Bay Club of Sandestin

Terrible hotel. Me and my boyfriend was with Covid, I contacted the hotel before my trip 5 days, I don’t have answers I tried to Change the dates I don’t have answers. Not refund. Customer service terrible

It was okay a very pretty place, but everything was extremely spread out.the only way to get to different areas and attractions was the shuttle and there was no way to get in touch with the shuttle directly or understand where different bus stops were are what time the shuttle would appear or not appear.

Very nice suite. However the picture window was cloudy and we couldn't see the view even though it was just the parking lot. This is not condensation.

We've spent a great week here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our condo was clean and well appointed.

This was an amazing trip! We enjoyed our vacation and exploring the area.
Pros:
Clean room.
Kitchen, with dishes and utensils.
Dish washer.
Laundry machines in building.
Bathtub/ hottub also has a stand-up shower.
Full living room and bedroom.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Private parking for guests.
It has tram access to the beach.
It is a 5-minute drive to "Private" beach with private parking.
They have a large selection of pamphlets to help you see what's around you.
Very quiet and peaceful.
You also have your own private balcony.

Cons:
If you're visiting on the weekend you will not be able to get new towels until Monday. But, note that they give you a lot of towels.

Now, this place also has the option for time shares, so take that how you will.

Condo was clean and had plenty of room for two in the 1 bedroom. Any more might have been too crowded even though a pull out couch was included. Washers and dryers were provided on some floors, but not in the units.

It was great until the end of our stay. It was raining really hard so i called the front desk and asked if it was absolutely necessary for us to checkout at 10am, she told me we could wait and see if it clears up at 11am. I then got a call from a different woman from the front desk at 10: 30am, by that time it cleared up and i was packing our vehicle, who was incredibly rude and told us "checkout is checkout" and demanded we vacate immediately. I wont go back

Water leaking in room which caused the carpet to get soaked. Manager was not eager to offer a solution to the problem. We spent almost an entire day waiting on them to clean another room. Keep in mind, other guests were checking out at 10am. When we called to get an ETA, the manager, Sarah, rudely stated, “we will call when it’s ready. ” No customer service skills whatsoever! When my husband was finally petitioned to come get the key, another guest was complaining of the lack of cleanliness of his room. I understand issues may arise, but it’s how the issues are handled that determines a positive outcome.

It's Absolutely Gorgeous here. Condo's are very nice. No Complaints. Also close to All the Beaches.

Took the pics as we were leaving. Overall great experience. We stayed in room 203 at Bay Club 1. Fully equipped kitchen, and cable in all three rooms. Single shared bathroom with a jet tub. The only issue we had was the main master bedroom in Bay Club 1 on the 2nd floor faces the bay, which is great, but it is right above loading docks area. Three nights we had trucks backing in and driving out at early hours of the morning that woke us up. The included fitness area has treadmills, bikes, and a cable machine and it opens at 7am. There is also a great swimming pool that is included as well, and 3 free washers and dryers each on floors 2,4, and 6. In addition, you can fish all the ponds in the area which was super fun. Would definitely recommend.

We were one hour late to check out, the staff made sure to chastise us and let us know that the owner of the unit was waiting and we had held them up. This would have been a 5-star stay if it weren't for the last 5 minutes of interaction with the incredibly rude staff.

I have to admit that it's close to everything and they have great amenities. Front desk and other staff members are helpful and professional.
My issue is that I locked my key in the room and there was No one available to let me in. I called security who stated that they called maintenance. I sat waiting for 1/2 hr and called security again. They stated that it was all they could do.
What kind of a resort leaves clients trapped outside their units?
Very irresponsible and unprofessional.
It was hot in the lobby while w airing.
I am so disappointed with them. Did I mention that my unit was neat and clean? Everything except being there for the cust9.

This company doesn’t care about its customers. I told them husband tested positive positive for COVID and our reservation is for 10/16-10/18 they would not give me a refund. ThereforI will have to come there and possibly expose other. They don’t care about other customers. I’ve emailed the health department and the news is next. I’m trying to keep everyone safe so please give me a full refund. Expedia contacted them as well since it was placed through them. They would not allow them to speak to her. Expedia did all they could to prevent a potential lawsuit from a customers who may find out. I’m sorry will find out.

I just wanted to say I am absolutely AMAZED that I had a reservation booked for a room on September 17th-20th. *yes it was a noncancellation* booking! However we drove 4 hours and 30 minutes before we were to arrive the whole coast was shut down due to *HURRICANE IVAN. I called and cancelled because the beach was closed and the pools at the hotel were also closed everyone was leaving due to the storm! The hotel said they would keep one night and refund the rest! Because no one could have planned for a natural disaster right! Now I get an Email staying there keeping the 600$ and not refunding anything! Not a care in the world about can we make another reservation or how it affected us also not being able to go on vacation. I am out of work due to COVID and I saved enough money to take my family to this resort and was shown this kind of indecency! I hope that everyone reads this and can see how unfair life can be and how I greatful people can be to be treated as a number rather than a human! So please reconsider taking your $$$$ and time to this location for family fun. I pray that this will help you make a better decision on where you want to stay and pay! Bay Club of Sandestin has some impressive grounds, all surrounded by the vastness of the sea, with the beach right on the doorstep. The rooms are large and boast a sea-facing or marina-facing balcony, modern bathrooms, and kitchens.
