Great clean, well maintained campground. Centrally located between Clearwater and Tampa. The bath house was very clean. Pool was nice. Overall a great experience. Will be returning.

I’m a working professional and have an RV that is one year over their limit and they refuse to allow an “older” vehicle in their park despite it being in great condition with no problems. I even offered to send pictures of proof for condition, which other parks have gladly allowed. Extremely frustrating but would rather stay somewhere that is more welcoming. Absolutely ridiculous.

What a great place. Have been to many rv resorts for weekends, etc. This tops them all by far. Great, helpful staff. What a location and place. I'll be back!

If you are looking for a clean, safe, comfortable rv resort, then this is the place. They have a nice pool and we found the other guests very welcoming and friendly.

Their rules with the kids though is a bit much…our boys would walk the dog around the main drive areas and we would get a call letting us know they needed to have an “adult” present. They are 11 and 14…. This is their policy, and we were told about it ahead of time, but the office staff can be a bit much with the “rule”…

Our boys loved the ice cream socials, the bbq lunches, and my wife and I enjoyed the yoga class and morning walks around the park.

Very disappointing stay. Weren’t allowed to have a dog pen outside, or even a new compact size refrigerator. Couldn’t even keep our dog crate outside under a table.
Although many people had car trailers, kayaks, exercise equipment, old chairs, gazebos right next to their campers. Never stay there again. Found a beautiful KOA just 8 miles down the road…

The campground is very clean and the sites are paved which makes setting up a lot easier. Their wifi is spectacular and I was able to stream nonstop without any interruption. I only got turned off by them after i found out i had made a mistake on my reservation and needed to check out a day early and they refused to refund me which to an extend, I get it because I’m a business owner and I know what goes into operating on this scale. However when I asked if I can get a credit for when I return in June, they refused also.
When it comes to my business I’ll do just about anything to make our customers want to come back, but I guess I can’t have that expectations from other businesses.
No matter how nice this campground is i don’t feel they appreciated my business and now I’m not going back.
Had they given me the credit, they would’ve had me as a regular for a long time and I would’ve recommended them to others as well.

What a beautiful property! Clean, well maintained, friendly staff (Kim was especially helpful) and great amenities. We strolled around in the evening and went to one of the docks to sit and enjoy the night sky. Saw one gentleman playing horseshoes and in the morning saw women in the indoor common area working on their sewing machines.
Nice big spots with picnic tables and good shade coverage. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great location for Raymond James Events and more. Private, secure and gated. Highly recommend this RV Park. Pet friendly too… stayed here and attended the Ed Sheeran concert 2023. Will stay here again. Restaurants and grocery stores close by.

We stayed four months through winter at this RV park. We really enjoyed it and met so many wonderful people. We opted for the concrete pad as opposed to the gravel area. The gravel area has better shade, but not completely flat and fallen leaves are a big problem. Take a blower either way. We also enjoyed their activities. What we didn’t care for so much is being accused of letting our dog off leash (she never was) and leaving her unattended (which we did for about 15 minutes one time). I get why they police that even though not all dogs are created equally. My biggest ding is the tractor operator. Even though their published policy stated to blow leaves to the street, which I was doing, that guy yelled at me to blow them the other way. I mentioned the policy, but he was indifferent. Other campers mentioned his poor attitude as well. I can overlook that guy’s issues and return, but once the RV park on the other side of the creek opened and they were able to charge quite a bit more, Bay Bayou changed their policies in regard to minimal stay for discounted rates and raised their rates over 25%. I asked about moving to the gravel side next season, but they said there were no sites available. We really liked the place and what they offer, just not the big price hike. If their new rates fit your budget, I think you’ll enjoy the park, the people, and the location.

Don't stay here if you need to have something small left under your awning or little yard space because can't even have a small little doggy pen but everybody else has kayaks sitting there car tow dolly sitting there big grills exercise equipment and the long-term people or residents have tons of stuff including little sheds gazebos etc. Oh and you can also not have a small outside refrigerator even though it's tucked way under the awning or RV.
Go to the KOA a few miles down the road that is like being in a tropical area and on a vacay.

Cleanest campground I've ever stayed in. Friendly guests. The observation deck is so peaceful. And there is so many places to go in the area.

My best friend and I stayed here while in Tampa for the Taylor Swift concert and this place was amazing! The staff was great, the place was clean and I loved how the poles for the spots were removable to make it so much easier to back into the spot. Pool was clean. Definitely would come back and recommend this place.

Unless you bake big money and don't worry about spending it. It's a great place to be. Not much for children to do other than a pool, no playgrounds. And children must be accompanied while riding bikes on the road and while using the pool. And rent is outrageous.

Can say anything bad about this place. Staff was amazing, very very clean grounds, and pool was amazing. Great family location, and lots to do around the area. Would absolutely come back and recommend. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly. I miss it already!

Well maintained and was grateful to get a spot to layover a couple days. One big downside if you’re staying long term is the awful Wi-Fi. They said streaming is capable but nothing but freezing screens then down altogether. Based on that I wouldn’t stay long term without being able to watch tv. Otherwise I’d you just want to read books it’s a relaxing place to stay.
