Bayboro Brewing Co., St. Petersburg FL

Gave 2 stars because the beer deserves them, however the food on the other hand was probably the worst food the 4 of us had. Chicken sandwich was ok, but halfway through the flavor changed and tasted off. Two of us couldn’t finish them. The burger my wife got was absolutely terrible and the worst she has have ever eaten. 2 bites is all she could stomach. Fries came out cold as well. Not sure if we would ever give the food another try since they completely failed. May come back again if we eat prior. Ended up at McDonalds after which is a shame. This place was recommended by I love st.pete, can’t find out why. Not a place for an adult evening, as there was kids running all over the place…

One of my new favorite spots in town. Good food, great beer, multiple environments to enjoy the night and competitive pricing food and drink wise. Staff is awesome and attentive

I have visited this establishment twice for music (Last night-UJB and for Guavatron in 2023) and on both occasions, we had similar experiences. The music was the main reason we went in the first place and we were very impressed with the location, design of the venue and branding. We sampled food on one occasion and ordered by scanning from a menu at our table. The food and drinks were very nice and delivered with a smile and in a timely manner. This appeared to be the case for others at the establishment and may be the ultimate cheat code for Bayboro, e.g, order from your phone/location.
While reviews suggest a 4.8-star rating, my experiences at the main bar do not align with this, and I believe it's important to provide an honest perspective for potential customers. I genuinely want to like the place and believe there's potential for improvement. My intention is to provide constructive feedback that, I hope, will contribute to positive changes.
The service experience at the bar in the front bar was absolutely atrocious. As a brewery, I would expect the main bar to be a showcase of your signature beverages. Unfortunately, we experienced just the opposite. On both visits, the main bar experience was marred by slow service, unfriendly staff, and a lack of urgency. On both occasions, we witnessed numerous missteps in service, making it challenging to order anything from the bar. This is a great disservice to your establishment and to the other staff at your venue (food service, design, booking, sound) who appeared to have done things right.
I have since read that this was not unique to our visit and also mentioned by several others in the community in the reviews. I like the place and will give it another chance when they have music I want to experience but I am extremely wary that management/ownership has not attempted to address the obvious issues with service and staffing at the main bar.
I hope my constructive criticism is viewed in a positive light and that things change for the better. I am open to discussing any concerns I've raised with ownership in good faith. I believe addressing these issues could significantly enhance the overall customer experience. It is sad to see a place hit on almost all levels and then fail so miserably in another. I'm optimistic about the potential for improvement and hope to see positive changes in the future. I'll keep my fingers crossed until the next show and remain hopeful for a more satisfying experience.

My husband and I have been to this brewery twice, and both times, we were COMPLETELY ignored by the bartenders! And when I say completely ignored, I mean they took the two empty glasses (our only beers that took 15+ mins to get), and walked away to serve someone else without so much as a “be right with you” or “sorry I missed you. ” The bartenders “friends” sitting on the other side of me were asked twice if they needed anything, while I continued to be ignored. This was the same experience we had the first time we came to Bayboro. I honestly have never felt so unwelcomed and ultimately ignored as a patron. To not even make eye contact with a customer that has clearly been standing at the bar for quite some time, is just rude.

This place rocks! All of the staff were very attentive and kind; especially Mark, he worked very well under pressure on a busy night and made sure to keep the customers satisfied. I will definitely be coming back soon!

This place held up during a sold out event. They stayed professional and personable. Enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

First-time attendee for UJB last Thursday (1/18) - I've seen them many times, and that room SOUNDS fantastic.

Nice selection and variety of beers and live music. Plus, their astroturf outdoors makes it comfy for kids and dog.

Great brewery. The beer server was extremely friendly and fun. AND the beer was delicious! Also had the twice cooked chicken wings, also very tasty!

I ate their twice.both times the food was cold, and only mediocre at best. Fun place, but I recommend eating before you go there to drink.

Definitely a very chill atmosphere. Great place to just come to and unwind after a busy day and have a couple of drinks.

This place is amazing. Great food, great beer options! Went for a music show and the whole venue itself is the perfect setting.

Best brewery in town. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Beers are always delicious and refreshing. BBQ is amazing with lots of options! Great place to bring the family or dog and have a some drinks, food and watch live music. 100% recommend!

Great place! My band did a show here and the taproom and live event hall are great. They have an awesome patio for enjoying great beer outside when the weather is good. Sound in the event room is great and the production manager is awesome.

All of the beers I tried were excellent. The Full Bird IPA and the Margarita Gose were my favorites. Highly recommend hitting this place up.

I can't speak to the food personally, but everyone else seemed to enjoy the food. I don't eat too soon before performing, and by the time I was done packing up my gear, the kitchen was closed so I just didn't get an opportunity. I'll be certain to try what they off next time.
