Bayfront Inn, St. Augustine FL

I would give it 5 stars for the view and the friendly staff but have to comment on the state of the Bathroom fixtures. The room we got the Vanity Cabinet had bad dry rot or something, the handles needed cleaning also the Toilet paper dispenser which had some sort of coating over it which clearly means it was never cleaned, very Gross. The beds were very comfortable, I think for a place where one pays over 200 hundred dollars, the Bathroom should be clean. I really was even nervous about the general Cleaning habits of the entire room after seeing the condition of the fixtures. Also when entering the room a toilet paper roll was left on the dispenser, not new but half used. I have never encountered that at a hotel.

I stayed here back in 2018 with some friends. We had no issues at the time of the stay. If I’m ever in the area again over night, I would definitely consider staying here again!

I love it here. Walking distance to historic downtown shops and restaurants. Overlooking the bay. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I will be back.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. The views are outstanding, right on the water. There is a daily hot and cold breakfast and last day "happy hour" snacks. There is one parking spot on property per room. The rooms are not fancy, but they were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The employees are super nice and helpful. If you are looking for a place to sleep while you visit St Aug in the heart of the historic district, this is an ideal place.

To be clear it is a 2 star hotel, but as far as 2 star hotels this one is worth the 5 star rating. Extremely friendly and accomadating staff. Small pool, but it was clean and maintained. Rooms had a fridge, iron+table, and blow dryer. AC worked really well.

The hotel has a phenomenal view, troom was adorable and pristine.just perfect! The personnel was extremely professional; everyone we met was polite and took pride in their work. Bonus: the breakfast was simple yet it offered something for everyone: eggs, sausage, the most fluffy fresh biscuits, dry cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, OJ. All within walking distance from Sr. George Street.

This is our go to place when we are in St. Augustine, we only stay there and will adjust our schedule to fit availability.

During a visit this past weekend I was greeted by Samantha. She is very friendly and professional. She brings value to your brand.

I was charged $200 on my card because they said there was an odor of cannabis card in my room from my stay. First off, I’m a medical cannabis card holder and am legally allowed to posses cannabis per state and doctor orders in the state of Florida. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety and depression. Yes, I had cannabis on my possession, but it was not used in the room. I am more respectful than that. The staff said well we’re going to assume you smoked regardless so we’re charging your card. Doesn’t matter that the front staff encouraged us several times to bring alcohol to the room or what bars are open late, after saying we don’t drink. I’ve never been more offended in my life. I needed that money for bills and they just took it off an assumption with no evidence.

It's got a nice location and the look of the place is really interesting and unique. The original house the establishment is based around is still intact in the middle of the hotel which is also a cool feature. Nice view of the waterfront outside. A free breakfast is also served in the mornings which is also a nice little plus when you're on a budget. The one drawback we experienced while here were the floors in our rooms as we felt they could have been a little cleaner. Still an overall good stay, just wish this one issue was addressed for any future visits.

Free parking with room rental saving you the hassle of finding a place downtown. Within walking distance of every major attraction except the lighthouse and gator farm. Room was very clean.

This hotel is clean, staff overly nice and helpful, affordable (for the location) and a block from all the action of St. Augustine! Then you add in hot breakfast, a nice charcuterie-themed social hour (BYOB) and a beautiful view of the inlet! We'll be back for sure.

Stayed there one night in end of May. Beds very comfortable. Rather spacious rooms. Shower looking little tired. Afternoon snacks was a nice touch (cheese, fruits, etc) but breakfast a bit too basic. Also all pool furniture looks really old and worn and needs to be replaced (see photo). Good location. Overall a decent place to stay.

Very nice clean rooms close to everything you can see the water very nice we would stay there again. Service was friendly.

We had an excellent 2 night stay at the Bayfront Inn. The hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was sooo comfortable! The hotel staff were all friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a lovely breakfast each morning of pastries, bagels, and other breakfast items. My husband really enjoyed the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. The hotel is centrally located in the historic district right across from the marina. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops with ease. We would highly recommend the Bayfront Inn to anyone looking to stay in St. Augustine.

This is our second night here and we have really enjoyed staying here. We found our room to be very clean and spacious. We love being so close to downtown and the front desk staff (very friendly) was so helpful in giving great restaurant suggestions and activities. The breakfast was wonderful. Delicious coffee cake and a really tasty breakfast casserole. They also do a really cute social hour with meats, cheeses, and fruits.

They have fresh cookies and cold water bottles available throughout the day. They do not do room service due to covid but honestly that doesn’t bother us anyway. We’ve had a lovely stay and I would love to come back someday.
