Molly really loves daycare and everyone there is courteous and professional. Highly recommend this place!

They must be desperate for favorable reviews. There are employees leaving 5 ️ reviews which have yet to be removed.
I have had a horrible experience at this location. Please do your homework!

Average at best for several reasons.
The building and layout is the best part. Lots of space for the different sized dogs. The challenge we have is with the staff but not for the reasons you may assume. Everyone we have spoken with seems very nice. What we have noticed is they are short staffed and causes the nice people to be well overworked.
As convenient as this place is for us, I don’t think we will take our dog back there much more. Maybe when there are able to bring on more staff, then yes.

We love Bayside Pet Resort of Lakewood Ranch! All my dogs love to hang out in small dog daycare with Sonja. I could not trust anyone more with my dogs then Bayside Pet Resorts:)

We have 3 pugs, and they love staying at Bayside Pet Resort. They are well taken care of while we are put of town. They even have daycare as well.

I can't even give a rating about the facility. If I didn't have to choose a star, I would leave it blank. The writing was on the wall the day I dropped off my morkie and I regret not trusting my instincts with this one.

Our reservation was from Friday night to Sunday with late pickup. Upon making my initial reservation, I was told it was $40 for Friday and Saturday and with late pickup on Sunday I had the option to have my furbaby receive a bath for only $25 in lieu of paying another $40 for Sunday. I took the option of the bath and was quoted $105 for the reservation.

During drop off on Friday, I noticed other dog owners having some clerical issues with paperwork at the front desk. The lady at the desk had mentioned that the facility was doing their best but had been experiencing high turnover with staff over the last couple of weeks. Furthermore, there were comments being made by the gal at the desk about paperwork not being done that should have been completed for customers, however, paperwork was missing. The same lady had given me 3 forms to complete for my reservation - a checklist of policies/procedures that I had to initial from top to bottom, a form for feeding, and one other I can't remember. Hindsight 20/20, I should have requested copies because miraculously at pickup these forms were nowhere to be found. On the policies form that I initialed, it spoke of late pickup and how the bath would be an option. Apparently, I was missing a form during my drop-off to solidify the bath portion of my reservation. Surprise no surprise given what I encountered while I waiting in line. The gal asked if I wanted to add activities to my reservation. I asked what those were and she mentioned night snuggles and walks. She said if I didn't choose anything my dog would remain in her suite the whole time. Well obviously that's not cool. So I opted for the night snuggle for 1 night and 1 nature walk. NEVER ONCE was I told this would cost extra. Again, surprise no surprise there are fees associated to the activities. Again I asked about what my cost would be referencing the quote I was given and the only discrepancy at that time was what the bath would look like due to not knowing how my dog would be with it or how her coat was. Understandable and quite honestly I have a small dog. How much could it possibly be, right?

My pickup on Sunday was a disaster! I have never experienced such poor levels of customer care and service. The lady on the desk was HORRIBLE! She tells me my total for the stay was $178. Now, that's a significant difference between $105 and $178. I asked why it was so much and that I was given a quote of $105 - $40 a day for Friday and Saturday and $25 for Sunday due to taking the bath option with the later pickup. The lady went from 0 to 1000 with her attitude basically insinuating that I'm a liar! She runs over the activities that jacked the price and further tells me that I did not sign a required contract/form for the bath. The paperwork I did complete was never found. The woman said there's no way I would receive a quote of $25 for the bath because that's not a charge for it. All in all, I paid for only the 2 nights stay. However, the experience of getting to the final payment was a challenge and unacceptable. I was told that notes were being made about checkout being problematic. At that point, my husband became involved and it was a mess. Not that we would ever be welcomed back into this facility, but we would NEVER consider this place again!

Process overall stared great the women at the desk were awesome with us and gave us all the information we needed so we thought. When we arrived to pick up our baby we got told how much it was and it was a substantial difference to what the ladies told us. Where the one star comes in the lady at the front desk was NASTY AND RUDE and upset that we were questioning the difference of the quote to the actual charge even accused us of trying to get free things when in reality we just wanted to do what we were told we had to do from the beginning. The good service should be across the board not just some and if there is miscommunication it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility teach and train your people to be clear with quotes and not sure if possible but the lady that was at that desk needs to lose the tude.

Best place to board our little pups! The facilities are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to have our dogs stay here when we’re away!

Such a great place! All the staff is so helpful and everyone clearly adores the animals. I’ve never been to a pet facility that’s so clean and well kept. I love taking my dog there!

We trusted them with our sweet little Shih Tzu, and they neglected to feed him his food for 4 days! They misplaced his bag of stuff (blanket, food, chew bones).

I don’t know how this is okay.

We left to go to Disney World Tuesday morning and came back Friday afternoon. When we picked him up all of his food was still in the bag along with his dog treats to chew on. When we called, whoever was at the front desk said that they had “a computer error” and that his feeding instructions were not available. Can somebody tell me why they didn’t call us for four whole days?

Our dog looked exhausted, and not himself. His front paws are rubbed raw, presumably from scratching at his kennel door. When we put some food in front of him at home, he devoured it.

The woman said that they fed him other food, but that he didn’t eat a lot. He just sort of grazed. How do we even know that’s true? We were not able to figure out how to view him on the camera system at all.

When we dropped him off in the morning for his personality test, they thought that he didn’t actually have a reservation. But then they found it. Also, I was told to fill out the 17 page survey online, which, by the way, asks, completely stupid questions. I was told to fill the survey out online and then also print it off on paper to bring it in because of a problem with their computer systems. Also, by the way, I emailed his shot records, but they couldn’t find it due to their “computer systems” so they asked me to bring in a printed copy.

We had some misgivings about the place based on all of the apparent computer problems. I think the term “computer problem” for them is really just a euphemism for we are confused, incompetent, and completely disorganized.

Our dog completely slipped through the cracks. I will never trust our dog with these morons again.

They have a sign outside offering curbside pick up. My wife needs to drop the dogs off this week for daycare because I have to travel for work. She is 6 months pregnant and would not do curbside pick up.

It’s fine if you don’t do it, but don’t have a sign out side saying you do.

Michelle the receptionist is very rude and condescending on the phone. I took my cats here once. The facility was very clean. But this is now the 2nd time she has spoken to me nasty on the phone when I’ve had simple questions. Take your animals elsewhere

We took our dogs here for “testing” to be sure they could be boarded. They are doodles and have been boarded before. When we picked up and asked how they did the response was, oh, we never tested them. We forgot. They were locked in a room ALL DAY and this place just “forgot them? ! ” That’s never happened to a dog of mine before. We asked for regional manager to call us, also never did. I’ve lived in a lot of states and boarded a lot of dogs in the past. This experience came across as dangerous and reckless towards my dogs. Did they even get water while stuck in a box all day? I don’t know. They forgot about them. Not worth the $$$ they ask for, we’ll go elsewhere.

I took the tour and was impressed with the many types of accommodations for dogs and cats. Basic to very expensive suites with TV and bluetooth cameras. All animals get exercise daily.

They take great care of my dog when I board him. 24 hour camera in his suite is an awesome benefit.
