Bayfront Park Recreation Center, Longboat Key FL

Parked here for beach access. Plenty of parking. There is a nice restroom by the playground we changed in. Lots of pickleball courts and other recreation opportunities too but we don’t use them. Great little park by the beach.

Can play pickle ball here. Can also play tennis, but one of the tennis courts has been converted into pickle ball.

A beautiful park in Longboat Key that offers pickle ball, tennis, pet park (large and small dogs), kayak launch and beach access. Not counting the great view of the gulf while playing.
So thankful to have it near us.

You have the Bayfront park with picnic tables and grills. Then walk across the street and you have the beach. Great spot and not as crowded as others on the Key.

My children loved the park and walking along the water.they also have tennis courts and 2 different dog parks. Very safe environment

Wonder land of water, recreation, and sporting. And the views are fantastic. If you happen to nab a kayak, paddle to the close by mangrove adventureland. There are Play structures, pickle, ball, courts, basketball, court, kayak, rental, clean restrooms, docks, over the water, green space, lots of good parking. Also educational opportunities through the large strategic postings. A great place to spend a relaxing morning, or evening, not a lot of walking space, but you’ll be rewarded with fantastic bay views.

There is an amazing dog park here, where one of the Longboat Key residence donated a considerable amount of money to have turf put in. There is a very large crowd in the morning called coffee hour and then it slows down a little bit around 10 o’clock. My dog absolutely loves it here she is a boxer in fines lots of friends to play with and she knows when we leave the house where we are going she gets excited. Every once in a while, there is a dog we don’t want her playing with or vice versa and we are able to take her for a walk along the sidewalk right next to the bay.

Super cute playground area for little ones! There are bathrooms available and a path to the water with tables and grills along the way!

Great pickleball courts. Lots of people playing and various skill levels. Has 3 dedicated pickleball courts and several tennis courts that have been converted to pickleball. Great people, good place to play on Longboat Key.

Very new facilities and very popular for public pickleball and tennis.

Very crowded in season and especially on the weekends with pickleball players

For pickleball, North courts are for better players.
