Barefoot Mailman Motel, Lantana FL

Love this place. Clean friendly excellent price and very cozy every time I come down I book a room here.

Traveled solo, the area is safe and there are a great selection of nearby restaurants. I had a peaceful relaxing experience, I was in town for a few days for a class, the manager was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again if in the area. There is a train that goes by a few times during the night but it did not bother me at all. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Not really sure what happened… usually welcomed with open arms here, upon trying to get a room yesterday my fiancé was told we can’t rent there anymore, claiming that smoking vape pens are against the rules and the guy at the window went as far as calling my fiancé a cocaine addict, where we clearly do not live that lifestyle. So for the unwarranted accusations had to drop the rating…
They also don’t seem to like anyone who isn’t 50 plus out who actually moves around…. Never see any young people here, everyone who’s here is basically long term tenants on the downswing…. There are little boards with rules that seem childish… can’t be outside your room after 11? Can’t have a guest…. Can’t have a vape apparently… it almost looks and feels as though the very LM he’s trying to keep out of here it was renting here long term and he’s completely oblivious…. Which is kind of funny because this guy runs background checks on every person that tries to rent the room here… It’s not hard to tell looking around other people that are always there… Me and my fiancé stayed one or two nights a week sometimes every other week and it’s the same tenants in every room every single time… We’ve been stopping by this place for a little over a year now it’s the same people living there…
I will say that it seems like the Indian ran places it seems are the ones to quickly flip without any real explanations… see my review about the inlet inn.

Anyways we did not appreciate the treatment so we can’t recommend this place anymore

Be careful BOOKING ONLINE. I almost booked for several days and they don't have ONE DAY available

So quaint and relaxing. From the rooms to the patio, it all feels like home away from home. Everything you need they have provided in the rooms. Even stuff you wouldn't expect. Charger ports everywhere. Dishes. Even the lighting is great. Way better bang for your buck than any bland hotel.

The owner of the hotel was very rude to my friend and I. He talked down to us and was extremely suspicious of us for no apparent reason. He asked us personal questions that were irrelevant to our hotel stay.

Don't bring your family or friends here.

The facilities are fine. You will get a "bang for your buck", but don't expect to be treated fairly.

The hotel provides top-notch hospitality in a beautiful, modern, building. The world-class staff is trained to make every aspect of your experience perfect, and typically, they succeed.

This motel was a nice surprise. The grounds are kept absolutely beautiful and the building is also well kept. The location is in a good part of town and within walking distance to dining and beaches. We had a room with a king size bed and it was comfortable. The AC worked great. The only con to this place is the proximity to the train tracks. So bring ear plugs if you're not used to that kind of noise. The owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. And were understanding when we had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency. Would recommend.

10/10! What an amazing little hidden gem. The room was clean and cozy. The grounds were beautiful! They have ice and water for guests as well as coffee in the morning. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I’ll definitely be back!

Been coming here for years now it's always clean safe and affordable.the railroad across the dixie hwy was awesome I'm a train freak.not disturbing at all.and they dont blow the train horn anymore so it's a great place.highly recommend

Amazing place. Less then 2 mille down the same road to the beach. They have made the motel amazing on the outside (like a paradise) and the room are super clean and quaint. Definitely a hidden gem

So far i love it! It's cute and quaint. Has a nice vibe.
It reminds me of a hostel or a multiple person BNB with the communal areas outside. Everyone is always chilling in on the patio laughing and very friendly.
There's plenty of much needed signs to find the office.
I should also mention, their microwave was clean on the inside. Which is a huge thing for me.

This motel was a hidden gem, from the clean rooms, superb stuff, and the lovely garden area this is a motel that we will use every time we come down to the lantana area. Absolutely no riff raff hanging around like you would find at motels north of this one.

This was a great stay for the price. Manager very friendly. Great location just a mile or 2 from ocean. Rooms clean and no bugs seen. Only negative was the a.c. Was a bit hard to get regulated and it was very cold. Nice patio area that we used a few times.

Love this place! Great hospitality, positive vibes & a secret garden type feel to it. Reminds me of a bed&breakfast you would find in the Florida Keys!

I'm impressed with this lodging hut, very accommodating staff, clean and cozy. It meet my budget and the location is perfect for my travel job assignment.

Everything you need will already be taken care of. The staff at Barefoot is a step ahead in every way.
