Bay Coffee & Tea Company @ TPA, Tampa FL

The service was fine enough considering we didn’t expect much, and the croissant was actually pretty good, but my husband and I both had to dump out our drinks (he ordered an Americano and I ordered an iced mocha) after the first taste- they were horrendous!
The employee put neither espresso nor chocolate in my mocha, but mixed milk with black coffee over ice- what the heck?
As we were waiting for our drinks, the employee making them made and called out four drinks that she had made and nobody ordered, so she had to go back and make the correct things.
The saddest part is there is really nowhere else to get coffee here in Terminal A, so we have to wait for our next layover.

I’ve had better coffee from McDonald’s at a third of the price and I don’t even like McDonald’s coffee. Starbucks wasn’t available so decided to try the coffee from here. It was weak and acidic and tasted like it was made from cheap robusta beans. I would skip this place from now on.

Finally coffee that is not watered down! And didn't have to wait in the Starbucks line.

Go elsewhere, the two kids behind the counter were beyond rude. Older couple needed a little help figuring out what they were ordering, which was just too much for these two. An guy wanted to pay for an extra shot, which didn’t deserve the attitude. I kept it simple “hot chocolate please just can you not make it too hot, really need it cooled down” female cashier repeated laughing “cooled down”. Tried to take a test sip and burned myself, tried to ask for some ice and got an eye roll. Took my two $5 bills back from that tip basket, that hot chocolate was for a kid that would be missing taste buds. 11/4 @ 11am in terminal A.

Fast moving line, efficient and polite cashier, piping hot coffee which tasted pretty good. Overall worth the 2.80 for brewed coffee. Can’t speak to the food. Terminal A at 8: 45am.

The guava pastry was delicious, but my chai latte was horrendous. I couldn't even drink it. The staff was not very friendly and making lots of faces like they were exasperated by the customers.

Employees answer the question "how are you? " With a "Tired". Coffee is volcanic hot, burned flavor, croissant is stale and flavorless. Both will cost you $8.92. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Service staff VERY RUDE, Starbucks just around the corner with a well deserved long line…why? Because Starbucks staff is nice. The Indian checkout women should get another job if not happy or satisfied. BTW, when a handicapped women drops and leaves her walking cane, help her out and hold her cane behind the counter, two people tripped over it.

A also wanted to note the staff will not hear muffins or any food, I guess the multi-thousand dollar oven heat the staffs heads…. These people are idiots.

Not sure what problems people have here. There only 2 employees working as hard as they can, for alot of customers. The service was great and my iced latte was excellent. Great Job!

Customer service could be better. Okay cold sandwiches. Wished they had the hot sandwiches. Pricy as you usually find at the airport.

Ordered a cappuccino, had about twice as much milk as it should have. Basically got a cup of coffee scented hot milk.

Scone was dry and bland, wouldn't recommended it.

Mediocre service, nasty parties and gross coffee wrapped up my purchase. Threw all of it in the trash after a few sips and a bite into my raspberry danish. Gross.

The worst coffee I have ever had. The worst croissant as well. The window display had an awful selection. Incredible that this business is allowed in the wonderful Tampa Airport.

4 7 22 cashier cheats me I call her on it and she gets upset. I asked for Cinnamon bun $4.30 she rang up a Guuva pastry for $4.95 plus additional 60 cents tax on top of that. She says it's the machine I tell her Guuva is listed at $3.75. Then I asked what other pastry could she ring me up for that's less than $4.95 she said $3.75 but she didn't do this then she said we can't give you back money. That manager isn't there. She was nasty, rude, unprofessional all because the machine didn't allow her to put in price so she say. I am not sure how many people are being cheated and treated in this manner. Solution update machine, train employee on customer service and send me a $10 coupon for my troubles.

Used to love this place, had great cafe con leche. Now a lady tells me it’s made with regular coffee not expresso, gross! And then she couldn’t give me my money back. Disappointed!

We came here because the line at Starbucks was out the store. We ordered a chocolate and two ham and cheese croissants and they were half cold half warm. But the true reason for this review is their coffee. Both the brewed coffee and the espresso have a burnt taste. It most likely is due to not properly cleaning out their machines. It was just as pricey as Starbucks but very disappointing.
