Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery reviews
16Phone receptionist for palm harbor was so rude, was planning to schedule an appointment but she made me seem like I’m a bother
I had an appointment for an appointment with April at Palm Harbor location and required me to put a deposit of $900. An emergency came up before the appointment and tried to cancel, they said I can’t cancel plus April charged me for a visit fee that never occurred. I don’t care for what they did to me. The only reason I had a star placed because it will not let me post without a star entered.
I was very lucky to find this practice! The staff is absolutely amazing, and have been patient with any inquiry or issue I have ran into. Katie Bernhardt is the most fantastic, caring, knowledgeable and helpful provider I have ever visited. She has helped me every step of the way and has gone above and beyond my expectations! Thank you Katie and Bay Dermatology!
My doctor took time with me, looked over head to toe. She cut out a very dark skin. Thanks to the whole staff, your great!
Dr. Moon is awesome! She is my dermatologist and also does Botox for me. The facility and staff are very nice too.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chavda for 5+ years and she takes very good care of me. Very knowledgeable and always has my best health in mind. She’s big on preventative measures to ensure that my skin stays healthy.
Dr. Miller and his staff provide exceptional care. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and caring attitude.
Office staff and medical assistants pleasant. Really like Dr Moon. She's personable and caring and never makes you feel she is in a rush but is attentive to your needs.
It would be impossible for this medical group to be any more professional than they already are. They have an efficient appointment process and wonderful Doctors.you can't go wrong with seeing this group!
I ️ dr. Miller’s Practice, always on time, very helpful and organized appointments, very Covid safe, many young Dr’s interning with him… they gave me information about a very rare full blown skin condition. Dr. Miller knew about this condition & even taught about it! His young Dr’s knew about it too! I trust my skin Dr & his staff, he’s not a alarmist & doesn’t need repeat visits like so many MD’s to bill Medicare!
I live in New Port RICHEY much closer to a satellite office but I choose to travel to Palm Harbor as his staff is awesome, ALWAYS
Very courteous and professional, Dr listened to me and was very attentive. Could not get requested blood work done due to improper codes, waiting for call from the office
First visit was great. Dr Chavda was very professional and helpful. Her staff, Carlin was amazing! She is off to nursing school, in which she will be an amazing nurse! I should know, I just retired after 48yrs!
Todays visit with Dr Moon was also very good. Had to be treated again for some tough areas. They got me right in, due to leaving for up north in 2 days! Back in the fall! Have a great summer!

I brought my 94-year-old mother in due to extremely itchy rashes. Both the assistant and the doctor were so patient and compassionate with her. She left with an understanding of her condition and medication to help her. Really great place.
I’ve been a patient of Bay Dermatology for 7 years now. I have had both cosmetic and annual skin checks/procedures throughout the years, going to both Largo, Palm Harbor, and New Port Richey locations (primarily Palm Harbor). Dr. Chavda has been my go-to dermatologist for various reasons. She has great bedside manner, is extremely thorough from a clinical perspective, and is wonderful in educating her patients. She doesn’t just assume you know and simply says “do you have any questions? ”. She educates, educates, educates, and is very honest. She is confident in her expertise and that makes me feel comfortable as a patient knowing I am in good hands. The front office staff is very pleasant and wait times are very limited. Sometimes the wait can be a bit longer once you’re back, but it just depends on whose being seen that day like any other doctor office. Sometimes some patients need additional treatment, and thats understandable. But they are respectable with your time and that’s important.
Dr. Moon was in too much of a rush. After my mom's procedure she cauterzied and bandaged the area.
Dr. Moon knows my mom is on 2 blood thinners you'd think she would say let's make sure you stop bleeding before you leave but she didn't. So my mom dressed and blood started pouring out of area worked on. I had to call out into the hallway. The technician came in and stopped the bleeding. When the technician left I heard Dr. Moon say what is going on and the technician told her.
I expected Dr. Moon to come in and check, but she didn't. When we left the exam room, Dr. Moon was right there in hallway.
I'm very disappointed in her lack of care for her patient. She should have came back into the exam room to follow-up. Just very disappointed in her lack of concern.
4-27-22 Just got a call from the office. No apologies, just why a bad review? I said my review explains it all. Dr. Moon had the lady call me (she said Dr. Moon asked her to call). This was Dr. Moon's chance to call and say she should have checked in on her patient.
Hopefully from now on Dr. Moon will think twice instead of staying in the hallway when her patient needed her.
