The place seems nice but the employees are worthless, the poor people that have to be there amd tortured by them is sad. You hear the employees complain about doing there job by cleaning up the patients, these are people who obviously can’t do it for them selves and have them yelled at for not controlling their bowl movements. They don’t even have supplies for the people who need them, I had to provide some stuff that a patient needs. It’s like if the personal aren’t even supposed to be in this profession, why work in the medical field if f you don’t like to deal with people. I wouldn’t wish this if anyone. And you hear the employees complain about not getting paid for there work. You can’t even call amd complain to anyone who works in this place cause the phone doesn’t take calls. I had to put one star cause it won’t let me put none. If you have family members here check on them they are being treated in fairly amd it’s not there fault.

My sister is there and can’t walk they had her sitting in bed with just a diaper on went to get her a nightgown to put on just left her naked with the door wide open and curtains open to people just walking by starring in the door at her naked didn’t come back to her for hours and don’t give her her pain medicine. We our trying to get her moved out of there not a good place. No one should be treated that way in

My name is amy and i work
there, its disgusting!
Bed bugs everywhere, residents are unwashed and filthy.
They sleep in there urine and feces.
Residents are ignored, and the staff are abused by the staff member Jennifer R. Gross.
The H. R.nambia who is a pathological lier is fully aware of the roaches, mold, neglect and abuses that occurs in the facility, but has no interest in fixing them.
Please do not leave your loved ones here!

From my initial Tour with Amanda at the facility I knew I was making the right decision. Amanda was professional, and very informative. I worked with Jeff to start the admission process, things went very smooth and there was constant communication. The admission process went well, the Staff is professional, helpful and caring.

I want to say Thanks to Mrs. Antionette Erickson for all her help she provided to my father Mr James Dexter during our visit from Seattle Washington. I am in the healthcare business she is excellent person and work very hard for the patients. We need more people like her in the healthcare

I wish I could have had a camera to record how much Bay Vue staff, administrators, business managers help us with our beautiful Bernice. Bernice is 92 years old This wonderful lady came down with Covid and she required to be admitted into a home sooner than we planned. While doing research we found close friends who mother been in the home for 5 years. They use terms like resident apartments, they welcome family and treats every one special. They are watching and making sure everyone is safe and special. Everyday Bernice is dressed and looks beautiful. We are so happy we found this home for Bernice.

My friend was in the assisted unit and thrived very well, wheelchair bound until an aid had him stand on one leg during dressing and he fell, breaking 2 bones, and ended up in the nursing unit very sedated without his hearing aids. They deemed him mentally incompetent and he laid in bed for almost a year. After authorities got involved we pushed for PT and speech which he progressed very well. Then another episode of oversedation and authorities resumed oversight, however he lost ground. We often visited him sitting alone in a dark room unable to reach lights or blinds and TV often broken without hearing aids or phone. The POA has never done a surprise visit to really see the truth and the extent of neglect of his rights and not a propped up exhibit for a zoom call.

Everyone should disregard all previous negitive reviews! Why? Because in January 2023, the whole staff at Baview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was replaced (including the director at the top)! The new staff is absolutely AMAZING! They are all very professional, attentive, and responsive to inquiries and suggestions! The whole facility was also completely renovated recently and it is very, very clean. It's literally a whole brand new Bay Vue! My dad loves it there now! I'm so glad that he is happy there! I give it because I love how my father is being cared for!
Here's why.
I have constant ongoing communication with my dad and his nursing staff. Dad tells me every time we talk that he feels well cared for and enjoys living there. I'm also included, telephonically, in all of my dad's staff care plan meetings. This is significant as it keeps me 100% involved and informed of all aspects of my dad's ongoing care and life there. Everything about Bay Vue is TOP NOTCH now! The Social Services department facilitates phone calls with me and my dad whenever we want to talk. I also have regularly scheduled/weekly Zoom video calls set up, so that I can not only talk to him often, but can also see & interact with him too (I do not live in Florida, so physically visiting him is not an easy option for me at this time). He says the food is great and everyone there is very nice to him. The physical therapy department has also been very responsive to my emails, and they keep me posted on my dads abilities/progress as required. He was recently fitted with a new wheelchair that fits his body proportions better and relieves stress on his knees. The activities department gets involved with helping my dad write his memiors on his tablet and print pages on his wireless printer that is hooked up to the wifi there. They just put a brand new desk in his room to facilitate him staying more active mentally with his tablet, with his playing cards (he loves to play solitair) and with doing puzzles. The accounting/BOM is very responsive and easy to work with also. I get a full accounting of my dads financial account on a regular basis. I highly recommend Bay Vue. It's the best its ever been right now!

Terrible facility, if I could rate it zero stars I would. I wouldn’t place a stray dog in this building (the nursing home or the assisted living.) Staff attitudes are horrible, getting through to a nurse’s station is like pulling teeth, the facility reeks of urine, residents look dirty and disshelved, and lets not to mention the rats in the kitchen. Mass exodus of staff and department heads during the end of 2022, due to the condition of the facility and constant bounced checks from “ownership. ” Facility is on its third administrator since Dec of 2022. Resident rights are violated without regard. Corporate only cares about the money and “maximizing” Medicare days - fraud. The state and health department have been contacted.

I've called adult protective services and ACHA 4 times with before and after pictures. In the 2 years my dad's been a patient here we've seen 4 different administrators and department heads. They give excuses and protect themselves instead of resolving the problems or restoring the rights of patients. Take before and after pictures when you see any violation in safety, over sedation and neglect to show the authorities.
