Barefoot Beach County Preserve reviews
23Nice and calm beach, less crowded than all other beaches close by. Facilities are always clean.
Beautiful beaches and theres always sea turtles roaming the area, please be cautious when driving through.
Nice beach to watch the sunset. Clean sandy beach, there is a bathhouse, and picnic benches by the parking lot to enjoy a meal.
Barefoot Beach is a long, beautiful stretch of beach in Bonita Springs. It is also a Gopher Tortoise sanctuary and you can often see those cute little guys munching on leaves. Careful not to run them over! The beach costs $8 to enter but is free with your Collier County Beach pass.
Our family has come to this beach for years while visiting our father in Bonita Springs. Sadly, we lost him this past year from covid. The family still visits Bonita and Barefoot Beach is a must. Beautiful, clean and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Grew up on Hollywood Beach, FL & from the time I had friends old enough to drive, we always drove to the gulf beaches. Fortunately, my sister settled in Ft. Myers so when I visit, this is the go to beach! Beautiful drive to the beach area, & you cannot beat the white sugar sand & beautiful coastline. Another thing that you can never beat, are the beautiful, uninterrupted sunsets!
Great beach operated by Collier County. $8 per car if you dont have the county sticker. Restrooms and outdoor showers are also here.
I should give this zero rating to keep it off radar
Of all. The beaches we have visited in 30 years of going to Florida.
This is THE BEST BEACH no frills amenities but.location location location
Careful of the tortoise in parking lot
Excellent beach! Quiet, full park services available. Friendly staff. Definitely worth price of admission.
Beautiful beach, unfortunately our bit to the east coast was during red tide.many dead fish, turtles and sea mammals
Beautiful beach, one of my favorites, however last Sunday the Red tide was just awful. I can't believe how bad its been. How can we clean it up. I want to enjoy my Sunday walks, on Barefoot beach.
Beautiful beach. I does have an open and close time, so keep that in mind if you ever want to stay here early or late.
My wife and I love this beach. If you want a nice quiet place with family or just you and your spouse. I highly recommend it!
Most peaceful beach (when it's not season) without a lot of homes on the sand. Feels like a lost paradise because of all the nature.
Great beach! Even when it gets busy, it is very enjoyable. We have not used the concession stand yet but like having the option.
This part of Barefoot Beach is in Collier County. I use my Collier County beach pass to park there for free. It is my favorite Beach. I can always find a nice quiet spot if I want. It's great for walking the coast. It is a preserve for turtle breeding and the sand is unmolested an easier to walk on. There are Trails through the dunes also. Public restrooms and showers are available. Look for the big American flag
Crystal clear blue calm water just a short walk from the parking lot. Great beach as long as you're not shelling, there were none to be found. We love visiting here.
My favorite beach for walking, swimming, fishing, shelling, and sunset.
North access directly off Barefoot Beach Blvd. Accesses 1,2, and 3 are inside the park entrance 1.5 miles S.on Barefoot Beach Blvd. Access 1 has restrooms, snacks, outdoor showers. Porta-Potty at Access 3.
Fee unless you have Collier County beach parking sticker.
This place is amazing. The beach is the most beautiful place. You see lots of tortoises on the street inside the park.
