BayCare Behavioral Health- Brooksville reviews
6Baycare sucks.i feel bad for the workers they work so hard and get barely anything in reward.i give it a 0 but i cant so i give it a 1.
Unbelievably DAFT! I hate this place and you will too! Incompetent, inconsiderate dolts! If you need MENTAL health do not consider them!
Edited to respond to Kevin.there are employees there who seriously need to work elsewhere. Push a mop or something, shouldn’t work with people let alone ones with mental health issues. The way my husband (and I) were treated is appalling!
By the way, “customer service”? Perhaps this is part of the problem here.
I've had all good experiences so far. My therapist is nice, I like the psych Dr a lot. It is hard to get an appt sometimes but they're booked because a lot of people need therapy. Honestly I think it's important to remember therapists and staff are also people. Therapists call out when they have bad days and it's inconvenient but they probably have mental health problems because they listen to all your problems all day. So when they aren't there it's probably needed for them to take a break.
I am a longtime patient of BayCare and I have a therapist that I’ve been seeing for years. She is wonderful, and has made a huge difference in my life. I engaged in psychiatric services here a few years ago, but became pregnant and could no longer take my medication. When I tried to reengage, they gave me a different psychiatrist. She severely misdiagnosed me, prescribed me a medication I’d never taken before, and I left very distressed. I sought a second opinion. Both the other doctor and my longtime therapist disagree with the diagnosis. I tried to switch providers, but after two weeks of attempting to get in touch with supervisor Sandra Morrero, she finally answered the phone and I was told that I could not and needed to meet with my current psychiatrist to “work it out”. In an attempt to advocate for myself, I expressed that this would be very uncomfortable and explained the situation. She still refused.
I am extremely disappointed in the care I’ve received and after recommending BayCare to others for years, I’ll now be thinking twice. This has been massively difficult to navigate and I have been respectful and polite through the entire process, but I have been steamrolled by someone with more power than me. Very, very upsetting. Would no longer recommend this place, especially not for medication management. They do not seem to care about you as a person.
I am retired military just looking for a therapist working with my Va community care agent they worked up a referral for me to come here but they won’t even work with me on getting scheduled. Receptions is rude and can’t make the slightest effort to help me with getting processed in to their office. Mental health is treated like a joke
This place makes no sense. I came in filled out paperwork for my son. Then try to make an appointment for the Monday and they say you have to call on Monday to make an appointment. I call Monday to make an appointment for that Monday and they say you have to call the next Monday. Every time I call on Monday they say they are all filled up? I called Monday when they open.
