Barnes & Noble reviews
19It’s the only one around anymore. I’ve enjoyed the atmosphere in other B&N but this one leaves much to be desired.
Checking out the tarot cards here, reasonable prices, chakra, stones, readings, books on how to do tarot and a bit of Harry Potter never hurt anyone.lol
For those who seek fun of a literate sort, this place is perfection, I'm glad to report. Friendly staff ready (with proper placed masks) help seek any item, ones only to ask. Magazines, books, and games all free to browse. It's the perfect excuse to get out of the house.
Barnes & nobles is always kept a very simplistic atmosphere.it has a wide selection of books from multiple different genres and multiple different authors. It's very quiet, you can sit down and read a book and not be disturbed. If you like eating and drinking while reading, the cafe is good and sanitary. The customer service is what you would expect, you'd have to find them for them to help you. Which is actually kind of good, it's better than the salesman technique of always standing over your shoulder. If you have a good author, you'll most likely find it in store. If they don't have it, they can always order it for you. And it's well worth the wait for some books. And there is no minimum price for the books. I give this a 5 out of five stars, and I do so after looking around in the store. It scores well on store layout, store cleanliness, store customer service, store selection, bathrooms, and food snacks and other options. I definitely recommend, if you are a book lover, this is where you definitely want to go. It's location is accross from the mall, so it also is prime real estate. It's nice to get a break from the bustling City of St Petersburg. This is a must go see.
This is a considerable distance from home so we don't get there very often, so when we do it's a treat: quiet.people on the cafe portion reading and sipping tea, magazines, soft music.memories of long gone days of multiple, large bookstore in every town. I'm as wired as the next person, but I miss the old world of paper.
One of the few brick and mortar bookstores still around. Nothing like the smell of books and coffee.
Employees are very pleasant and helpful. If they don't have a book that you're looking for they will do their best to find/order it for you.
The staff was friendly, and knowledgable about location of books I was looking for in the store. Everything was clean and organized and plenty of parking out front. I recommend for anyone in the St. Petersburg area. However, only one small complaint/suggestion for the store - please don't play so much country music.
There's something to be said about looking at a book before buying it. I'm always buying books here instead of online.
Get a coffee look for a new book.a classic time almost forgotten by today's electric attention span.
Good selection on clearance items. Books are a bit overpriced when compared online. Got my car dinged in their parking lot.
Pretty good art selection, over all layout is organized and over flow parking in rear is convenient.
With printed media of all sorts in decline, it is astonishing that Barnes & Noble is still a hub of activity. Offering toys, games, and plushies, this is still a wonderful place to find a great deal on books.
The manager of the Starbucks portion went out of his way to be nice, and led a fun game night. Books were fun too.
Excellent, salesperson we're very helpful and knowledgeable which is most important to find books!
The staff was very very helpful when I was looking for a bilingual King James Version Bible they knew exactly where it was at and I was able to also save with my Barnes & Noble member ship card
I'm always able to find what I need. The store is organized in a way that makes sense. The books are priced reasonably and there's even a little cafe if you want coffee or a sweet treat to go along with your new book. This will be my go-to book store!
Love the feeling of being surrounded by actual books. I so miss the days of spending an hour pursuing aisle after aisle looking for my next good find.brings back warm and fuzzy feelings even though it's a chain store.staff VERY nice.
Always clean and helpful staff. My daughter absolutely loves reading and was ecstatic to use a birthday gift card.
