Bayside Inn Key Largo

Don't stay at this hotel. I cancelled my reservation 2 days before the hurricane hit in September and they wouldn't refund my money. I booked through Expedia and they were no help. I had no flight to get there and the keys were closed but yet they still wouldn't refund my money. Horrible business

I stayed for 10 days and the view was good and everything was good, but the room cleaning was dirty and smelled a lot. It was hard because cockroaches came out and it was itchy to be bitten by insects after sleeping.

Rooms were old but tried to fix up. AC made tons of noise for a bad night sleep. Room was supposed to be garden view but was a propane tank.

Stayed here one night. Love it! It appeared to be a motel but it has a lot of details to make the stay relaxing. Rooms are extremely clean and refresh. The private beach is so clean and well-equipped seating, with kayaks, toys, pingpong table, lovely canopies. Beautiful and quiet spot for enjoying the sunset view. Also, they have a self-service high end coffee machine (using Starbucks beans) for coffee, espresso, hot chocolate at your finger any time for free! Never had that even in the large high end hotels. Check in and out was a breeze and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Will stay again!

They've done wonderful job renovating this property. The customer service was fantastic upon check in. The location is great, there is a little private beach. They have kayaks and stand up paddle boards to use for the day at no cost. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place was great for our family. Nice rooms, easy access to the pool/bay and a sandy area to play. Beautiful place to watch the sunset and enjoy the live band from the restaurant next door! Would highly recommend.

This hotel was a 10 out of 10 for sure kat at the front desk was great. Room were clean bathroom was Extremely clean TV was nice and big We had a perfect view of the water from our room room 301 has a great Waterview you can leave your door open in here the music from the restaurant next-door really enjoyed this feature The restaurant next-door is excellent the food was a 10 out of a 10 drinks were great the sunset was perfect here and the pool area was clean The cabanas were great lots of seating for everyone to watch the sunset This place is perfect

I think it was very expensive for what they had the place wasn’t very clean and the receptionist wasn’t very pleasant they need to take a lesson or a class in management and having their employees be more pleasant

The room was so musty smelling and all the sheets felt wet. We asked for some new sheets and the guy came in and dropped the bag of sheets on the ground and said "not my problem". As we were changing the sheets we noticed most of the pillows had mold on them. Thankfully we were traveling in our car and had some spare sheets and pillows we were able to use. The "beach" area is just a small dirty spot with trash in the water. Don't be fooled by the fancy front office.

If you like black mold, dirty rooms and a manager with a bad attitude, look no further! The Bayside Inn is the place to be overcharged and sleep in filth!
I brought these photos to the attention of housekeeping, the front desk and the manager. They "might" refund my 150 dollar resort fee. Trust me. Nothing about this establishment resembles a resort. Save your money and your sanity and probably, your respiratory health by staying in your car or sleeping in a dumpster; those options will be much more accommodating and comfortable. After speaking to the manager, Kat, I feel uncomfortable staying here.

This was our second time staying here. Amazing staff, amazing views and amenities. Anything you need or any maintenance needed is taken care of professionally and immediately. Can’t beat having one of the best restaurants/bar right next door on the other side of the hedge row. It’s our go-to resort in key largo and it should be yours too.

We loved the atmosphere and location. Our room was extremely clean. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful (Kat even helped us get snacks one night)!

My husband and I stayed here on our first night of our honeymoon and it was perfect. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is lovely with beautiful views. We love that there is a nice restaurant within walking distance. We will always book here when we take trips to key largo.

So cute hotel. We really loved every second we spent there, the room was amazing, bigger then we thought, private beach, a nice pool and entertaining place, a very convenient place with alot of stores nearby, able to walk there. Waiting so excited to comeback! ️
