ashley, and most notably, Dr. Charity. Dr. Charity walked me through everything we were going to do, he was in constant contact with my obgyn, and to top it off, he gave me his card with his cell phone in case I needed something after my discharge. I have never had a better experience at the emergency room. Thank you to everyone at this hospital.
