My son is 6 years old and was being seen by Baycare. I expressed how I feel like my son wasn’t getting the help he needed and said I was going to look for a second opinion. There was no other providers around my area so I had no choice but to stay. But because I expressed my feelings the Dr REFUSED to see my 6 year old. She also said no other dr will be seeing him either. Hospital trip and MRT and they still refused to see me son who clearly needed help. This place sucks GO ELSE WHERE

Had to come in to make an appointment. During a pandemic how do you not do this over the phone or online being apart if something so big as Baycare. Then had to wait FOREVER to get helped. They need more than 1 front desk person for how busy they were.

We had an appointment with our sons Psychiatrist today and expressed the trouble he was having in school and asked about why he still hasn't been set up for counseling and why the meds they are giving aren't working and instead of trying to help us they threatened to call DCFS on us because they felt our story wasn't adding up for them all we want is help for our suffering child.

This behavioral facility medical staff (Dr. Minto) uses intimidation, coercion and threats of DCF if you dont allow her to medicate youre child as she (Dr. Minto) sees fit even if you disagtee with or types of medication and its concerning side affects and continously trying up dosage regardless of effectiveness on a child especially when the diagnosis is over video chat. This doctor wants to over medicate youre child and then after 10 medication appointments in 6-8months they only provide 1 counseling appt. Pretty sure it should be the other way around! They seem to have the inability to schedule and keep counseling appointments but sure are johnny on the spot when it comes to medication appointments. This doctor is basically a drug dealer with a license she dosent care about your kid only how much medication she can prescribe and bill insurance. Posted by father of patient using GF phone

They have failed my children. They show that they care more about money than the well-being of their patience. They do not keep promises that they make and they set my kids up for failure

I unfortunately have had to deal with this place through two kids with ADHD, across a total of about 7.5 years. There have been great therapists and some of the psychiatrists have been ok. However, the most consistent thing has been the terrible office staff, and it has gotten worse over the years, and this goes all the way up through a few levels of office managers. I once got so angry at the incompetence that I tried to work my way up the chain of management and not a single one of them cared enough to call me back that I finally just gave up. Most recently my husband and I have been trying since -December- to reschedule an appt for our son and no one answers the phone and no one will call us back despite daily voicemails left. This is not new. They frequently call us to cancel our appointments because they scheduled the wrong day for the Dr.or the Dr.suddenly is taking a vacation and they're clearing the schedule. Or even better, you show up to an appt and can't be seen because either they scheduled a day the Dr.isn't there or they didn't actually put you on the schedule despite handing you a card with your day and time. Maddie, if she is still there (my husband has been taking our son for a long time now), isn't usually rude per se, but she has made many of the scheduling mistakes. The other lady, I don't remember her name, has always been extremely rude and I've witnessed her ignoring the phone on numerous occasions because she can't/won't multitask. They also chase off any good Dr.they get in as we rarely have the same one for more than a few months. We would have gone somewhere else long ago if there was anywhere else to go!

Great Drs.and counselors! Dr. Kuhn and Alan Koths are wonderful! They are kind and caring and really listen when discussing my child's behavior or treatment! My son actually looks forward to his bi-weekly visits. I would definitely recommend treatment to anyone that's little one is having behavioral issues! The entire staff is awesome, from the girls at the front desk to the counselors and Drs. I can't say enough good and my son had really made a complete turn around! There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't receive negative comments and feedback from his teacher's last year to being told that kids like him are the reason his teacher started teaching! He's like a whole other child this year!

Beautiful. I've been going here for a bit over two years now, and plan to stay here as long as I can. Going into the building, there's a TV, free wifi, magazines, toys and the like. The receptionists are so kind, they're understanding and sweet- Maddie is my personal favorite!: D The psychiatrists and therapists alike here are great, never tried to drug me up- always making sure I'm on the least meds possible, and the right ones at that. On the therapist end, mine has been with me for these two years, and all the other ones I've had (At least 8 in all honesty) could never measure up. Terry is fantastic, he's gotten me through so much. Generally, this is a fantastic place, and I hope everyone who needs it has the opportunity to get the help they offer.

I've been coming here for over 5 years now. The people who work there are the best at what they do, are very friendly and always take time to listen to your concerns. I've never felt rushed here like I do at other doctors offices. Baycare works with the families and the children get the best care ever.

Before I start I want to state that I absolutely love my daughter's therapist and the therapists we have had in the past. They are phenomenal at their work and seem to really care about their patients. That being said, I have been with BayCare Behavioral Health for my daughter for about 4 years now. The front desk has never changed. They are, at best, short and blunt. Very unpleasant to speak with. It is near impossible to get them on the phone. I have left two messages over the course of 2 days, and have heard nothing. Either change out the front desk staff or get some more hired hands to manage the volume of calls and clients. The front desk is the first thing that people encounter, and it can make the difference between clients staying or finding another site. If I didn't love my daughter's therapist as much as I do, I would have walked away already.
